I just finally decided to let this one and her sister go. From both of these blends I do get rose. I'm relatively sure my skin amps rose in general, which is one of the reasons I rarely purchase blends with it (and thus can't remember exactly why haha). This blend is very interesting, and the coconut is there in a Tiki Princess way. Similarly you can smell the vanilla as she peeks out on dry down. This is one of the best Rose blends I have ever smelled, but.. she's still rose!

I'm not an original Spanked person. In fact, it's one of the only super rare loves I've never hunted a bottle down for. All I remember was being a little confused and unsure as to why she was so loved. Honestly, I'm there all over again. I figured it was my young-nose back then... but now... mmm. I don't know where anyone gets cinnamon in this at all. In fact, I think cinnamon would have made her better! I do love spicy things and cardamom is a favorite...but it's totally overpowered by the leather. I also wish that I could smell the bourbon more. She's also disappearing on my skin and she's only been on for a few minutes. The patchouli is going to be the last scent left and though she may last long, that's not what I would have liked to smell like. Very faint at this point though, especially for patchouli. So my review is that if you like an organically (and not foodie) spicy leather, than she's all for you. My chemistry doesn't amp her in the ways I would like, but she's a sophisticated and strong blend in the bottle.

Celeste is the vanilla of XCDL13 and Elf, but it does have something in it that winds it down and makes it a bit more unisex, as said above. There is indeed some leather to her, and the vanilla is not as strong and powerful (and long lasting) as XCDL13. She is delightfully sugary though, and foody enough for this foodie!

I do get a dash of piney-ness from this, but it doesn't stay long when you put it on. (I hatez teh pine!) So that's great. I do get a dandelion-ness from it though, and this may be a huge hit. It has something similar to Creeping Mist and the Shadowy and the Sublime in there. And there is a celery scent in it like Beer from the Marsh Woman's Brewery. A lovely scent!

Sprayable Midway, yes... but there is a spicy-cakeness in this that literally, for me, is to utterly die for. Not sure if it is gingery or cinamony. Maybe both! Not sure if that is what the 'wood' did to it. But I'll take it! I will be hoarding this, and am so so so happy that an east coast event got this one and I can rub it all over and roll around in it =D!!! Utter love for this, as a foodie. I would have bought a life time supply if the boyfriend wasn't there! ha!

A green, salty aquatic. Turn your room into an underwater treasure trove! Love this scent. I love the comment above about standing on a pier, at night. That's a perfect image.

A beautiful vanilla and orchid. It smells totally antiseptic in the bottle, but once you spray it is an amazingly sophisticated vanilla... Think a more golden version of Antique Lace. Love it!

Definitely a morpher. It's very aquatic, but there is something under there that turns... very strange on my skin. Something I've never smelled before. It does start out peppery as stated above.

A very nice aquatic. It has a decent throw and it's very pleasant. There's a sweetness in there that is very feminine.. I like!

Aquatic floral..but... every time I really smell this I get something fruity too. There's something sweet in there that's ... actually kinda yummy. A very green scent, though. It's my second favorite (oil) from the show.

Amazing spicy, gingerbready, caramel cookies! This could possibly, and horribly, be a favorite! Great throw!

I sprayed this all over before guests showed up today. I have to say it starts smelling like a beautiful tea of some sort. I love it.

2010 is..to me...just like the original >.<;;; Smokey, strange floral. If you liked the original, you should be quite pleased.

There's a very earthy/herby celery note to this that I can't quite describe. Possibly some rosemarry. Very interesting Long lasting, too

I also never liked Antique Lace. It always smelled floraly in the bottle and wasn't so hot on. This however.. is the single note in AL that I did like...and amped up 10 times. A beautiful but somewhat synthetic smelling Vanilla. Best thing about it is that it lasts all day. This may be the first bottle I ever finish.

I have not gotten blue from this one yet. There is a point in drying where it is red hots to me... something like I think Three Witches was, if I remember correctly. But then when it is dried down it goes to a beautiful warm, super super spiceyness that I wanted Shub to be and never was (not even the original). Love this bottle more than.. well..any other.

Have a few to review so will start doing them as I test them. #17 foody, butterscotchy, something very Red Lantern in here... but then the wholesomeness turns to spun sugar and it is very much what I remember Midway to be. I put it on 6 hours ago and it is still going strong.... Kinda love this one. Thank you so so so so much to my 2 enablers. #24 in the vial: Pure buttery butterscotch. On: A creapy butterscotch with some spice to it. Very much like what is in 49 actually. #43 in the vial: A refreshing, slightly aquatic butterscotch #49 in the vial: vanilla gingerbread /purr Turns to a peppry spice. #94 in the vial: fruity but milk based candies #110 in the imp it's a green, sweet floral. On the skin it wafts a light lilac and goes a little babypowdery #400 light and creamy butterscotch, my skin chemistry eventually turns this into a spicy black pepper with sweet creaminess underneath. Very intriguing scent. #425 in the vial: sweet graveyard dirt #459 in the vial: boozy butterscotch from Red Lantern. On: the vanilla comes out and it is a beautiful creaminess. Not sure how long it will last though. #462 in the vial: grape and vanilla soda on the skin: TBA #500 in the vial: Peppery and herbal on the skin: TBA

Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting against a backdrop of Snake Oil, Dorian, and Doc Constantine! Totally saddened by this one. Smells like lovely Beaver Moon 05 in the bottle. Enough to be all right with getting rid of my bottle. However, after not even 5 minutes it totally disappears to nothing but... pencil shavings afterwards. A little bit like Intrigue. No pine, (for god how I hate pine) but nothing sweet left. Barely anything at all, actually. I just smell a bit earthy. Would have been all right if I could even get a hint of Dorian or Snake Oil, but the closest I get is the slightest bit of Doc.

Thanks for all the information. I hadn't thought that one was Pirate Moon. Makes sense though. But... I'm still confused about the snake oil aspect. ; ;

I know one of these is 'the Phoenix'... well, I Thought it was. (The one on the right.) One says 'OCT 31, 2007'. That one smells more like 'the Phoenix' than the one that Says the Phoenix. "Sea air, gunpowder, lime, salt-crusted wood, a splash of blood, and a dribble of Snake Oil." That one on the left definitely has Snake Oil, where the one on the right... I swear it smells like it doesn't. The one on the right is also clear liquid...so I can't imagine there is snake oil in there. At first this smells like the deep, almost noxious apples of the original Creepy. But when it dries down, the spices come out. Which is exactly what I was hoping. A must have for anyone into cinnamon and clove.

I just wanted to post, after I was thinking about this for a long time...but I figured out what this reminded me of. After dry down (on me, at the least) it smells exactly like Egged Mailbox. Very cool. The honey note is fierce. It's great.
