  1. Hmmm...about the only thing my nose is getting from this one is baby powder o.O with a little bit of sweetness underneath it (not sure what that is), if I put my nose really close to my hand. This one doesn't do anything for me. To the swap you go!

  2. *Does happy Snoppy dance.* Super love this! A.) Because it wolf themed <3. B.) For me this is a slightly spicer version of Dragon's Milk (sure it has something to do with Dragon's Blood.). Currently have a frimp of this, but will probably end up getting a bottle XD.

  3. All I get out of this is a black licorice smell and I'm soooooo not a fan of it. Rather disappointed since there is cherry blossom (major love!) in this, but I got none of it :(. To the swap it goes!

  4. Will start off by saying this is not a bad scent at all, but there is just something about it that doesn't click right with me. Really wish I knew my notes better. Can definitely smell patchouli, but there is some floral in there that helps tone it down a little. Again a nice scent, just not feeling it. Maybe I'll try again later.

  5. Not sure if this is the right place to ask or if it has possibly been answered already o.o;, but I was wondering the best method of cleaning wandcaps after your doing using it on one scent (finishing off the bottle of course ^_~) and wish to use it on another? Or is it best to order more wandcaps?

P.S: So thankful I found this thread. Now I know how to properly test/apply a bottle with a q-tip <333.

I've used rubbing alcohol to clean off wand caps from used bottles. I usually let it soak for about 10 minutes and the get in there with q tips to ensure all of the remaining oil is completley removed. I'll then pour a little more rubbing alcohol over it and rinse it really well with water and dry it with a paper towel. If the wand cap still smells like the bottle it was in I'll do this process over until it's completely clean and scent free. Once it's clean I usually let it dry over night before putting it in the new bottle :)

    Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! This is a great help :).

  6. Definitely get the fruityness from Forbidden Fruit which is normally death for me since most of the fruity scents have given me headaches thus far, but I think it might be the lotus or amber that helps keep this one from being washed off right away. Never did get the bubblegum stage that I read a lot about here. For me Forbidden Fruit turned out to be a light florally citrus scent. Not bad, but not really me.

  8. Got this as a frimp in a recent order. Sorely disappointed T_T! Thought I would be able to handle the sweetness of Hollywood Babylon due to the red musk, but noooooo my skin chemistry decided to make this super sweet on me. Eeek! I can feel a headache coming on. *Goes to wash hands off.*

Anyone that loves fruity scents will adore this. Just sad that I couldn't :(.

  9. Bought a lovely bottle of Moon of Small Spirits from stellans un-sniffed. Oh so very glad that I did. Received the package today and couldn't resist trying this on right away.

First off I don't know all the notes listed for this blend, but I can definitely smell sage, cedar, and pine. Thought for a second this was going to go all pine-sol on me but I was so wrong. Moon of Small Spirits is so beautiful! With dry down this reminds me of an abnormally warm day in winter where you have enough time to cut the grass before a fresh bout of snow falls on the same day. Pure love! Can't stop sniffing my wrist <3333.

Edit 1/27: Got my first BPAL compliment wearing this today :D! :wub2:

  10. Sooo...I think my body chemistry messed with Athens :(. The whole time I got a churchy incense smell. Coming from the myrrh? Took me back to mass on Christmas Eve. Not a bad scent, but just not for me.

  11. Got this in an imp.

Hmmm, not sure what to think of this one. When first put on I get a whole lot of jasmine, which is okay but not my favorite. Then on dry down this turns into soapy rose on me. Kind of reminds me of my grandma. Fond memories, but not something I would want to wear often.

  12. Snow White 2011 Version

Utter and total love! Snow White was my first BPAL purchase and it did not disappoint. On me I get creamy vanilla with a subtle hit of flowers. Not sure what night-blooming flowers are really. Snow White stays close to the body, which I love since I'm not a huge fan of heavy throw that knocks people for a loop as you walk by, lol. Find myself sniffing my wrist often when wearing this. Must look like a crazy person to anyone that is watching :). I live in a rather 'snowy' state and Snow White reminds one of those days where the snow is fresh and lightly falling. Love it! So glad I bought a back up bottle of this beauty.

  13. Dragon Blood and amber...yes! One of my favorite incenses is this and that is what Blood Amber delivers. Very warm and sensual. When feeling sassy and sexy this is one of the scents I'll reach for. A little goes a long way. Might have to spring for a big bottle.

  14. Oh how I really wanted to like this scent, but for me I get a whole lot of rose geranium and it's not doing great things for my brain. Night Raven is currently giving me a headache...boo :cry2:. Off to the swap pile you go my sweet.

  15. Hello all! Still being fairly new when it comes to the lovely scents of BPAL I wanted to ask you all which scents you think would either blend well with or compare to Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom. Want to be able to layer a scent over the lotion without it getting lost or clashing with it.

Here are the notes I found that are in B&B Japanese Cherry Blossom:

Top Notes: Asian Pear, Fuji Apple

Middle Notes: Japanese Cherry Blossom, Butterfly Lily, Kyoto Rose, Mimosa Petals, Hedione

Base Notes: Vanilla Rice, Imperial Amber, Silk Musk, Cinnamon Incense, Himalayan Cedarwood, Creamy Sandalwood

I find that I adore woody, floral, and warm spicy scents. Any and all suggestion would be greatly loved :)!

  16. Oooooooooh! I so wanted to like Titania since it is my middle name and I <3 all things fae XD. Alas I couldn't even wear it long enough to enjoy the scent. Don't know what note it is, but Titania gave me a raging headache as soon as I sniffed it. Had to wash it off right away. Damn sniffer! *Shakes fist at nose.* Ended up giving this beauty away to a friend who can wear it without any issue. :cry2:

  17. Eternally evolving, blooming in power and grace: acorns, oak leaves, oak bark, and oak sap rising through a mist of traditional lunar oils.

When I first got this I wasn't to sure if I liked this, but I've come to adore Oak moon. Completely agree that this is a woody and subtle sweet scent. Oak moon starts out strong and heavy on the oak wood side, but after about 30 minutes (for me) this settles down to a lovely warm vanilla. Beautiful scent .

  18. Normally not one to write reviews, but this lunacy is so worth saying something about. I don't know how to pick out notes or rightly know what I'm smelling, so I'll tell you how it made me feel. To me this is definitely a warm, inviting, and amazing scent. With this scent I can imagine curling up next to a sleeping bear on a cold night to keep warm. So freaking happy that I bought a bottle of this.

As a side note I layered this over Snow White (2011 version)...pure heaven :wub2:
