  1. Hades has a unique dark, sharp herbal sweetness to it that really makes it stand out among the other BPAL scents.

It warms to a rich earthy scent with a sexy spiceyness. There is also a thick firey burnt herb note in the background.

I love this blend. Deffinately not for everyday wear, but certainly a keeper!

  2. Wow, this really is warm and thick like blood.

Spicey cloves and sweet cherries! Very pretty. My fiance *loves* this blend on me and compliments it everytime I wear it out.

Excellent throw too, I can smell a tiny dab on my wirst for hours!

  3. I *really* wanted to love this blend, but sadly the jasmine note overpowers everything else.

I get a bit of coffee and vanilla in the background, but nothing else.

My imp is slightly aged, so maybe that's the reason for the strong florals?!?

  4. This scent really caught my attention at the Yule update... leather and tobacco :P

H.Drosselmeyer is SO damn sexy wet out of the bottle.

Sadly, the tobacco note isn't nearly as rich as I wish it was, and it is slightly overpowered by a cherry/woodshavings note.

The leather note is rich and warm like curling up on old leather sofa before a roaring fire. :D

This blend faded quickly to a sweet leather/cherry scent, but still very pretty.

  5. Snow Bunny! *squee* :P

The name almost scared me away, but I'm SO glad I snagged a bottle. This is sweet and fresh.

I've never seen snow before (grew up in Florida and Louisiana) but this is what I imagine a pine forest smells like after a light snowfall. :D

There is a playful candy-like sweetness that accents the piney-fresh note to perfection!

So far, my favorite Yule blend! *and the label is too cute*

  6. Wow. This was a shocker for me. I was expecting something sharp and feral, but instead this is GORGEOUS, clean and rich.

On me, it turns to a soapy-masculine musk, but on my fiance, it's heavenly :P

    Warm, rich manly musk!

  7. This is pure lemon zest, like Emballming Fluid at first. Gradually it settles down, and a sweet lavender undertone takes over.

There is a richness to this blend that *must* be leather, but I'm so used to smelling it in rich/spicey blends like Perversion and Whip that it doesn't strike me as a leather note in Cassanova.

This is a really unique blend, but it fades quickly.

  8. Rich creamy cafe au lait... and pipe tobacco. Reminds me of late night study sessions, cramming for exams during college.

Very unique BPAL. Glad I have snagged a bottle, but this is rarely a blend I wear. Very rich and creamy.

    ADDED 1/7/07:

I really wanted to like this scent. It starts out like warm buttery hazelnut coffee, but quickly turns sour smelling on my skin.

As a room scent, it makes my house smell like I'm brewing expresso... it's nice, but I'd rather make real coffee.

I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about. :P

  9. Lucy's Kiss smells like cheap fake roses on my skin.

No victorian spices... just straight up stinky roses. With BPAL bends, rose is really hit-or-miss for me... this is a HUGE miss.

After 5 minutes this smells like urine and rose petals. *ewww*

  10. A thin, sinuous, creeping chill, the scent of glee-filled undeath: white iris, osmanthus, Calla lily, tomb-crawling ivy and a coffin spray of gladiolus, lisianthus and delphinium.

The Ghost is very light. It faded within minutes, leaving an unpleasant saopy smell on my skin.
Before it faded it was a lovely, complex floral... I couldn't stop smelling my wrist the entire time I had it on. I loved it, I wanted it to last... but sadly, like a ghost, it was fleeting.

Very pretty, just wish it had better wearing potential.

  11. Tempest has captured my favorite part of a rainy day... the crisp, clean freshness a heavy rainstorm brings during the sping months.

This is the smell of playing in rainpuddles, or running though a forrest during a light, steady rain..

Clean, fresh and gorgeous! I love this scent.

  12. This scent can only be described as laying naked with your lover on a sheepskin rug before a roaring fire in an old cabin in the heart of an ancient forrest in the middle of winter.

The smell of warm fur rug, a rustic wooden cabin and warm sexual musk with a hint of vanilla...

*hugs bottle* My favorite Lunar Oil, next to Blood Moon.

  13. Visions of smeared candy red lipstick, torn fishnet and searching, sunken eyes. The scent of an all-nighter: cognac, tobacco flower, dark musk, black rose and clove.

Formula 54 has captured the lustful scent I love so much from Perversion and amped it up into a really sophisticated, uber feminine blend.

The rich, slightly stale clove cigarette smoke takes me back to my wild days early in college. Formula 54 smells like "sex and candy"...Sweet Cherry blowpops, the lingering smell of cloves and passionate-throw-me-down-and-fuck-me sex. :P

I love this blend, I wish I could wear it more often, but it's an LE... I use my little bottle like it's made from liquid gold- I never wanna run out.

  14. Oh WOW... this is the yummiest BPAL ever.

Cupcakes and *sweet* vanilla cream cheese frosting. :P

I tried a tiny dab on my wrist the morning I got my little imp in the mail. Hours later I found myself buying the ingredients to make cupcakes as I bought my weekely groceries without even realizing why I craved them...

I had been fantasizing about baking the delicious BPAL cupcakes I had smelled all day on my wrist.

BEWARE *dangerous* BPAL- This scent will make you crave sweets! Wear it only when you are prepared to spend hours in the kitchen baking yummy treats for friends and family ....

  15. I'm at loss on this blend...

I associate aquatic notes with light blends like The Hamptons... however Dragon's tears has me confused.

The rich resiny sweetness overpowers just about every other note in this blend. Eventually a light, ocean breeze note comes to the surface... but it's fleeting and faint.

This blend faded quickly on my skin. Within 30 min, it was gone.

  16. Do you believe in love at first sniff?

My love for Dragon's Heart was instant!

The sweet resiny dragons blood note blended with the sticky fruity tartness of currants and figs. :P

I've worn this out several times, and have recieved more compliments on this blend than any other BPAL scent. Mostly compliments from random guys at parties or at work. They all claim it smells like cherries, in a sexy way.

Deffinately another BIG Ars Draconis Bottle

  17. My FAVORITE Ars Draconis blend!

The 5 musks are blended to perfection. I can pick out black musk and Egyptian musk as the two most prominant note on my skin.

The rich sweet resiny dragons blood keeps the musks for getting "out of control" and overly masculine.

Very sensual blend! Lasts for hours too (a HUGE plus when I pick scents)!

    Deffinately a BIG bottle scent!

  18. Warm leather, tobacco and dragon's blood. Damn this is good.

BPAL leather and tobacco notes LOVE my skin, but Dragons blood is hit or miss with me.

This is deffinately a HIT! Warm, sweet, spicey and rich. Sadly it disappears far too fast for my taste. Within 45minutes, it was undetecable :P
