  1. In imp: Sugar and Irish coffee. Smells exactly like a coffee shop/bakery I spent significant time in last fall.

Wet: Still smells like a really sweet Irish coffee. Which is pleasant I guess but too sweet for me.

Dry: the oak and dust tamped down the sweet. But it turned to... sunscreen? Within a few hours the scent faded completely from my skin.

I think this is a no-go for me. It was a frimp so I don't feel too bad about it. But I don't like sweet scents and the fact it turned into the smell of sunscreen didn't help.

  2. Dwarf

    In imp: weird stone-y.

Wet: Metallic but not in the way I'm used to (I work in a machine shop so I know the smell of metal and this is metal-adjacent)

    Dry: Sweaty socks

No. This is a definite no on me. The initial smells were weird but I was willing to ride them out and see if it morphed pleasantly. Now I smell like a gym bag.

  3. In imp: Sweet honey.

Wet: Definately honey. But with a sharp edge to it. Kind of reminds me of gold inlay in a sword blade. (If that makes any sense...)

Dry: Honey is now tempered with the musk and florals.

Not sure how I feel about this one. This was one of two freebie imps added to my order. I don't usually like sweeter smells, but the honey is a very intriguing note. The floral may be too strong for me. This one is going in the retest pile

  4. In the Imp Envy smells GREEN. I can't even pick out individual notes besides green.

Wet: The lavender comes to the forefront. The lime and mint chill in the background.

Dry: Lavender and lime soap? I smell very clean.

I kind of like this. Wish the mint showed up more but this isn't bad. I'm going to hold on to it for a while

  5. Mint julep in the imp and wet.

Dry: the sweetness comes forward. Not quite cloying but it might be too sweet for me but I'll try it again later.

As it fades the bourbon comes back. Still undecided...

Edit: After a retest I like this. It's a sweet masculine scent and reminds me of Pit Stop by Lovage It's a keeper. I may have to get a bottle eventually.

  6. First review! First IMP! So excited!

In the imp this scent is really odd. Kind of tangy.

Wet: the grapefruit and lemon are at the forefront. Not very appealing but not unappealing either..

Dry: ORCHID and teakwood, with hints of white tea. Never get the leather from this one which is disappointing since I love the smell of leather but for a floral scent I don't dislike it. It stuck around after I washed dishes and the other flavors are present but layered under the orchid.

I'm going to try this one again in a couple weeks and see if that makes a difference.
