  1. This came as a freebie from my BPTP item.

In bottle: fresh gardenia/jasmine with lots of fresh sweetness

On Wet (near stuff animal): still gets the gardenia/jasmine type smell with something sweet and fruity

Dry: I finally get the orange sweet smell that is suppose to be marmalade

It a really nice fresh room spray.

  2. I got this as a freebie with my snake oil bath oil. I spray it close to a stuff animal, so that is what I am sniffing.

Wet: Sorta like classic older perfumes but not as strong, with fruits, and some sweetness

The super dry down a day later: light florals similar to potpourri with a very faint spice

In the room: I get the sweetness as others mentioned, kind of like cotton candy and some light florals?

  3. In Bottle: spicy, sweet, dark incense resins, alcohol (it almost gives me a headache)

On Wet: spices, sweetness, a tiny bit of vanilla, alcohol (the weird essence of alcohol smell may give me a headache on a bad day)

On Inbetween: sweet vanilla backed with some complex spices that have no more spiciness

On Dry: pure deep rich vanilla

I think my body amps sweet smells, even almost a day after putting it on I can still smell vanilla.

Someone mentioned Scherezade is like a grown up version of snake oil. They are quite similar actually, in the spice note, but I don't get any sweetness from Scherezade on my skin...

  4. Electrifying, mechanized and chilly -- the scent of crushed blooms strewn on cold metal. Lush violet and neroli spiked hard with eucalyptus and a sliver of mint.

In Imp: eucalyptus, mint, hint of flowers
On Wet: eucalyptus, mint, slight sweetness, florals
On Dry: the mint and eucalyptus fades a bit, crushed fresh flowers, slight fresh green note

The drydown has a nice simply floral that doesn't quit smell like violets or neroli to me. It's more similar to a really soft soft faint iris. Though I do not like iris scents, this one is so light with the mixture of the eucalyptus and mint before, it's a very nice.

  5. In Imp: green soft florals

On Wet: soft faint powder, roses, and I assume water lilies(some type of watery flower, very delicate)

    On Dry: roses

On the drydown I can't really decide whether the rose is more fresh or more tea rose. On my skin this scent turns into all roses, strong and earthy. I do like roses, but I wish my skin could hold the delicate other florals also. It was very pretty scent on me between wet and dry.

  6. In Imp: Sweet and minty/herbal

On Wet: slightly sweet, honey, minty, incense, and something else I can't name (I want say it's some type of resin/gummy smell)

On Dry: the same but minty-ness disappears

The scent I can't point out is probably bay or laurel, since I ever had the actually plant/herb, I don't really know what it smells like. This is not for me, though it is not a bad smell. The dry down is similar to autumn scents where there is a lot of fragrant fallen leaves and spice; but it's very strong and makes me a little nauseous and sad.

  7. In imp: spicy dark sweet resin

On Wet: dark earthy, spicy, high-note florals, slight sweetness

On Dry: sweet dark, smoke, slightly soapy

This blend has promise, I have to try it on again. There are many blends that turn soapy on me, or maybe my nose is picking up something else.

  8. In Imp: salty, spicy, sweet, and waxy?

On Wet: slightly soapy, aquatic note, spicy florals

On Dry: a soft clean smell (like fresh laundry out of a dryer or mild soap)

This scent is not for me (not a body scent), it's great if I wanted to smell like really nice clean laundry though. I will probably put some on my clothes or car.

It's probably my body's chemistry fault.

  9. Granddaughter of Helios, Hecate's chosen: Medea was one of the greatest sorceresses of the ancient world. She is the embodiment of ruthless power, indomitable will and furious vengeance. Night-blooming cereus, black orchid, black currant and myrtle leaf enshrouded in the incense of Hecate's cypress and myrrh, and the dark rage of magickal labdanum and intoxicating poppy.

In Imp: strong floral, dark fruit, woods
On Wet: same with some sweetness, slightly soapy
On Dry: Florals, a slight sweetness, and musk

Again not really a scent for me. Though I think my nose is playing some tricks with me, it's just a bit too flowery and soft/soapy for me. Will try again laters...

  10. In Imp: Honeys and light fruity florals

On Wet: Deep honey, pollen, florals, powder

On Dry: amber and powder (baby powder-ish)

This scent is not for me, however the dry scent is kind of nice if you like the light powdery amber.

  11. In Imp: strong scent of orange peel/rind, light florals perhaps orange blossoms

On Wet: strong scent of citrus, florals (really smells like oranges and orange blossoms to me, like my tree)

On Dry: still citrus and florals with a slight powdery note, musk, and woods

This scent's dry down reminds me of Sung in some ways. It's a very nice scent.

  12. In Imp: Deep woods, old florals, menthol, a touch of sweetness

On Wet: soapy roses, woods, a bit of sweet citrus

On Dry: deep rose, touch of menthol, a bit of citrus/orange

I rather like the dry down of this one, but it is a bit soapy on my skin. Similar to what some would call "old lady" perfume, therefore must use in moderation.

  13. In Imp: herbaly, slight sweetness, lavender

On Wet: still herbaly, earthy, lavender, tea tree oil, mint

On Dry: lastly I get a tiniest bit of lime, mint, and sweet lavender

It's quite nice if you like to smell like fresh herbal garden, I have a shampoo that is very similar to this scent. It's very refreshing and calming.

  14. In Imp: sweet rose, florals, candy?

On Wet: sweet rose turns into full-bodied rose with earthy depth, but still on the sweeter side

On Dry: the rose dies down to this sweet smell that reminds me of Asian jello cups and wet shampoo.

It is not bad, but not really for me.

  15. I got an Baku imp as a freebie. At first sniff I was not impressed, because it was just plain lavender to me. It was until I tried it a couple more times to develop a appreciation.

Baku on wet smells like a really nice fresh soft lavender, there slight sweetness that comes up.

As it drys down, there are hints of anise (licorice candy) with lavender, the anise gets more prominent in the dry down. I would probably guess it's green anise, and not the asian cooking spice star anise. But I am not sure which kind it is.

It is a lovely scent, I love putting it on my pillow. The scent lasts for more than a day. I actually put a few drops on my new leather handbag, the blend of leather and fresh sweet lavender was really nice.

I wonder if there is a BPAL scent like that...

  16. In imp: floral, faint rose, watery leather

On Wet: a nice rose scent

On Dry (after a couple min): rose balanced with nice soft leather, and a faint scent of rose hips or crush rose petals

The leather becomes more prominent as time goes by, the scent drys down into a faint roses and watery soft leather.

I really like this scent, the leather in this smells like a soft buttery tanned leather of my handbag. It's really nice, but it's a scent that does not last long my skin.

  17. In imp: sweetened light oakmoss

On wet: sweet light oakmoss, hints of rose

Dry: pungent musk almost sour, oakmoss, dry rose

The scent didn't change to much on me, the oakmoss to me is predominant and the dry rose is the base.

Not a bad scent at all, however I want to layer it with a brighter scent. It would be lovely to ground other oils.

  18. In Imp: fits the description, a nice crisp rose

On Wet: light rose, very light white musk, slight fruit note

Dry: hints of rose and White Diamonds

To me, it smells like White Diamonds (the old vintage perfume) with roses, that just how it develops on my skin.

It's a nice scent, but not a match for me. In my opinion it's for someone a bit older than me, because I can't carry such a scent successfully.

  19. In Imp: nice floral, slightly sweet and fruity

On wet: light musk, strong floral, sweet woods, candy

Dry: waxy floral (candle wax), hints of sandalwood and menthol

I don't like how the oil develops on my skin. At first the florals are quite nice, but then it fades into sweet woods and sweet something I can't describe. Then it becomes a waxy floral smell, similar to the block of melted mixed candle wax I made years ago. Which is not exactly a bad smell, but after a few minutes it starts to make me a little nauseous.
