  1. ... Offerings of milk, honey and sweet grains were made to placate these creatures, and it is that the basis of the scent created in their name.

This smells like straight almond extract on me, and nothing else. It's soft, and dries down to a "baby skin" scent, which is very lovely for the days which I feel innocent and feminine. I don't know if I love this scent, but it's nice to keep around and see what happens.

  2. All I got from this was bourbon and a hint of sugar that kept fading in and out before finally being chased away by the alcohol. Somehow, my skin also amped up the bourbon so much that it started to smell like patchouli, which I absolutely hate.

  3. At first, this was a softer, gentler version of Aglaea - not too peachy like a generic body lotion, with just a little floral hintings. As it dried down, though, my skin started to smell like plastic (!). I don't know if it's because of the oakmoss and I'm just not accustommed to its scent, but it's unpleasant and so off to the pile it goes.

  4. In the bottle: Jasmine, in the form of floral dirty laundry.

On my skin: Same jasmine, with a little of the rose and no other notes.

I tried aging it for two days, and I managed to coax a little of the coffee out, but overall my skin just amped up the jasmine and smelled like a laundry basket full of potpourri.

Needless to say, I've gotten rid of my bottle. I'm sad about it, because I really thought I would like it from the description, and it was a present from one of my best friends, too.
