  1. In the imp: Someone has cleaned the dentist's office with extra-strength Pine-sol.

Wet: Immediately after putting it on my guy definitely smelled, uh, sanitized. But after about three minutes the freshening elements all went away and he just smelled woodsy.

Dry: It didn't really change much. It was very dry and not sweet in any way. I had to get very close to smell it at all, but then again he puts on a very modest amount when he tries these scents. He liked it!

  2. I originally bought this for my boyfriend to try - but it smelled so sweet on him that I wondered if it might be better on me. In the imp I could smell the herbs behind the shea, but on my skin they sort of melded with the sweetness. I was told by someone at work that it smelled "very sophisticated." I worry that this is code for " you smell like the inside of a Vogue magazine" so I am going to take it for another test run later and see what happens. It lasted about six hours on my skin and the throw was strong enough that I could smell it without bringing my wrist right up against my nose. I think anyone wondering about this scent should definitely try it out just for the wonderful and unique smell in the imp/bottle.

  3. In the imp it smelled like flowers and cream. I was prepared to love it...and the moment it came in contact with my skin it became baby powder. Extremely strong baby powder. I waited about half an hour for it to reconsider but it didn't budge. Once I've tried more scents I'll hopefully figure out what elements cause that on me!

  4. I really enjoyed this in the bottle - tart and sweet, but not too much like candy. On my skin it smelled sour, like an unripe orange peel. About ten minutes later it turned into baby powder. I was prepared to love this one but it wasn't meant to be!

  5. In the imp: boozey fruit

Wet: I smell very strongly of fruit snacks for about half an hour or more.

Dry: The top note is gone and now it smells really pleasant. I'm guessing it's the orris and amber. It stays pretty close to the skin but lasts for hours.

I do really like the dry down but I'm not sure if I want to endure the PURPLEness of it in the beginning.
