    Dragon's Eye

I'm a true lilac fan and how, so I was definitely getting this one. It's one of my first two imps, yikes! In the bottle: The lilacs are certainly there, along with something sharper than I expected. That must be the dragon's blood resin. Wet on skin: Mmm, lilacs ahoy. Yum. The sharpness is still evident, but the lilac's strong enough that I don't mind at all. Drydown: Mmm continued. Definitely still strongly lilac, just barely hinted with what must be the resin, and now the lily of the valley is peeking through a little. This is a wonderful scent for me; as I said, true lilac fan. There may very well be a bottle in my future, I think. Edited to add: Note to self, do not put Dragon's Eye on under one sleeve. You will inevitably keep lifting said sleeve and sniff-sniff-sniffing your forearm. Oops! Definitely a keeper, this. It keeps reminding me of early May, when the lilacs bloom like crazy here. Love.

    Prague

Just got my first two imps, and Prague was one of them! I'm another who's enchanted by the idea of this city; Prague is forever tangled up with the events of 1968 and 1989 for me, as well as World War II Resistance stories. Let's see here: In the bottle: I can detect the lilies, as well as something sweet and surprisingly sharp. That must be the crocus or snowdrop, not sure. Wet on skin: Hmm. There's the fruity note other people have mentioned, but the lilies are still there. Drydown: The fruity note lingers, but so do the lilies. It also mellows on me, leaving a soft, clean, sweetly floral scent. I like this. It's something subtle you could wear onstage and not bowl over the person you're in a scene with. I'll be enjoying this imp, and maybe a bottle down the line... if nothing else, another imp! This fits Prague the city, or at least my image of it, extremely well. I just have to say.

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

Ooh, thanks. I hadn't a clue at all. Now I've got something to start with. I'd forgotten Heaven Scent was reformulated, huh. I'll see what I come up with, now I've got an idea of what I'm looking for. I'd never have been able to identify all those notes on my own, thanks!

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

Using the search feature got me a mention or two, but I didn't see a designated thread. If I'm asking this in the wrong place, someone tell me. I'm looking for a BPAL perfume similar to Heaven Scent... and I'm not sure just which company makes Heaven Scent. It's my mother's signature perfume, has been since I can remember, and it's been fairly recently discontinued. That, plus wanting to give my mother something I know she'll like has me looking. Anyone have any recommendations?
