  1. i looooove this! It's the scent of childhood tea parties,in a bottle. The bergamot note is quite complimentary to the rose and carnation. i don't usually like 'food-y' scents, but this is great. i'll definitely be getting a big bottle of this.

  2. Honey and orange blossom are two of my favorite smells, and they've been paired excellently in this particular scent. Jezebel is sweet but sophisticated, and one application lasts all day. Which,in my experience,is pretty rare for anything with ornage blossom as one of the components. A yummy smell indeed.

  3. 'Hot',heavy, and incence-like,Black Lotus is true to its description. It smells exactly like this hippie store i used to buy blacklight posters and Nag Champa at when i was in highschool. Which is a good thing, because i always used to think,'If someone could put this smell in a bottle,i'd wear it."

  4. If a scent could be a season,Three Witches would be fall. What i mean is that it smells like a cool, windy autumn day on which one has spent the day indoors cooking spicy treats-chai tea and pumpkin pie come to mind, even though there's no tea or pumpkin listed in the description. The only problem that i had was that this scent *burned* when i applied it-too bad because the smell is oh-so-yummy.

  5. Mmmm, leather and musk. The smell of a well-worn and much-loved leather jacket. The scent is rather masculine (in my opinion) but i've worn it a few times anyhow. There's just something comforting about the bottled essence of leather jacket : P

  6. Reminiscent of hothouse blooms on a humid night, ripe, but touched with decay. Sweet honeysuckle and jasmine with a hint of lemon and spice.

i usually can't stand anything with jasmine in it (most of the time,it gives me a headache),but Old New Orleans is one of my favorite scents. Hot,sultry jasmine and spices,'touched with decay' just as promised. i like to put this one in my bathwater;it infuses the steam with a lovely,long-lasting smell that about makes me fall asleep in the tub. And that's a good thing : )

  7. Dried roses, rose leaf, Spanish moss, oakmoss and deep brown earth.

This smells exactly like it's described. A perfect rendition of the scent of dried roses, darkened by oakmoss. i like this perfume because it smells like the heart shaped box i keep my most treasured letters in. i put, like, half the sample bottle into a 7-day votive candle and it's made my bedroom smell *luxurious*.

  8. From Dark Elements:

The Dark Side of Earth: deep, brooding forest scents, including juniper and patchouli. The scent of upturned cemetery loam mingling with floral offerings to the dead.

Burial smells like dirt. i mean this in the most complementary of ways. Fresh, moist dirt, the kind one experiences out in the garden whilst planting new rosebushes/lily bulbs, etc. Dirt and a nice undertone of patchouli and fresh flowers. i want a *big* sized bottle of this one,too (i have only a sample, currently).

    EDIT: Added Lab's description --Shollin

  9. This *does* go on all medicinal-like,but after a little while the sweetness mellows out and you're left with the loverly smell of red wine and cloves. Still, a little bit overly sweet for me,but i got compliments when i wore it.

  10. By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla.

July 12, 2019, description update. The formula remains the same~ Our signature scent, our first perfume: deep, rich earthy notes swirled with vegetal musks, sugared vanilla bean, and dark spices.

i received this as an 'extra' with my first order of samples, and i fell in love with it the first time i smelled it! It's a dark, sweet, incence 'n vanilla smell, and i get TONS of compliments every time i wear it! Seriously,i have has so many people at clubs or wherever ask me,' what is that FABULOUS perfume you're wearing?!?' and i gladly pass along BPAL's web address : D

  11. This smells SO good. With its wet-grasses smell and gentle florals,it reminds me of a night-walk through my favorite old cemetery. The herbal frangrances keep it from being *too* sweet, and the smell lasts all day (or night) long. i'll definitely be ordering a bigger-than-just-a-sample-size of this one : )

  12. This smells *exactly* like absinthe. A deep, bitter, wormwood smell with herbal undertones and a hint of lemon. Sadly,i was allergic to something in the oil (i got a nasty rash on my neck where i applied it),so i passed it on to a friend who likes the smell of absinthe as much as i do,but doesn't have bizarre allergic reactions to so many things (like i do).

  13. Exquisitely melancholy. The background scent to an ancient exequies. Heavy, dark and floral: a blend of roses, with a touch of amber and musk.

i love, love,LOVE Black Rose! It reminds me of the haunting smell of roses inside the big, old, marble mausoleum at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. i always thought when i went there, "If they could bottle this smell,i'd buy it";i wear it all the time,i scent my snail-mail letters and even my dolls with it. i just can't say enough GOOD things about this scent!
