  1. Zombi is the perfect graveyard scent. It is freshly turned, old earth, with old florals mixed in.

It is as if you were griefstricken, and threw yourself at the freshly covered grave. In your haste, the flowers that remained from the services were torn and smashed beneath you, the leaves ripped from the stems, releasing that sharp scent of greenery. As you rest your cheek on the gravestone, you can smell the age and mossiness of its neighbors as you weep a pool of tears.

That's what Zombi smells like to me. It makes me think of sorrow, but it's a lovely scent. :P

  2. Bottle: wow, this is a heady floral

Wet: ugh! The sweet pea does not agree with me at all. It's all sour floral on me, no beautiful sage, no warm tonka, just cloying sweet pea

Dry: nope. Not any better, a little musk, but this blend is all sweet pea on me

Yikes. Now I know. My skin chemistry does not agree with sweet pea, it just turns it into stinky, sour floral. Ick.

I must second Sonnett's review here. Sweet Pea hates me, and the feeling is mutual. It makes me nauseous, and sadly, Aeval never morphed out of the sweet pea.

    Off to the swap pile.

  3. OMG! This scent did not last even five minutes on me. I believe that I have a horrible aversion to sweet pea. All I could smell was screeching flowers, and it was not a pleasant smell.

Instant headache, leading to immediate washing off. :P

This one will be going to swaps, along with another imp with sweet pea, Aeval.

    *shudders*

  4. Nemesis, I think I love you!

I don't get any of the sharp fruitiness others have described. I get cypress and more cypress, with just a hint of patchouli and perhaps the ginger. It's a wonderful, dry, woody scent, that fortunately does not remind me of pencil shavings! :P

ETA: I can smell a bit of the floral peeking through now. I think my skin must amp the cypress up. But it's still very, very lovely.

  5. Judgement: a beautiful, dark, smoky blend on me. I love it even more than I thought that I would. I get something deliciously woody, perhaps oakmoss? And resiny. It has staying power too. I'll definitely be getting a bigger bottle of this.

    :P
