  1. I agree with the above poster. I get sea of glass without the lemon & more floral. I was hoping for a little more lemon, but was relieved when I got no honey.

I will say that this has been the absolute longest lasting bpal on my skin. It has been the only one that has lasted an entire day on me. I'm still deciding if I love it or if I'm going to trade my bottle...

  2. Um this is gorgeous. I mean, REALLY a gorgeous. It's not something I ever would have picked from the description, but thanks to the lab I got a lovely little free imp. I mostly get the tobacco, but on me it mostly smells of vanilla sheesha. There's something else there that grounds the scent & I'm guessing that must be the tonka. LOVE

I will be wanting a bottle & a bottle of the coconutty proto version.

Why do you do this to me bpal? You make me need things I didn't even know I liked!!!

  3. So I hated this when I opened the bottle, because I was expecting chocolate for some reason. (My mistake!) I'm also not generally a fan of the labs cherry note & to a lesser extent dragons blood.

With all that being said, together they friggin' sing! I love this one! It's sweet sticky spicy cherry candy.

  4. I'm learning more & more inscense & Amber are really just not for me. This isn't a bad scent, but it's really cloying on me even after just applying a dab from the imp stick.

I liked it better after I washed it off & it was much fainter. Now it's really nice, actually.

  5. This smells glorious. It's smells like I've stuck my face in a spring bouquet & have come up with a face full of yellow pollen.

I'm not proficient with specific flower smells, but this smells exactly like what I imagined a scent called nectar would.

On a semi-related note: this is my first hair gloss & I love what it's done for my hair.

  6. Wet, this is super yuzu, which I love, but yuzu always disappears upon dry down on me. So sad.

On dry down this is really strong of oregano (like an oregano plant, not dry spice) with a little citrus in the background.

    I'm glad I got a decant, but I won't be needing a bottle.

After a second look at the notes, I may have been confusing the thyme for oregano.

  7. My nose must be crazy, because in the imp & in wet application I smelled cherries. Maybe it's the sweet almond?

On dry down it went completely away & I smell smokey cinnamon. I usually can't wear myrr, but this is really nice. It's subtle & powerful at the same time.

  8. I was expecting something similar to dark chocolate, fig & tamarind, but instead ended up with lots & lots of quince! I like it... A lot.

The quince is loud & a little sharp, but in a good way. After a few minutes it tones down a little bit.

The rich chocolate of dcft never shows up, but it's a gorgeous blend nonetheless.

  9. In the imp, this smelled warm and sweet.

It turned quite a bit more musky on my skin, and while smelling gorgeous, it was nearly immediately headache inducing.

I don't get the honey at all (which is a good thing for me.)

15 minutes later I have to shove my face into my wrist to smell it.

It's really nice at some stages, but I think this will be added to my swap list.

  10. I love the red color of this oil.

I pretty much get cinnamon, clove, & carnation. The carnation is mostly in the bottle, it goes away on the initial dry down & then comes back later as the dominant note
