I think this is my first review, so please be gentle with me!
Anyway, on to the MVJBA:
Wet: I get lots of butter and sugar. This is heavy on the caramel, yet at the same time is still light and rich. Mmmm.
Middle: At this point I get a bit more of the saltiness coming up and it plays up beautifully with the caramel. On me, I find this gives it a very sultry edge, so that the foodiness gets balanced out with an edge that goes more with a warm summer night...yum.
Drydown: Now I get the nuttiness, with waves of caramel. Bliss.
This reminds me of being on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ as a teenager, but much, much better. It is hauntingly delicious, sweetly spooky and I think I'm in love.

I got this yesterday and it is delicious; on me the dragon's blood and leather race to the top and then the steely note comes in...mmm. It has a tough, yet very sexy, warrior feel about it and I've never smelled anything quite like it. This is one that I love.

So, I was at Convergence and got some Storyville--
Day-um.
This may be my favorite BPAL yet. There's a sweet foody, booziness about it, much like a sweet vanilla cocktail with an edge of fruit (at least on me). However, the really excellent part is that it has a deep muskiness underneath. On me, the sweetness comes out first and then the musk; it's slow to develop and utterly enticing and delicious. If you like foody scents this is a winner--however, I'm most impressed with how it turns musky and sexy too. It's amazing--I've been smelling of Storyville all week so far and I like it.
(and I do hope there are more New Orleans scents in the works--I'm wishing for Beignet and King Cake myself:))

I am so in love with Mead Moon it isn't funny. On me, it is rich honey with sprinkles of herbal goodness. On me, the drydown becomes...well...sex in a field to the point where I wanted to check my hair for grass.
Oh gods, YUM. It wears well and I'm still swooning from my wrist today. Brava!
