I love the idea of the notes in this and in the vial it smells really grand but for some reason when it hits my skin it turns into Raid Ant Killer. *sigh* I am going to try it again in a week or so and see if that helps.

Edit: I think that what happens is that my skin grabs the thyme and only the thyme. I have a plant of it outside and it smells exactly like what Calliope does on me.

Intrigue is a strong dark chocolate when I first put it on with the fig behind it sweetening it just slightly but then there's the Black Palm (and I assume the wood notes) that smacks it to the ground and really makes this oil interesting. Dirty but not naughty. Sensual but not in a food way or an overly sexual way.

I find myself using this oil at times when I am home and feeling rough around the edges but perfectly fine with that. I don't know that I would want anyone else smelling me like this but I can't stop putting it on when I'm alone.

It's my bitch scent.

On me the champagne is only noticeable when Bon Vivant is wet. Aside from that it is beautiful fresh strawberries. It isn't heavy or cloying just a very light sweetness that makes me oh so happy. I wish it didn't fade as quickly as it does but it seems to last much longer when I streak some through my hair (plus I can smell it when I walk more easily that way). It is a wonderful 'perky day' scent for me.

Wet wipes! I have young children so we have them around anyway but I like to keep a wet wipe handy when I am testing out imps. It gets my fingers clean of the muddled mix of imp guts I've managed to get all over myself. Wait, imp guts sounds bad. Imp goo? Imp essence? There, that's better.
