In the imp: incense, leather, and greenery. I can smell the basil and maybe some bay.
On skin: Smells like a warmer version of what it smelled like in the imp. After a while a red wine scent comes in. It isn't in the list of notes - but whatever it is it goes well with the other scents. Making it sweeter and less SRS BIZNESS.
It mellows down into a incense-y, leather-y wood mix.
This is a beautiful scent that embodies strength for me. Will really enjoy using this.

In the imp: Tea and lemon with a definite leather note. This feels very sophisticated for a lemon scent.
On the skin: Reacts with my skin and turns chemical-y on me. Smells like lemon pledge or some other cleaner. Guess this is getting swapped.
I'm a bit disappointed - I was looking forward to this one. Hopefully, since so many people like it, it will find a good home.

In the Imp: Marine aquatic with a hint of woods underneath that. Also sort of a chemical scent. Hope it goes away. :/
On Skin
Wet: The chemical scent goes away very fast! Marine note predominates - but has a bit of a sweet edge. Woods underneath that. I can especially smell the juniper.
After a while: A warm skin scent shows up. Also I can start smelling the sage. But the marine/woods smell is still there.
This doesn't change very much over time - for me.
This is a wonderful Marine scent. Definitely keeping it!

In the Imp: Honeydew - with a little bit of something floral and some other notes (incense, salt) Nice, if a bit complicated.
On Skin
Wet: Honeydew - almost completely honeydew. Very nice, ripe honeydew. (With a bit of other stuff far in the background.)
After a bit: Getting some really sweet amber/musk with incense and desert soil in the background.
After a long while: Incense with a bit of the honeydew, amber, and desert soil mixed in.
Overall... a very sweet scent but complicated. There's a lot of different notes running around that seem "weird" together. Almost overwhelming, but in a good way.
And did I mention - it's Sweet?
EDIT: I know what else it reminds me of - For those of you who live where Rock Trumpets grow. It does a good impression of a Rock Trumpet. That same rich, ripe fruit flower smell. Perfect for attracting nectar feeders in the dark.

The Apothecary - it doesn't have much soil to it - but it's the closest thing to a thriving herb garden besides actually going outside and taking a big sniff of mine. It has the scent of fresh growing things and also dried herbs.
It's also GC so you can get an imp.
