  16. I think it's time to come up with different questions when we are trying to get to know someone, or even just making small talk at a dinner party.Let's talk about books, movies, food, cultural events, world news, the best museums we've ever been to, where we grew up...there are so many things that make up a person besides their job/marital status/whether or not they are a parent.

  17. "In fact, I discovered that cursive writing was an excellent kinesthetic exercise which grounded my students’ energies, many of which had severe behavioral problems."There is much to be said for a well-rounded, 'old fashioned' education that includes music, art, time outdoors, and yes...cursive writing.

  19. Sharing this for Kelley Argie Hobbs, who succeeded in getting today declared Peroxisomal Biogenesis Disorders Awareness Day in NH in honor of her son, Dillon, who would have been one year old today.Friends, please consider making a donation to The Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders at http://www.thegfpd.org to support the fight against PBD.
