    The Dormouse

in the bottle: wow, as a bpal newbie (this is only my 2nd scent) I have never smelled anything like this (in a perfume) before! The scent is very light and fresh... definitely tea and something a little floraly? I smell something almost a tiny bit peppery too... but maybe I'm crazy. Either way... so wonderful and fresh! wet: the floral comes out more on my skin and overpowers everything else, though it's still very soft. I guess it's the peony, but I wouldn't know. Still tea, but not as much, and I don't get the slight spiciness from before. It's very green, clean, and fresh though... I like it! dry: this is all floral, all the time. But it's a nice, soft, floral, with a tiny bit of edge, and it's not too overpowering. overall impression: This is a lovely, soft floral on me, and though it's delightful I wish more of the tea had stayed. (I spilt a little on my desk which dried into a delightful tea that I wish I could smell more on my skin). However, it's a beautiful scent and it makes me feel like running through a field of fresh flowers. This will be great for days when I feel like being sweet and girly and I can see myself getting use from the imp this summer, though it might be nicer in spring edit: I use this in my hair now and the tea stays a bit more... I love it so much that I got a bottle! Though it's not going to get much use again until it gets warmer out probably.

    Frumious Bandersnatch

my very first bpal scent, and very first review! in the bottle: so plumy, spicy and delightful.... I'm in love! wet: I get a little bit of the candle shop/pouppori vibe from this too, but not in a terrible way, and it's not too overpowering. I definitely get a lot of spice, and a bit of plum underneath. There's probably something floral for me hiding in there too, but I just can't pick it out since the spices cover it up. dry: it's faded a bit into a light, but nice sort of plum-pouppori/candle scent. It's a really good sort candle, but I'm not quite sure if it's a good enough candle to wear, haha. It's not really that spicy anymore and I can't pick out the individual notes. overall impression: I wish it had stayed more plumy, like it was in the bottle, on me. It's still nice, but maybe a bit too much like a candle. I think I'll keep it for now and revisit it in the fall when smelling a tad like a candle might feel more appropriate. After a few more tries This candle is definetley good enough to wear. I have fallen in love with it's plummy goodness and it is becoming one of my comfort scents. I have a 5ml on order and I can't wait. It's also granted me a "you smell good" or two A+
  3. thanks! don't know that I'm ready for something I can't buy in an imp yet, but I'll definetley take a look at it in the future
  4. I can't seem to find charisma, was it LE? Because I'm really interested in trying that one otherwise, I'm definetley going to look into the other suggestions, and check out the other threads posted. Thank so much! feel free to keep posting suggestions for my benefit and for anyone else who might be interested
  5. Well, I only just received my Click N Ship for my very first order and am planning my next order already. Too soon to be hooked? Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can think of good scents for performing (such as in plays, musicals, etc)? What about rehearsing? or auditions? Or on another topic, what about for taking exams? I feel like something fresh that would keep you focused and awake would be good for both of these... but nothing too overpowering. But I'm open to (and curious about) all suggestions! thanks ;D
