This is a gorgeous white floral, sweet but not cloying. I don't usually even wear florals, but a kind forumite sent me a sniffie of this to test, and I really like it! It is a bit faint, but I'd rather have a floral be faint than overpowering. This is really lovely. I don't know if I'd buy a big bottle, as it's not my usual fare, but if I am suddenly overcome with the urge to smell girly and flowery, I know this will fit the bill.

    Cathode

Wet on skin: Sweet mint. Drydown: Soft, sweet herbs. Completely dry: baby powder and soap. Ack. It had so much promise, but alas, my skin turns it into Love's Baby Soft.

    Ulalume

Wet on skin: OMG Wintergreen Altoids! Dry: Has faded to a slightly sweet, pleasant herbal scent. I like it. Unfortunately, it fades very quickly on my skin. I think I'll pass this one along to someone who might love it more.

    Kurukulla

This is a sweet, subtle, unobtrusive floral. It's a bit "perfumey" for me, but it's one of the few strictly floral blends I can wear. I would not hesitate to wear this one somewhere like the office or a church wedding or something. However, it didn't wow me enough to want more. I'm glad I got to try it and will keep it in mind in case I ever need a somewhat conservative scent, but I think for now I'll pass my imp along so someone else can try it.

    The Hierophant

On me, this smells like a hippie eating an orange creamsicle. I smell something earthy and resiny, with perhaps a hint of patchouli, and then yummy orange and vanilla. I don't usually wear earthy scents, but this one is sexy and I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist while I was testing it. I don't know if it's really a "me" sort of scent, so I may not get a big bottle, but I'll hold on to my imp and see if it grows on me.

    The Sun

On me, this scent is very warm and subtle. The only note I can detect for sure is the amber, and maybe some sort of spice. I don't smell any citrus. It's lovely and I will keep my imp, not sure about a full bottle yet.

    Twenty-One

A tribute to New York’s 21 Club on West 52nd, formerly the speakeasy Jack & Charlie’s Puncheon Club. This is the scent of the perfect martini. This is indeed a true martini scent. Not as long-lasting as I'd like, but otherwise great! True to the description and very refreshing. I'm not sure I need a whole bottle, but I may reconsider if I use up the imp.

    The Star

This is a gorgeous summer scent. At first I smell fresh mint, then coconut and lemongrass, seamlessly blended. Very light and refreshing, with a hint of creamy vanilla to soften it. I must order a big bottle ASAP.

    Blood Pearl

That about sums it up. I smell no coconut, just headache-inducing, powdery department-store perfume. I assume the powdery note is the orris, as I have no problems with musk or coconut. Oh well.

    Monster Bait: Underbed

I get boozy cake from this as well. It's yummy smelling, but I definitely have to be in the right mood for it, and I don't like it quite as well as Midway, the epitome of foody goodness for me. Still, I do believe it's a keeper.

    Midway

I was a bit worried about this one, as in the imp I got, I smelled little if anything. But once applied, WOW! So yummy. I smell the sweet cotton candy, fried dough and salty air. It's the perfect summer-vacation foody scent, and I will be sure to grab as many backups as I can of this. May I just say again: YUM.

    Aizen-Myoo

This is a gorgeous, zingy, refreshing spa scent. I smell grapefruit (tart, not sweet), green notes, and perhaps a bit of floral musk, although I don't see that in the description. This might just be my perfect summer scent. It's going on the big bottle list for sure.

    Persephone

This starts out as a lovely, seamless blend of rose and pomegranate. Unfortunately, the pomegranate disappears rather quickly, and I end up with just plain rose. It's not bad, but I tend not to like fragrances that are almost all floral, without anything else to balance them out, so this one is just not going to work for me.

    Xiuhtecuhtli

Ack, get it off me! Seriously, I can totally appreciate that this is a very well blended, unique perfume, but it's just not me. Too earthy, too masculine, too something. It does have a lot of throw, which would be great if I liked it.

    Fruit Moon

This is a beautiful blend! I can't pick out any specific fruit notes, but it's definitely mostly fruit, with a background of a cool evening breeze. Lovely! It doesn't last very long or have much throw, but this is worth reapplying. I might also experiment with adding some perfumer's alcohol for improving the throw, but not sure about that since I only have one bottle and can't get more!

    Mi-Go Brain Canister

In the bottle: sweet, slightly medicinal fruit. Wet on skin: Ah, that's better! I smell mostly some type of melon, nice and sweet but not cloying Dry: Oh dear, my skin is turning this into musty old-lady dusting powder. How sad! The mustiness does die down slightly and I'm left with a faint fruity, powdery scent. I might try it one more time, but it's not my favorite.

    The Hamptons

This scent is sweet, fruity, and fun. I detect the boozy note too, but it doesnt overpower, and the scent is surprisingly subtle once it dries down. I really like this one and will definitely keep my imp and test it some more during the summer. It may even be full bottle worthly--we shall see!

    White Rabbit

At first, I get a peppery blast. Then, the linen scent. As others have said, it resembles dryer sheet aroma, but thankfully, this does not last. It dries down to a pleasant tea scent, slightly sweet, with a hint of ginger. It is a close-to-the skin, comforting scent that I would wear often! Edit: I've tried it a few more times now, and there is something a bit plasticky to this scent on my skin. It's a bit too sweet, also. Oh well, lots of people seem to like it, so it will find a good home.

    Numb

I get mainly dryer sheets and baby powder from this. I don't find it especially cooling, certainly not "ice-rimmed." I had high hopes for using this during the sweltering Georgia summer, but I think it will need to find a new home with someone who appreciates it more.

    Machu Picchu

In the imp and wet on skin, this was a lovely, lush, tropical green scent. I couldn't smell any fruit or amber. After a while on my skin, it developed a sour note that drowned out the wonderful greenness. I think this is a great blend, but unfortunately it's one I can't wear.

    Embalming Fluid

This one doesn't morph much from imp to wet on skin to dry. I smell a very realistic green tea scent with a hint of lemon. It's very refreshing and quite beautiful. Unfortunately, it lasted about half an hour on my skin. Too bad, as it would have been perfect for a long, hot Georgia summer. It sounds like other people have had better luck with its lasting power, so it's definitely a cooling summer scent worth checking out.

    Szepasszony

In the imp: I smell lemons! That's not in the scent description... Wet on skin: Lemony fresh goodness. Not pledge-like at all. Yummy and slightly sweet, and very refreshing. Drydown: Oh no, it's getting a sour note. Yikes! And the lovely lemon has disappeared. I can see this being a great scent for some, but not for me!

    Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit smelled a bit, well, fruity in the vial and wet on my skin, but once it dried, it turned very musky on me. There's no musk in the scent description, but that's what I smelled. It was pleasant enough, but not unique and certainly not full bottle worthy. My skin also ate it up; it was gone within one hour. Sadly, this one is just not for me.

    The Lady of Shalott

At first, I smell mostly aquatics and sweet floral, but on my skin, this becomes almost totally a sweet white floral. It goes through cycles where I can barely smell it, and then the scent reappears--kind of odd but a nice surprise. It's a very light scent, so even though it's a bit "perfumey" for my taste, I find it to be very wearable. I'm not sure yet whether I'll get a big bottle, but I'll definitely continue to use my imp this summer!

    Aglaea

This is my first review! I got this as a frimp with an ebay purchase, and wasn't even considering buying it--but it's lovely! In the bottle: just peaches. Freshly applied: peaches, sweeter and juicier but not candylike. Dry: I smell juicy peaches, along with a bit of light, powdery musk. It actually reminds me of one of my favorite perfumes, Peche Musc from Sonoma Scent Studio, but it's sweeter and has a bit less musk. I can't really pick out the amber or myrtle, but that's ok. It's delicious smelling, and definitely different enough to be full bottle worthy. It is just gorgeous for spring or summer!
