  1. So, I got my tattoo last night. *grin* And yes, I was wearing The Lion. It was an awesome experience. The tattoo artist, Brian, was a complete sweetie, and talked to me a lot, and teased a bit. It really wasn't painful. The bunny has scratched me more painfully than this. The only parts that were bad-ish was when he was outlining over my spine. No tears, though. Just a few 'ah, f*ck's. *grin* My back feels like it's been sunburnt right now, but that's it.

    Two pics:

    To show the placement

    Finished tattoo!

  2. I'll certainly post a pic (when I can beg/borrow/steal a friend's camera).

And thanks for the tips. I already knew about the eating before, but sugar during is a good idea. Passing out would not be of the good.

I'm going by myself, unfortunately. I've only been in the city for a month and a half, and I don't have anyone to bring along. (I'd ask one of my roommates, but they're both working full weekends. Bah)

  3. Hmmm...I would go with Lionheart, or, if you don't have that, The Lion (: Those are both strong, protective, brave scents. (: Blood Countess might also work...it's very powerful and sensual...both things I associate with tattoos.

Where on your body are you getting a tattoo? I got my first tattoo a few months ago, on my outer left leg, just above my ankle, and it didn't hurt at all, but it tickled like CRAZY...kind of an intense tickle...hard to describe...but it was an intense experience..and the endorphine high was great. *giggle*

    Hey Kat! :P

The Lion sounds excellent. :D It's one of my 'sexy' scents.

I'm getting my tattoo almost dead center of my back (eep!), and the pattern is a triquetra. *grin* I'm hoping it's not too painful.

  4. *sniffles* I had big hopes for this scent, because I'm madly in love with Blood Amber. But, alas, when I opened the imp, the first scent to hit me was cherry...LOTS of it. Strike one.

On, it turned into cherry/florals. Strike Two.

It was so strong I got a headache from the scent. Strike Three.

*waves as the sad little imp makes it's way to the swap pile*

  5. In the imp: Very rosey. I can’t smell cinnamon at all.

    On my wrist-still rosey

Dry-Oooh! There’s the cinnamon, and what an entrance. My wrist now smells the way Cinnamon Mentos taste, only richer. And now I’m hungry for junk food. I’m not sure if I want a full bottle of this yet, but I’ll be looking for other scents with cinnamon in it for sure.

  6. I'm not too sure what Dragon's Blood smells like by itself, but this is wonderful. It's a warm, rich scent, but not too heavy. You can smell the amber in it, but it's well blended. I put it on five hours ago, and it's still going strong.

This is going on my 'Need a Big Bottle. NOW.' list.

  7. In the imp-very sweet and sugary. Smells like a cross between conversation hearts and bubblegum.

On-wet: Still very sweet, but the clove is starting to come out.

On-dry. Oh, yum. Very clovey and sweet, with a bit of grape.

Later-There is something a bit plasticy coming through. It’s not bad, just different. I like this, and I’ll definitely be using up my imp.

  8. In the imp-a soft and sweet floral.

On, wet: The lily-of-the-valley scent really comes out, with no sign of the carnation. The sweet pea is there, but in the background

After wearing a while: Still lily-of-the-valley and sweet pea. *happy sigh* This is a beautifully light and sweet scent. I'll definitely be getting a 5ml of this!

  9. First Sniff: Soft. It reminds me of Georgian Bay-greens and blues.

Wearing: Violets. Unfortunately, after it dries, it goes to a soapy type smell. It's not bad, but not what I'm looking for. Actually, it reminds me of my great-grandma’s house. She always has tons of violets growing year round. I'll finish up my imp, but won't be getting more.

  10. First sniff: Sharp. Maybe a pine smell, but nowhere near as strong as Nocnitsa.

Wearing: Nothing really special. Smells like pine nuts and Skin-so-Soft.

Hour later:Doesn't do anything for me, and is starting to give me a headache. Pity. *adds to swap pile*
