  1. Normally florals and I DO NOT get along, but then Beatrice came along...

She's lovely, feminine, floral, spicey and sweet. I'm deffinately going to have to chase down a bottle of this.

Beatrice is so clean, refreshing and delicate I could wear it every day.

  2. First impression: A glass of sweet, sweet red wine. I love it already.

As it dries, a hint of musk is detectable. After 30 minutes, the wine is still strong and delicious smelling with traces of musk and warm leather. It's so feminine with a stong sexual energy.

Deffinately getting a bottle. *adds Wanda to x-mas list*

  3. This scent is DELICIOUS.

Cotton candy and funnel cakes *drool*

It's really has some staying power too! Applied this morning and it's still going strong. Softens to a nice vanilla cake scent with just a hint of extra sweetness.

  4. First impression- fruit salad with extra mango- yumm-

On the skin- Fruit disapeared once dry, replaced by flowers :P, powder and ?black pepper? ... oh my...

Way to floral for me :D

    ADDED Nov. 11:

I agree with the above discription... fruity cow poop. *eww*

I'm getting my BS in animal science and spend a good bit of time at the University farm... Mi-Go smells like someone making fruit salad on a Dairy Farm!

Mango and orange notes mixed with musty, half-digested hay notes. Very unsettling.

I do love the squishy brain though... it's too cute.

This one is off to the swap pile with it's cousin, Numb.

  5. First Impression: YIKES... Baby powder and old lady... hell of a combination.

Thankfully the baby powder disapeared, but the old lady perfume smell is still there.

After about 30 minutes, it's actually quite nice. It mellows out to a sweet floral violet scent...

Gonna need to try this one a few more times... This is the first BPAL I've tried that I'm not sure if I like or not.

  6. I think I found my scent... Bastet smells gorgeous.

It's so clean, light and feminine. The egyptian musk is heavenly and the amber is such a warm, comforting smell.

I need to get a big bottle now.

  7. I love Perversion, so I thought Snake Oil would be another gem in my BPAL collection.

First impression: too sweet. Not my style, but I tried a drop anyway. After a few minutes, Snake Oil proved my first impressions wrong and matured into a deliciously softer version of my beloved Perversion. Yumm...

    Deffinately a keeper!

  8. This is so far my favorite BPAL scent.

It's so warm and delicious on my skin. The tobacco leaf and sweet vanilla-like tonka fragrance last for hours. Deffiantely the most staying-power of anything I've tried.

I don't pick up the chardonay from the discription, but I do smell something similar to opium poppies, giving Perversion a sweet, seductive and very arousing mix.

    I LOVE this scent.

  9. First impression: VERY Medicinal... I didn't think I'd like it at all.

Tested a tiny drop from my imp and let it dry...

After a few moments, wow... tobacco leaf and opium poppies. The opium becomes stronger the longer I have it on. It's very nice, but too heavy for everyday wear. There is also a slight hint of baby powder - which usually can't stand, but this is nice-

  10. First impression: Overkill of DAFFODILS. reminds me off springtime. Clean and very floral. Florals aren't really my "thing", but this is very pretty.

On the skin: The floral overkill mellows to a nice fresh flowery tulip smell. Over 2 hours since I tested it, and it's still powerful from just a little dab.

I like it, but I don't think it's something I would wear more than once or twice. It's something I can see wearing to a springtime wedding... oh well.

  11. First impression: Slightly floral. Sugary, but in a good way. I like it.

On the skin: Just keeps getting better as the fragrance warms and opens up. A little citrusy- lime or unripe orange, clean, deliciously vanilla but not in a food way... more like a vanilla orchid flower way.

I LOVE THIS scent... deffinatly one for the bottle list. Only one down side- this scent was undetecible on me in less than 30 min. :P

  12. First impression: Not good. I thought I'd love this one, since Perversion is my favorite scent (so far)...

On the Skin: Still not sure after 10-15 min... then WOW. once it really warmed up to my skin it was amazing. Almost chocolatey? Smokey and rich. Mmmm.

I'll give this one another shot. First impressions can be wrong, right?

  13. In the bottle: Patchouli and something sweet. I was excited to try this one, I LOVE patchouli...

On the Skin: Not quite Baby powder... reminds me of an antique powder compact I found in a salvage store. The compact still had some of the original powder from the 1930's *ewww* Dance of Death smells like rancid old ladie's face powder on me.

I wanted to love it *sigh*

  14. First sniff: The sharp citrus hit me, not in a bad way... just unexpected.

Wearing: After a few minutes on it sweetens into almost a honey lemon cough drop scent… still not bad...

After 30 min.- Lemon dish soap...

I liked far more than I expected to - it's just not something I'd wear too often. It's a nice clean summer smell.
