    Heavenly Spark

On me it's all oak and incense without a single trace of rose and you know what, I am in love with it. Sadly, it fades within 30 minutes to a hour. I am hoping a few weeks of aging will help it last longer because I really want a bottle of it.

    Connecting Flight

This is so similar to Café Mille that I don't need a bottle. But it's certainly very nice and a very cozy coffee scent

    Circus Bear

Sadly, on me this is all gardenia all the time with a tiny tiny hint of a sweetness. I have changed my relationship with gardenia from complete hatred to tolerable. But even in this I can't handle it.

    Dinnertime at the Diviner’s Hut

The tomato leaf in this gives it a soft herbal aroma and it blends quite nicely with the heavy resinous smell of the frankincense. I don't have anything like this in my collection and I will certainly cherish my decant. I feel it would be a good scent for meditation for sure. It's very centering

    Motherhood

I only like Snake Oil when it has been aged for at least a year or even better, two years. This scent is all fresh snake oil with a heavy dose of bubblegum and something that verges on smelling like strong red musk and I know it's not a note, but that's what my nose is picking up. It's by no means a bad scent, but I think I need to let it age a while before I come back to it.

    Stonehenge at Dusk

In the decant it's all grass and dandelions. On the skin it is absolutely stunning. Fresh, outdoorsy and every beautiful aspect that you love about Springtime. I smell the dandelions and daffodils distinctly and I am vaguely reminded of Venus Verticordia, this is definitely the same dandelion note. The grass is true to form and dammit if I am not smiling like a idiot while I have this on. It is happiness and sweet memories on hot days come to life.

    Pumpkin Latte

In the bottle this is a dead ringer for the PSL at Starbucks and it's mouthwatering. On the skin it's the exact same except the more it sits the more the milk and raw sugar notes come out and changes it only slightly and I am not complaining one bit here. It's festive and delicious and I want to drink it

Autumn Scents - recommend the ones you love

I love wearing Troll, Voodoo, Penny Dreadful, Djinn, Brimstone, Fenris Wolf and Nosferatu during the Fall and Winter months.

    Unicorn Hunt

In the decant this did terrible things to my nose, I didn't like it. I love cassis and I love it blended with more spicy notes and so I was worried how it would blend with the vetiver and the mimosa etc... It's quite pleasant after about 40 minutes to a hour. It's dried to a spiced wine like mentioned above, with a nice balance from the amber and red currant. I think I will save it for Winter as I feel it would be very comforting during that time.

    Allegory of Chastity

Powdery, gorgeous blushing pink roses and a heavy dollop of vanilla cream. I get no bergamot and no jasmine and this is most pleasing to me. But it smells very similar to De Vos' Unicorn on me, I don't need a bottle but this decant will be used up for sure.

    Lilac!

I love Lilac in all forms and just adore when Beth makes scents with it. That said---- One of my all time favorite Lilac scents is Ashlultum from Act 4 of the Carnaval. It's pure lilac and vanilla musk on me and absolutely stunning.

    De Vos’ Unicorn

I adore this so much. sugared, candied peony and lavender with a touch of white musk that makes it smell sophisticated. The apricot is only there slightly and I don't mind it. It's stunning and innocent and like the review above states, it's fluffy. Toward the dry down the rose vanilla definitely makes it's presence known and I am left with a pink peony, rose-y marshmallow cloud of delight. So glad I got a bottle.

    Coral Snake (2016)

I never smelled the original so I cannot compare. When I first tried this it was gardenia and snake oil and truthfully I didn't like the combination. I let it settle for a few days and the apple came forward and the gardenia took a back seat and I immediately started loving it. Now, after a few more weeks of aging I love it even more. It's snake oil (barely) with a ton of apple and plumeria. If you're afraid of apple in scents for the fear of it ruining a blend, fear not, this is stunning and I think everyone should try it. The plumeria makes it smell tropical and beachy but not in a salt water, ocean type of way............... I love this and it lifts my mood and makes me feel like walking sunshine.

    King Cobra (2016)

I never smelled the original so I cannot compare. But this is very resinous on me, but a sweeter resinous. I definitely get a heavy dose of the orris with the snake oil. The snake oil is lending the heavy spicy sweetness that I really like. I can't pick out any black copal and the frankincense is almost non existent. After a while it leans toward smelling powdery and resinous after the sweetness fades, not that I mind. I use this term for a lot of these resinous blends, but it feels old to me, ancient and magical. Love

    Apple Pie Hair Gloss

Oh goodness, I am first! I immediately smelled this one first and sprayed into my hair when I got the package. In the bottle it's nearly identical to the most crisp, delicious apple cider without a heavy spice base, soooo good. On the hair it's still predominantly apple and no spice, and I definitely get a red apple note but it's still tart, not tart enough to be a green apple though. It really does smell like pie but almost like you took the apple pie and right when it was about to be done you took pieces of the apple skin and put it on top to be baked into everything else. It is a incredible Autumn and early Winter gloss. I will cherish my bottle (:

    Indulgence

This is such a interesting scent. When I first tried it, I hated it. I knew better, and I decided to let it age for quite a long time and now I am trying it again today and wow at the difference. Something about it is so intriguing that I can't take my nose away from my arm. It is indeed green and has this coolness about it. Honestly to my nose it smells like Lady Lucille with just green tones mixed in. The tobacco flower gives it depth and the vetiver keeps it still smelling rich and smoky but not in a outdoors type of way. I am thinking a big bottle is required now.

    The Waltz

I just realized I never did review this one, shame on me. The Waltz is undeniably beautiful and undeniably feminine. A blast of extremely subtle champagne roses with a generous dollop of vanilla amber. I detect no ambergris and that's quite alright. I usually tend to amp champagne, not here and I am most grateful. I wear this when I want to feel extremely elegant but not super noticed. It's stunning and I really love it.

    Banded Sea Snake (2016)

I smelled 0 snake oil in this and I get the same thing that Little Bird got. A very clean laundry sort of smell with just a hint of oakmoss. It's a okay scent, but I really wish it was more. I won't give up though, will keep trying.

    Zarita, The Doll Girl (2016)

This new formulation isn't as nice on me as the original and the berries are the culprit mixed with everything else. Something is just off and it verges into smelling like a high end powdery shampoo *sad face* I am chalking this up to a bad skin chemistry day and I will definitely try again in a week or so and update.

    Bulgarian Tobacco

Definitely different from my beloved French Tobacco. For one it's not as strong and not as caramelized smelling or well on the sweeter side in general. Bulgarian Tobacco to me smells very Middle Eastern. Like it belongs in Istanbul at a market. I see myself back there during the Medieval times in the Bazaar, walking straight through the incense stands and I can smell the tobacco wafting off the rooms of vendors that have the jars of pipe tobacco open for everyone to smell. It's spicy, a tiny touch earthy, thick, meditative and a little ancient. I love it very much!

    Green Tree Viper

2016 fresh bottle compared to a old decant. My decant is primarily snake oil and the mint in the bottle, same as on the skin. I smell 0 green tea and only a touch of bergamot and the way it smelled on me with the mint and snake oil being the stars is what made me fall for the blend in the first place, something about it just intrigued me and uplifted me. My 2016 fresh bottle is only a touch different. In the bottle I definitely smell the green tea with the mint and the snake oil is hardly present. On the skin though it does come out but it's very blended with the green tea and the mint. The green tea kind of dominates for a while and then after about a hour the mint, snake oil completely take over and I am left with the scent I first fell in love with. But I ADORE the green tea showing up, makes it more uplifting and even more refreshing. Definitely one of my all time favorite Snakes and now I think I need more bottles. <3

    Faith

Powdery, airy, sugar candied violet from beginning to end. Faith is so simple but she is absolute perfection. I love her immensely <3

    Hope

I definitely agree with the previous reviewer in saying it is reminiscent of Pink Snowballs. It only smells similar to it in the bottle to me though. On the skin it's just beautiful and I have enough rose scents for a army, but I can never have enough. This is one of the prettiest rose scents I own and one of the most simple ones as well. The sugar is dusted over top, almost like you took the petals and just dipped them in sugar water or sugar crystals for a few hours and it's kind of creamy too. It's undeniably feminine and I love that about it.

    Golden Champa Attar

Thick, heady, rich Nag Champa that is borderline smoky sweet. I agree with someone above that it smells like a shop I used to get scarves and skirts at, that alone makes me feel very nostalgic. At times it's barely detectable on me though and I wish it had more throw, but dammit if this isn't just stunning. I am glad I decided on a bottle.
