i just got an imp of this in my order that arrived today,and i'm glad i've got a 5ml of it on the way : ) If you've ever tried Rose Pastilles (a candy from France),that is mainly what this smells of:super-sweet,sugar-coated roses. What icing roses on a birthday or wedding cake would smell like if they were a real,live flower. i don't smell a grass note at all;for some reason,i'm also smelling pink champagne. Candy roses and pink champagne...this is great!

This is scented fabulously,and works well for its intended purpose. Helping Hand smells like dark-chocolate-covered mint fondant candies,some type of very strong liquor (i'm guessing it's rum,but i'm not quite sure),and an old-timey cigar shop (think sweet,heady tobacco-not stale old cigarette smoke or anything!). i love,love,LOVE the smell of this one,and it's too bad that it's not available as a catalog scent,cos there's just nothing like it anywhere. (the "Helping Hand" oils i've purchased in the past have,for the most part,favored Pine-Sol) i'm guessing that it may contain catnip as well,because when i've worn it as a perfume,my kitten went CRAZY with her purring and snuggling and wanting to be carried around like a baby 10 out of 10. Perfect.

This is GORGEOUS !!! i would have purchased at least an imp of this because of the name alone,but i' so glad i ordered a bottle...it is PERFECTION! The cactus flower is what stands out to me-bold,sweet,and juicy,almost more like cactus-flower candy than actual cactus flowers. Which is fine by me,because i LOVE cactus-flower candy. Behind the cactus flowers is the scent of a bouquet of velvety,deep-red roses...'lovers' roses',indeed. The out come the chrysanthemums...i've always wanted a perfume with chrysanthemum notes that have staying power,and this is it! Santa Muerte is like the hopelessly romantic sister of Dia de los Muertos...a fabulously warm,'autumn' scent,but all dolled up with roses as well...i can't rave enough about this scent...i can see my bottle of this being used up VERY quickly!

i originally purchased an imp of this to put in a 7-day candle. i don't usually wear the oils that i use in candles,but this is just so lovely as a perfume as well! Someone already mentioned 'fairy dust'-that's a pretty apt description. i picture little cartoony hummingbirds flying all around me when i wear this. It's not a heavy rose floral at all (at least,not on me)...it's more like a perfume i had when i was little,i think it was a Barbie perfume (of all things!). i am off to buy a big bottle of this momentarily!

On me,this is a deep,dark vanilla bean scent,with a hint of lemongrass,sweetgrass,and various other herbs that i can't seem to pick out. This is more Snake Oil than Snake Oil (if that makes any sense...). i have absolutely *adored* all the Lab's voodoo blends that i've tried,so much that i will never again purchase that fake,chemical-scented crap that is sold as 'authentic'.

i know this isn't *supposed* to be worn as a perfume,but it's so fabulous,i'm wearing it anyways! (hehheh i got an imp of it for it's intended purpose,and that said "$#@! it,they don't deserve me wasting my time on them" and decided to apply it to myself rather than a candle form the cemetery.) But anyways...yeah...i LOVE this stuff. First off,it's such a pretty color. Other people reviewing it said it's 'sophisticated',but i don't get that impression...to me it's the smell of childhood temper-tantrums,bottled up for your sniffing pleasure : D The notes that i pick up are:smoke,violets,and,for some strange reason,grape Otter Pops!!! Yes!!! i am getting a big bottle of this in my next order!!!

This smells *so* good. It's a soft,calming scent,but in a different way than Water of Notre Dame. Maybe it's subliminally suggested to me because of the name,but i'm reminded of the baby birds i've found over the years (and usually successfully taken care of)...soft...delicate...pretty. Sweet and powdery. i <3 Swallow's Blood.

i got this as a freebie in my last order,and was excited to try it,as i love the smell of blackcurrant. It smelled absoulutely DIVINE upon first application-heady,intoxicated,not 'fruity' in the usual sense. But as the day wore on,it turned sour on me,making me think of the terrible smell of day-old spilled wine from a party the night before *damn my weird body chemistry!*,and caused me to get a massive headache i ended up cutting my day short to go home to wash it off. Too bad,because i really,really liked it at first.

Water of Notre Dame works for me;so does Alice...it just plain makes me happy,what with its long-lost-childhood scents.

Another fabulous scent that totally fits the concept that goes with it...smelling this,i am transported back to the big,old,candles-and-statues-filled churches that i visited in Puerto Rico many years ago. The lily of the valley doesn't show up at all on me (wheich is a good thing,as lily of the valley usually gives me a terrible headache);the notes i pick out are a churchy incence and faded,powdery roses. This is a more feminine version of Cathedral. i LOVE it.

i got this as an extra imp in my last order. It's niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! Smoky leather with just a hint of (opium?) incence. It's one of those scents that really fits the description on the Lab page...i totally think 'black mass' and 'decadence' when i smell it. The only bad part (i'm sorry to say) is that i had to keep reapplying it throughout the day.

This smells like cinnamon and hot,wet flowers....sort of like Old New Orleans mixed with Love Me. It didn't have much staying power,though-i had to reapply it several times over the course of the day.

This didn't last very long on me,but it was good while it lasted. It smells like a combination of marzipan and sweet herbs...very pretty. However i don't know if it does what it says,as i just wore it around the house lol.

Simply gorgeous,and,yes,very calming and relaxing. Someone else said 'the color of Mary's robes'...that's the impression that i get as well. And it's long-lasting (on me,anyways);i applied some over 8 hours ago and it's still quite strong.

Black Lotus...to me,it smells like the shop i used to buy incence and blacklight posters in (a million years ago),and there's no patchouli in it : )

i got this one in a swap,and i'm liking it. It smells (to me,anyways) like cherry cigars and opium. Lovely!

my wish list just doubled in size.... Roadhouse sounds SO cool! And Black Dahlia...i have a Black Dahlia doll that i made;she now is commanding me to purchase perfume....

i guess i have weird body chemistry...this smelled exactly like Play-Doh on me not like honey,amber,or anything else.

This is great,a strong Bay Rum that lasts all day. Who cares that it's supposed to be a guys' fragrance? i want a big bottle of this one!

i got an imp's ear of this one because i like the name (i have a huge painting of Ophelia on my bedroom wall) and because stargazer lilies are my favorite flower. Unfortunately,i couldn't smell them at all in this oil : < all that came across to me was a faint rose and a 'watery' smell. Too bad,because i really wanted to like it.

i just got this one in a swap...and it's another scent that matches the idea perfectly...smelling this,i could easily picture the Caterpillar perched haughtily on his mushroom demanding to know,WHO are you?" A very complex scent that matures over the time that it's worn;i couldn't pick out the moss scents first off,but in awhile there they were,along with a heady incence smell. Very nice indeed!
