    Golden Priapus

I failed to read the notes on this before I put it on, and in its defense, I wasn't expecting tree. But yep, I definitely got that evergreen note, and unfortunately it just threw off the whole blend for me. Evergreen isn't automatically bad for me, but I don't care for it in this scent.

    O

Honey, amber, and vanilla…seriously, what's not to like here? The honey comes on strongest for me in the beginning, and the vanilla gains dominance during wear. Throughout, the amber stays to the back just adding warmth to the other notes. Light to moderate throw, and long wear length - I applied it in the afternoon, and I could still faintly smell it the next morning. O is just gorgeous on me, and I'm definitely going to need a bottle.

    The Great Sword of War

I get a total citrus overload from this. Not only do I get nothing but citrus, I get a citrus smell like from a citrus cleaner or dish soap. The citrus smell is true for hours before it dies down and lets other notes come through as a sweet skin scent.

Why am I getting lemon from this? Not bright, fresh lemon, though - more like bottled lemon juice. The incense starts to come out more, and the bottled lemon juice starts to smell slightly like skunk. After a while the skunk dies back down to bottled lemon juice. The smokey incense asserts itself more as it wears, and is sweet and lovely, but that lemon undertone just bothers me. Incense and lemon do not go together. I would love this if I could just get the incense smell on its own, and I'll definitely try other scents with incense notes in the future.

I get a hint of chocolate from this, but mostly I get the cherry and orange blossom. The boy thinks this smells like incense and Sweet Tarts. I like this, but I don't think I'll be needing more than an imp.

    Velvet

I wasn't sure about this one at first, but after an hour or so on my skin, it developed into something beautiful. The cocoa and vanilla make it sweet and slightly chocolately, while the myrrh deepense it, and the sandalwood keeps it subtle. I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist while I wore this. This is subtle enough to be worn anywhere, and it's quite comforting too. I love it.

    Empyreal Mist

A hazy, soft, veiled scent: mist floating through twilit skies, curling gently towards the heavens. At first I do get a scent that does remind me of mist, but this scent goes downhill fast. It turns massively chemical and gross - I think it smells like hairspray, and the boy thinks it smells like bug spray. I've tried to wash it off several times, but it still lingers. On me, this is absolutely terrible with nothing redeeming.

Soap. Soap with a hint of ginger. Soap with a hint of sweet creaminess. But throughout all, dominantly, soap. Obviously, this is off to swaps.

    Black Opal

This is a subtle one. I think there's amber in here as I get definite amber warmth while wearing it. It's a soft skin scent, though, and I only really noticed I was wearing this when I got close to my wrist and smelled the sweetness. I'm not sure how often I'll wear this as it's much more subtle than I like my scents to be, but I definitely like it.

    Aeval

Wow, something seriously kicks up on me on this to the point of being almost perfumey and overpowering. Given that sweetpea, tonka, and musk all work on me, I have to guess it's the sage. Underneath, though, I get the musk and the tonka, and it's very sexy on me. I'll definitely wear this one again, especially as a summer scent, but I'll apply a bit less next time to see if I can avoid being overwhelmed by the note my skin amps.

    Bewitched

Strong with a department store perfume smell on application and for hours afterwards. Eventually dries to a blackberry smell with a few other notes (tea and sage?). The drydown is nice but not worth the first few hours.

    Blood Kiss

This scent is so perfect. It starts out as an okay blend of sweet smells, but deepens as it dries. The vanilla comes out strongest on me, but cherry, clove, musk, and some sort of wood scent keep coming up and down throughout wear. There's a sharp note in there somewhere (vetiver?), but it doesn't really detract from the scent.

Mmm, sweet milk. I'd expected this blend not to work on me and was happily surprised when it didn't immediately go plastic on me. The honey comes out a little bit more, and I'm huffing my wrist every few minutes to enjoy the yummy but faint scent. Alas, after about an hour, the scent does indeed goes plastic on me. Fortunately, it's a faint plastic, but I'm still disappointed.

    Blood

Ooh, I like this. For the most part this is cherry and clove -a yummy combination. This doesn't smell like real cherries, but it doesn't smell like cherry cough syrup either. The dragons blood hangs out in the background just adding that extra edge of numminess. This isn't a sexy blend like Blood Kiss, though - I think the lack of musk actually takes away from the scent a bit. This is a more of a light, playful daytime scent. I think I'll see how long it takes me to use up my imp before I consider ordering a bottle, though.

    Hymn to Proserpine

I was so expecting to love this one, but it sadly just didn't work on me. Amber and I normally get along wonderfully, but this scent just goes soapy on me. At one point I get a hint of fruit (in specific, I get currant) peeking out, but it doesn't last, and it dies back down to soap.

    Bliss

Chocolate and nut on application. Turns into Cocoa Krispies smell and stays that way for a few hours. Settles into a nice cocoa scent that turns briefly plasticky, back into the cocoa, and briefly plasticky again before dying.

    Aureus

Hmm. I think that this is the same patchouli that's in Mme Moriarty. All I get from this is the same woody note I got from there. While I'm grateful that this is the good patchouli that I like, I don't think I need a scent that's basically a single note of it on me.

    Lampades

This is nice on me. Starts off as a bit of a jumble with a sharp bit of cranberry being the only note I can identify. As it wears, the smoke from the smoky lilies and the musk start to emerge. The cranberry ripes and develops more, and it, the smoke, and the musk take turns slipping into and out of dominance. I'm not sure I ever get much of the actual lilies, the ginger, or the spices - they may just subtley add to the notes I am picking up.

    March Hare

Smells a bit like schnapps when first applied. Start to turn a bit fake like a scented candle, with the clove first helping the scent and then making it smell even more like a candle. Turns soapy before dying.

    Scherezade

Oh my, love, love, love. Smells like my favorite musk incense when applied. The spices come out quickly to temper the sweetness of the musk. The saffron weaves in and out throughout wear adding additional interest. Initially a bit strong but long lasting with delicious smell for hours. I would love this in an oil burner too.
