Another vote for June Gloom, haven't tried it yet but it sounds ideal.
Sorry summer, another addition Embalming Fluid = A light, pure scent: white musk, green tea, aloe and lemon. Although in saying that, I haven't tried Phantasm, which looks similarly suitable.
I find Libra very adaptable, so would suggest you try that too.
Have fun

I just apply mine neat, but I know some of the others dilute their oils. My skin tends not to be sensitive, other than to Eclipse and Mercury!!

Secondly, there was a delay on all the orders that were processed for shipment on June 10th. They were taken down to the post office on Monday, but still haven't shown up to their destinations yet. This is a new post office, that is closer to the lab, so can a few ppl post here when they get orders from the 10th? I would like know wether or not to continue to use this new branch. Until then I will be dropping them off at our old reliable post officeThanks ladies and gents!
Brian
Hi Brian,
Did this include International orders? I think one of mine (7 May) may have been in this batch and no, it isn't here yet
Thanks,
Pam.
ETA Details of the order I was referring to and to say I've seen the email now thank you Brian

Damn, I just ordered 10mls Havisham & June Gloom with my Blue Moon. Didn't see this update in the excitement!!!

Old Port-au-prince sounds like it might fit the bill??
Dark, decadent and incomparably exotic: the rich scent of buttered rum flavored with almond, bay, clove and sassafras
The reviews mention it smells good on men too....
-
Oh no!What do UK/Europe people do?
How do we order? As we cant use the shopping cart?
*stress*
I was just assuming that we make an order via PayPal within the applicable time-period.
Now you've got me worried too !!

Must agree, Pain is wonderful. Snake Oil is still my number 1, but I wouldn't want to be without Pain and second your endorsement about its efficacy with regard to headaches.
You may enjoy The Star (coconut with crisp lime), which I often layer with Pain.
Kumiho is a wonderful clean, crisp blend of white tea and ginger.
I agree with hypothermya; Embalming Fluid is clean, lovely and very refreshing.
Hymn (perfect rose absolute and Palestinian Lily of the Valley with olibanum, labdanum, frankincense and myrrh) is very cool and relaxing on me, definitely one of my favourites.
In similar vein; Seraphim (calla lily, wisteria, white sandalwood, Damascus rose and frankincense).
Have fun

Are they the new ones that look like this: (new in April-ish)see clephan's post for picture
Those are the ones, from my order received early March.
I don't think they have changed again, have they?? I thought it was just the lids that had been altered to stop the leaks.

My 5ml bottles are: 2" x 13/16" (5cm x 2cm) These are the new 5ml bottles.
10ml bottle is: 2½" x 1" (5.4cm x 2.5cm)
That's as accurate as I can make it.
Hope this helps and if you can take pictures I'd love to see the results.

Sooo.... what're the chances of joining The Blue Moon Club, such that one can pay a certain amount of dollars upfront and get the Blue Moon of the Month imp without ordering during the window? Kinda like ordering the 7 Deadly Sins? You know, for those of us with nosy husbands or forgetful noodles?Pleaseplease?
Maybe we need a Limited Edition & Lunacy subscription club ??
How am I supposed to explain all these US packages??

It's a conspiracy to break the bank !!!
Talk about 'must have'
They sound amazing Beth. Standby for the onslaught.
-
Wow!! These sound amazing. Thank you Beth.
I wont be in the office on the date of Harvest moon! Can any of you computer wizards tell me how to set up an auto e mail?
Harvest moon is so near my birthday I HAVE to have some
No technical solutions I'm afraid, the brain isn't on; but I'll either forward an email for you or add the bottle to my order and send it on.
-
Yay!! Thank you so much Nella.
-
I know this is a pain, but is there anyway of setting up a shipping calculator?Must agree. I know it is difficult, but if there is any way to set this up for International orders, I am sure we would all be eternally grateful (Nella included).

How about trying Pikaki? Although sweet, it is so tropical I think it might suit. I loved it so much I have ordered a 5ml and by the same token Pele. I haven't tried this yet, but it is the first oil I have ordered a 5ml without previously trying an imp. The Hawaiian white ginger in it sounds perfect to me. Maybe it would give you a slightly less sharp crispness with tropical flowers.

I am 1/8 Armenian, does that count???

I'm clean out of ideas sorry.
Maybe Nella will be able to shed some light on it. Glad you got a message through though

Is Nella's email addy not working? A friend of mine has tried to email her at the bpal.com address and it keeps coming back as undeliverable.I've emailed Nella twice (and received replies) in the past few days with no problems. It might be worth checking the address your friend is using. I had problems with an address once, when I didn't notice there was a . at the end of the link!! It could be something as simple as that.
Just thought, your friend isn't using aol by any chance?? Not sure if those issues have been resolved.
-
Ah that explains. I was pretty sure it was you who had replied to my shipping quote, thank you
Have a great time when you finally get away.
-
I will definitely be signing up for that the minute that it's live! Oooh, so exciting! (I know it probably won't happen for ages but hey, I'll still grin like an idiot for today anyway!)You and me both.
-
The 5 & 10ml bottles I have are all blue cobalt with screw tops and no applicators.
You can request that reducers be fitted to the bottles when you order. I think some customers found the reducers too reducing whilst others find they are too prone to spilling the oils without reducers (fit me into this category).

"Eventually we will also be offering pre-packaged sample sets as well, and we will be instituting a program in which you can automatically purchase samples of the new scents as they become available."Wheeee!!!! I never thought this would get to become a reality! *glows happily*
I was about to say the same.
Thanks Beth I am *almost* overwhelmed with all the new scents and changes. Hope you enjoyed the wine, have a good rest and prepare for the onslaught
Pam.

Oh wow!!
Off to rob a bank......

it was sarcasmremind me not to reply to your posts when I have just woken up.
I used to move so often that now I loathe it. It is 15 years since I was last persuaded to move... on that day I said, "never again". I suspect we will at some stage but.......
Regardless, any degree of moving merits my sympathy!!

When first applied I can smell tea (I cannot differentiate between white and green!) and faint citrus, possibly lemon. This is very clean and fresh, but not bitingly crisp.
As it dries there is a lovely floral underneath, I feel it is one I recognise but I can’t put a name to it, something exotic maybe gardenia, pikaki, lily or orchid, I just can’t place it. It is a clean floral, rich and heady, but not overpowering.
Once dry this is a clean tea / citrus smell (almost like a combination of Embalming Fluid and Kumiho, although not as astringent), underwritten with a lovely floral giving stunning results. I think there might be a light musk somewhere in the background, but wouldn’t swear to it.
Sadly this isn’t lasting long on me. I really like it a lot, can’t stop sniffing my arm and have reapplied twice!!
What's the betting I'll be hugely embarrassed once the official notes are advised?
See?? I still reckon there's a floral (other than bergamot) in there
EDIT: Changed topic title 'cause Sacher-Masoch is really Severin (and I'm glad to know that because I got one too), moved it to Love Potions and deleted allamanda's request that it be moved from the top of this post. --Shollin
