    Hello my International Peeps :P

     

    Ok can't do a shipping calculator but this should work. 

    1 item = 1 5ml

    1 item = 1 10 ml

    1 item = 1 set of imps (6 imps)

     

    If it's 4 items or less, these are the flat rates:

    $7 Canada

    $9 most of Western Europe

    $10 to Australia

     

    If it's 5 items or more  = 2 dollars extra to each flat rate.

    If 10 items or more, $4 dollars extra to each flat rate.

     

    For example:

    3x5mls + 3 set of imps = 6 items = $9 dollars to Canada, $11 to UK, $12 to Australia

     

    Another example:

    5x5mls + 6 sets of imps = 11 items = $ 11 to Canada, $13 to UK, $14 to Australia

    Ummmm.  Someday, maybe there will be an East Coast branch of BPAL.

    I reckon BPAL should have a branch in every major city. Worldwide. By next Wednesday.

    I'm wearing this today as I'm driving later and don't want to overwhelm my instructor with a heavy intense perfume :P

     

    To me this starts off as very similar to Kumiho. I get the same fresh clean scent, but it's very white rather than green. Then something very odd happens. From nowhere, the crispness fades extremely quickly into something gently fruity: blackberries and raspberries. This lingers for a lot longer than the crisp scent, but even so it fades after an hour or so.

    I was going to PM Nella but I thought you all might have the same question or possibly the answers.

     

    How long will the "imp sale" go on?  And exactly how limited are the limited editions? 

     

    I was hoping to order mid-June as a little reward if I keep up my recently adopted healthy lifestyle so I don't want to miss out! :P

    From the update, it sounds like all the pricing changes are permanent: or at least until some large-scale change forces the prices to vary like they have now. I don't think the imp prices are a special offer.

     

    As for the Limited Edition, last time (Christmas) Beth posted updates as to how many bottles were left on the Livejournal community, and now it's also listed on the page here. I guess now that we have this forum, updates will appear here too...

     

    I think the LE's sold out in about 3 weeks over Christmas, if memory serves me correctly. As this time there's only the one, and there are now a lot more people on the forum than there used to be on LJ, it might go sooner. That's just a guess though.

    :P I was about to say the same.

    I will definitely be signing up for that the minute that it's live! Oooh, so exciting! (I know it probably won't happen for ages but hey, I'll still grin like an idiot for today anyway!)

    Alas, I am in the same situation as lorajc: no update, even after closing all the windows and opening my browser again :P

    Oh well. Maybe tomorrow morning...

    What browser are you using? Some don't delete the cache when you close it, it might need you to go empty it manually...

    You deserve a long rest and a relaxing time for a while now, you've really outdone yourself with these scents!!

Do you know if, when we place our orders via paypal, if we should send 2 copies - one as we make our paypal payment to blackphoenix@blackphoenixalchemylab.com, and another to Nella or someone else at the BPAL lab? If so, to whom at the lab should we send our duplicate copy of our paypal order and payment? Thanks, anyone who can help me out with this :P .

    I think just the one to Paypal is fine: list all the scents in the quantities you're ordering in the 'notes' field and that should do the trick.

     

    I only mail Nella/Beth as well to check the postage because I'm an Awkward Person In The UK :D

    A question for Beth...

     

    Are these new scents going to be limited edition or a permanent part of the Black Phoenix collection?

     

     

    This will let me figure out how to pace myself and which ones to try first.

    In case anyone else is curious about that ingredient of Midnight, I've been doing a bit of research on Nottingham Catchfly...

     

    From here.

     

    "Nottingham Catchfly, Night-flowering Catchfly, and White Campion

     

    These are all members of the genus Silene, which also has several day-blooming members. These plants have sticky stems, hence the name 'catchfly'. The odor of the Nottingham catchfly is described as sweet and reminiscent of hyacinths, and its flowers open on three successive nights before withering."

    If so, I'm still not exactly clear on how to do so. I did read through the paypal thread, but still need to know a couple details. What is the current email address we send our paypal payment to? Should we follow up with an email to BPAL with our order specs as well? If so, whom should we send it to? Nella?

    In recent correspondence with Nella, she said that future orders should be placed using the blackphoenix@blackphoenixalchemylab.com address for Paypal.

     

    I had been using cupcake@papow.com before, but apparently that one is right now.
