  1. Snow White's younger sister. Fresh on my wrists, it is almost too cute/young a scent, but I love how it smells after an hour or so of wear. Very subtle, bit powdery, delicate scent.

By the way, I do not get any mint or almond as some of the others did ;) I guess it's all down to skin chemistry!

  2. So far i have tried Thalia which smelled more of honey and beeswax on me and Marotte is a very interesting one, pear and metal? Haven't tried Titania yet because of the white musk which is a note of death for me thanks to the Body Shop's White Musk. But Bpal has a tendency to surprise, will definitely put Titania on my wishlist.

I love pear and tried Titania but I didn't get ANY pear there :( On me it was just a relatively boring, very childlike scent :(

  3. In the bottle it smells like delicious frosty juicy pears. Fresh on the skin it smells like one of my favourite teas "Perfectly White Pear" by Celestial Seasonings, with a dollop of honey. On dry-down the honey becomes more prominent. I like this scent lot, but would have preferred the honey note to be a bit less prominent.

  4. LOVE this :wub2:

Gentle creamy tea scent with refreshing citrus in the foreground. My favourite "fresh" BPAL scent so far. I *love* citrussy blends but unfortunately they fade very quickly on me. Slathering it is

  5. On me, the citrus and tea are nowhere to be sniffed. What remains is a mild (milky), yet spicy (ginger) and warm scent. Which is not my "cup of tea", unfortunately. I prefer Shanghai and Baobhan Sith for freshness and Dorian for sweetness.

  6. I am new to BPAL and my first love was Snow White. I obtained a decant (2011 version) of Pink Snowballs recently and have to say I looooove it :wub2: It does remind me of Snow White but is a little more subtle (less sweet) and has roses on top. The rose note quickly fades to a soft hint of rose. It has low throw on me, but that is fine, I am not always in the mood for in-your-face kind of perfume. I think I will have to find a bottle of this one... :yum:

  7. I LOVE this :wub2: Thanks again to Oceandreamer001 for frimping me this one :)

The drydown is the same as the opening scent only softer. To me, this smells very fresh and juicy, like fruit but less sweet or tart (depending on the fruit). It is a non-sweet version of what I EXPECTED Titania to smell like, if that makes sense ;)

(Half an hour after applying it smelled a bit more herby and just a little bit soapy, but it quickly morphed into a soft fresh scent.)

  8. Based on the description, I thought I would really like this one. I love the scent of grapes and pear, and generally like "light" perfumes. However, on me it only smells of rose musk. I find this a very childlike scent. Not a keeper.

  9. I like this one a lot, much more than I had expected. Words that come to mind: delicately sweet, blossoms, English, gentle. This is what commercial perfumes SHOULD have smelled like. It has a hint of rose, but to me it is not a sharp or dominant rose. Very balanced scent, well done.

  10. When just applied to the skin: fresh, heady, christmassy

10 mins later: musky, bit masculine, where did the citrus go?, sweet

couple of hours later: softly sweet, musky

I had hoped for a bit more freshness :/
