My husband bought me a perfume he likes called revert? I have never been a fan of citrus but it's such a sweet sugary bright grapefruit that I love it, only draw back is I hate perfume! Lololol!!

I have tried some oils that are citrus, but it really is only the grapefruit with sugar that makes me want it!

Laiden and cuthuir (spelling?) best beachy scent ever!

I am looking up everything I can find and it's either a peel, or a sharp grapefruit.

I am hoping for a sweet candy pink grapefruit:))

Ok, I hate winter scents! I hate pine and I am not a fan of berries. So why is it that I am so IN LOVE with this scent??

I can't stop sniffing my arm!!

Before I knew there were berries in this my nose kept telling me it was a lush, but soft rose, bayberry, some every green and sweet mints.

I still smell that but I can tell the rose my brain keeps saying is there is really the lush berry scent, blended so smooth with evergreens and cool sweetened snowy mint.

This is stunning! Perfect for when you're not feeling well, a tummy soother, a super soft sweater hug, a pregnant must have!!

This is exotically romantic, like what Elsa would smell like from frozen<3

Right off the bat I get fresh peeled orange! But shortly after applying, the tobacco comes out to deepen things up. The hay lies underneath, just a dry, golden, summer feeling to the rich, sticky tobacco and bright perky orange.

The longer the wear the less the orange and more of the beautiful chewy tobacco!!

This is a strong tobacco note, and a more unisex scent. I can see this being amazing on a guy and drop dead power sexy on a woman!

OMG! So in love!! This is French tobacco, sweeter and more feminine. There is a light soft citrus note underneath that brightens it up.

I am so glad I got this!! Rich, deep orange feeling, perfect for fall and winter! I may need another bottle!<3

The pepper scent is the Balinese long grain peppercorn.

It really is the long grain pepper scent. I have and have tried almost all the scents listed , including the solstice scent since this perfume is in my scent category.

But I have never found that pepper scent !

I have been reading all the reviews on it, and it smells like pepper:) that long seed unmilled pepper!

Ingredients are sandalwood, violet, vanilla, and it smells like that pepper seed!!

I hate perfume, but I am SOOOOO in love with this one! It's called nirvana black. A sweet, woody, dark vanilla, maybe with some tobacco and dark floral?

I generally stick to the GC but all recs are welcome.

It is so interesting to see how my list has changed over time. Hardly any fruit or floral show up anymore. Resin, musk, wood, spice. Yum!

 

(Edited to add: I seem to love red and golden scents, and 'hot' scents or scents that evoke warmth... if that helps...)

Okay, I'll play. It's been a while since I stuck my nose in the forums, and I really should remedy that! My top 5 in no particular order, and good gosh but it isn't easy picking these! are:

that doesn't even get into the scents I love but have to be in a specific sort of mood to wear, or the ones that aren't quite in the top 5 but are still marvelous, or... Ah heck. Anyway. runners up, for further information, are Helena, Juniper Hairstreak, Rose Red 2011, Squirting Cucumber and Anne Bonnie.

I would add mama ji, rose pearls and diamonds, and the expiration:)

I'm not completely familiar with a lot of the blends in the other posts for apologies for not recommending anything at the moment!

Since I am a sweet French tobacco addict I can help you with some autumn lace loves! Like perversion, variety of easing amusements. Also want to add womb furie.

Also look for silver stream, holy water, and the best is llaidan and cuthuir, you may like her voice too.

My top picks switch around a bit depending on my mood, but these always get along with me:

 

1. Atlas ... Mallow, oak bark, coffee bean, hinoki wood, and khus.

2. French Tobacco SN ... A very faint citrus-like twang and an almost animalic caramel richness.

3. Black Pearl ... Coconut, Florentine iris, hazelnut and opalescent white musk

4. Satan & Death with Sin Intervening ... Opoponax, benzoin, orange blossom, mahogany, karakarounde, white tea and vetiver.

4. White Rider ... White leather and sandalwood.

 

Ones to try:

Vixen for satan and death

Dee for white rider

If you are a French tobacco fan then you HAVE to try variety of pleasing amusements and perversion. And autumn lace! That one too!

So far the only ones that don't turn to grandma powder on me is rose red, st Foutain de Versailles ( incredible!) queen Venus and the red queen:)

I just some of this in a swap, not really having any expectations, just enjoying a swap. HOLY CRAP!!!! I have dreads, and everything just goes in my dreads:))

This was french tobacco in my hair that slowly turned into a dark bright sweet pom smell. It is all I smell. I am surrounded and intoxicated by this sexy dark fruit. I am thinking of trying to find more, which makes me crazy cause I swore I would stay bpal only, but I think bptp is calling me over to their side too!

This smells like the really aged Indian amber I used to get!!! I am an amber junkie and this is what I have been looking for!

Sticky rich amber, sweet undertone of a dark vanilla and a feeling of incense:))))

This is a crazy morpher! First I get a boozy chocolate, then comes a coffee patch spice, then the coffee fades and it's a sweet spiced patch, until finally I am left with a sweet spicy patchouli vanilla bean!

I love it!!

I really wanted to like this, but I hate fresh morocco! And this is FRESH morocco! Super vanilla cookie with touches of pumpkin spice. Way too foody for me so I have it aging hoping for an aged morocco in the pumpkin patch!
