  1. It started out mildly sweet and fruity then after about 10 minutes it became pure fig. It's very sharp and sweet. I loved the fig in Eden but as a stand alone fig may be too much. Don't think I'll be wearing this again.

  2. Initally not very impressive. It's definitely almond (whoever said cherry chapstick was right on the money) but after an half hour the almond fades a bit. I smell more vanilla which softens and strengthens the scent but most of all I get pepper. Not sneeze inducing but it's peppery and I love it. It seems to unique and strong, I feel like a femme fatale everytime I wear it.

However, I haven't experienced any chance in my prosperity. I like the scent so I'll keep a vial around but more money would have been nice too.

  3. My favorite scent and currently my only 10ml bottle! The imp I started with is a little different from the bottle but the difference works out.

My bottle smells of toasted coconut and the coconut remains the top note until it dries. Then it fades and is replaced by a piercing sharp sweetness which I assume is the fig. This is the note I'm addicted to. This sweetness isn't cloying but it isn't soft. It also stays constant throughout wear.

The original imp is the same as this but without any coconut. None at all. I don't mind the coconut in the bottle since it fades quickly but I assume it'll disappear as the oil ages.

  4. It started minty and then was a very strong black licorice (which fades quickly). As it dries the mint reappears and I smell berries but not syrupy sweet. After about an hour the mint fades and it's just the soft berry. Not bad but after it's gone I barely remember it. Once the licorice faded the scent was very subtle. Too subtle for me but still pretty.

  5. This was a fairly simple scent for me. In the vial it was minty and herbal. Very pretty. On my skin the herbal fades and the anise (black licorice for me) comes out strongly.

Once it dries it's all anise with barely any mint.

I like it but I'm not in love with it. The herbal/minty beginning is my favorite part and that ends quickly.

  6. After years of wearing various vanilla scents I tried to resist this but it's too delicious. In the vial it's creamy but mostly cherry which I love. On skin it gets creamier and makes me hungry. If anybody goes to the Rita's this is the scent of their Cherry gelato (a mixture of cherry ice and vanilla custard). I find this scent both comfortable and exciting (the whole gelato connection).

After about an hour the vanilla really comes out. However, it's not a sweet sugared vanilla. It's a strong mature scent which I enjoyed. Very powerful but fortunately I like vanilla. I felt bad for my sister who had to share a car with me (I'd accidently slathered it on before leaving) but she didn't complain.

Once I get the vial half empty I'll decide if I want a bottle. I like the cherry vanilla but the strong vanilla at the end is a bit much for me.

  7. In the vial all I got was cherries. On skin I still get cherries but then I smelled chocolate as well. Not milk chocolate but something closer to dark. As it dried it reminded me of cherries and chocolate licquor (is there such a thing?). In the end it was cherry menthol.

As much as I like cherries this was too strong and syrup sweet for me. Furthermore, I'm not a big fan of chocolate (especially chocolate covered cherries). I'll be passing this one on.

  8. I bought this to attract prestige, etc... but I can't say if it works in this regard. I'm afraid to wear this to work.

In the vial I smell ripe open berries. Not cloying and sweet, just fresh. Wet on my wrist it smells more like a wine cooler. It's not heavily alcoholic but definitely there. Not a bad scent but not appropriate for my work.

As it dries the grape smell fades a bit and it becomes more herbal. Clean and clear. However the wine is beneath it, subtle but still there.

Besides my fear of being mistaken for drunk on the job I'm not certain I like this scent. I like herbals but this may be too soft for me. I'll keep the vial but doubt I'll buy the bottle or another vial.

  9. I got this as a freebie but it was already on my wishlist. This talk of almonds got me excited but the hints of rose makes me nervous. I'm not into roses. However, I'm definitely willing to try. I was prepared to try out a floral scent (just not me) but then I got something very different.

In the vial and wet on skin this smells like carrots. Not moldy or bad carrots, definitely fresh, clean, and sweet but still carrots. It was proud and clear but not what I wanted. I tried it three times on three different days and got the same results.

Then as it dries the carrots leave completely and I'm left with roses. Normally rose scents overwhelm me but this stayed subtle. I'll even say it was a pretty scent. If I had to wear a rose scent then this would be it.

I think my sister (who loves roses) would appreciate this much more than me.

  10. I bought this imp with the hope of a nice almond/cherry fragrance. However, this was too sweet. Both in the vial and on my wrist it was definitely cherry but more like the cloying jarred cherries. It was also a fairly strong scent. Normally this is a good quality but with the sweetness it was just too much.

Then after about 10 minutes the whole thing seemed to pickle! Suddenly I was surrounded by the smell of olives and it was making me nauseous. This lasted only a few minutes and then it became powdery.

I won't be getting this but I passed it on to a friend. We can't both have such horrible body chemistry.

  11. I don't get any cherries in this. In the vial and on skin I get a strong piercing spicy scent (sorry I'm not good with notes). I'm not very familiar with florals, except rose, so this could be floral. But it isn't subtle or overly feminine.

However, this reminds me of a hair dressing I used as a child and it's hard for me to be objective. It could be a nice smell but I really can't stand that dressing.
