  1. In the imp: ewww. Much like Horreur Sympathique, this is one I turned my nose up at on first sniff!

Wet, on skin: Oooh, honey! And rose! Wow, this is a GC I am really liking!

Dry, on skin: Heading towards baby powder land with a side of orange. :(

Overall: Gonna have to try this in a scent locket. Otherwise, the dry-down is really uninspiring.

  2. In the imp: no singular note stands out to me except possibly something floral, but there is a definite femininity to this blend.

Wet, on skin: clean, floral, and something deeper than that - cinnamon or pepper?

Dry, on skin: very soft citrus, rose, cinnamon, slight bubble gum effect - dragon's blood?

Overall: Not bad! Looking forward to testing the, ahem, lust factor of this with my SO... ;)

  3. Sniffing without reading the description left me feeling confused... but now I know that the sweet, foody smell here is almond! It reminds me of Hellcat. It also makes me think of marzipan, and how this would be a fantastic Yule scent... which doesn't really mesh with my opinion of how the Queen of Sheba ought to smell. Hm. 2/5!

  4. Nyx

This is such a strange scent. I had no idea that I would like something so floral... but this is beautiful, and dark. Good longevity. Becomes quite cloying after a period of time, however. 3/5!

  5. I didn't even know I had an imp of this until last night, when I tried it on, sniffed, and thought, "Eh." ...until a little later when I couldn't stop sniffing my wrists! Such a great scent when dry on me. I may very well need a 5mL of this. 8/10

  6. To me, this feels like the same soapy rose in La Belle Dame Sans Merci, which I love. It's a pretty scent, but a dark one. 7/10.

Revised: after a while, this became upsettingly soapy and I had to wash it off! Definitely not something I want to own. Given away.

  7. I absolutely hated this when I first received it. I took one whiff of it, smelled mint, and put it away. However, wearing it now, I feel like this is a lovely blend - reminiscent of cologne, but not too masculine for me to wear. Very fresh, and bright, with something warm underneath (the amber, I assume). A 6/10 - will keep my partial, wear from time to time, but will not actively seek more.

  8. I can definitely smell the violets and dried fruit... in a bad way. This scent goes very grandmother-y on me when dry. I'll have to try it in a scent locket, but so far, this is a 3/10 scent for me (don't need to wash it off right now, but won't be reaching for it again anytime soon)

  9. I've had a low partial bottle of this since right after the Weenies came out last year. I suppose I never skin-tested it until yesterday, when I discovered that I LOVE this scent!

On my skin, it's a very sweet floral that keeps making me huff my wrists. I can't exactly pick out the notes because they blend so beautifully. It definitely has staying power, too! Easily an 8/10 in my book.

  10. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! Definitely one of my all-time favorite scents.

In the bottle: red, sweet, spicy - like red hots.

Wet on skin: sweet cinnamon and more RED - definitely a foody smell, but a weirdly sexy one.

Dry on skin: the spiciness has become sharper, the sweet more muted, and the snake oil bleeds in behind.

    So absolutely amazing.

  11. Named in honor of Vlad III, Tepes, of the Order of the Dragon. Black musk, tobacco, fir, balsam of peru, cumin, bitter clove, crushed mint, and orange blossom.

This reminds me of incense smoking in the dark. It's very appropriate for a scent titled Dracul. I'm not sure how much wear I would get out of this on a daily basis, but I'll be keeping my imp handy for times I want to smell a bit on the evil side!
