    Bordello

In the bottle: Very sweet and bubbly. The plum just jumps right out. On: Drydown reminded me of being young (strange because of the name) -- candy and scratch & sniff stickers. 2 hours: Pure fruit with a hint of wine. It's a very close scent. It doesn't fade so much as melt into your skin. There is something very 'pink' about this scent. I can't stop imagining that color. Verdict: I really like this one and couldn't stop smelling my wrists all day. Great for summer...def. investing in a bigger bottle.

    Depraved

In the bottle: Apricot? Patchouli??? Hell no. All I get is pure bitter apple. On: A lot more bitter with a sharp note reminicent of pepper. Reminds me of the stuff that's sprayed in the summer to get rid of mosquitoes. Verdict: I had to scrub this off about an hour later. It made me horribly dizzy. I really wanted to like this one when I read the description, but we just didn't get along. *Swap pile*

    Queen Mab

In the bottle: Darkly sweet, floral, and clean. Can't really pick out individual notes here. On: Dries to a sweet, powdery floral. Yet there's a hint of something spicy in there. Throw: There really isn't any throw - maybe more is needed to be applied, but whenever I moved, I'd catch a whiff. Verdict: After reading the description, I almost didn't even open it. Rose just doesn't get along with me, but now I'm glad I tried it. This is an absolutely gorgeous scent! I already want to wear it all the time. There's def. a bottle in my future, since this one fades rather quickly.

    Bloodlust

In the bottle: Strong and musky. And something else I can't figure out. *may be the dragon's blood, since I don't really know what that smells like.* On wet: Just like in the bottle. On dry: Morphs almost immediately into a very heady spiced patchouli. Reminds me of the temples I visited when I was younger. Throw: Not much at first, but it actually seemed to grow as the day went on. Verdict: This scent stayed on forever - through a shower and into the next day! Since summer is coming up, this one's going into hiding, but I can see wearing it on a fall/winter's night out. I'm thinking about making some candles out of it.

    Grog

In the bottle: Liquid butterscotch. Very sweet - almost too much. On wet: Still sweet, but now there's something starting to show up. Not quite sure what it is, but it's not a great combination. On dry: Morphed into a very heady blend. I can now smell notes of tobacco or smoke mixed with the butterscotch. A bit boozy. Maybe I just put too much on, cause it's a bit overpowering. 2 hours: Faded away enough to be plesant. More of the rum notes are coming through now. Throw: A little less than average. Verdict: It's ok. Not something I'd wear everyday, but def. not one to get rid of. I woke up the next morning and could still smell the butterscotch faintly.

    Debauchery

(Woo! First review!) In the bottle: When I openned the imp I promptly went into a sneezing fit, but I had accidently gotten some on my hand, so... Dry: I put some on my wrists and neck. That immediately proved to be too much, so I washed my wrists and I've got to say, I love this scent! Reminds me of downtown smoke shops with a slight undertone of burning wood, and something sweet, which I only catch a whiff of every now and then. Quite heady and lasting. Verdict: Definitely not something to wear daily and NOT a summer scent at all! Dirty, warm, and feral. Great for a chilly night out. As soon as the imp is gone, I'm buying a bottle. Update: About an hour later, my mom comes home and asks why the house smells like a "bar with a bordello in the back" haha. The throw on this stuff is incredible. Both my wrists and neck have went through a few scrubbings with lavender soap and the scent refuses to go away. But at least now it's standable - I was starting to get very dizzy. It's been almost four hours since I first posted this, and I now know that just a dab will do.

    I need more Cherry!

Ah...I used to have a pack of cherry cloves that I would only smoke once in a while - until someone stole them at a party. I don't feel the need to buy another pack, but I loved the smell. I'm pretty new to BPAL, so could anyone point me in the direction to any oils that would give me that scent without the cancer? Thanks, ~K
