In a few time I'm gonna place an order together with some friends (so that we can share postal expenses -and maybe customs tax-). We intend to try so many imps and I fear that the 300 characters of the paypal message won't be enough. what must I do to solve the problem, please?

I have a bottle of a french niche parfume that resembles very much BPAL's 'HARLOT': I mean 'EAU LENTE' by Diptyque.

thanks everybody, I'm reading all the topic step by step (It takes a little time because -as you can easily see- my english is so poor), learning too many things I didn't know and planning my next order. (special thanks to Patina)

Hi everybody! Violet is one of the fragrances-of-my heart. Thinking about my next order I'm searching for a BPAL that resembles the violet fragrance I have in my mind: a deep, creamy and dark violet, not green and not too tender. a little bit sugared and woody enough, but not too sugared and not too woody: I'd like the violet fragrance to be predominat. If is there a BPAL like this, please let me know so that I can put It in my next order! thanks

Scheherazade is a female name of Persian origin (not Arabic, Persian is an indo-european language, Arabic is a semitic one) and Its right pronunciation must be: SHE-HE-RA-ZA-DEH'.

I like The miller's daughter because of Its smell of fresh rose, just like a rose picked up freshly from a dewy garden early in the morning. Not too green, not even metallic on my skin but dusty and sweet, really It has a reference to the wet straw.
I smelled so many rose parfumes and I find this very pleasant and long lasting.

O
in Ars Amatoria
this parfume is very soft and ambery, the light sweetness of honey is tender and creamy enough to introduce you in a relaxing atmosphere without sounding too gourmand, I find in It a very pleasant sensation, calming and exciting in the same way. makes me feel good.I think I must have a full bottle.

to me this is one of the most animalistic BPAL I've tried. In which way cinnamon drives into a deep and dusty animal scent I don't know, but this sense of feline hair intrigues so much.

In this parfume I smell best of all the cocoa head note, not too chocolate or gourmand, a deep and woody cocoa with a hint of cherry that really makes you feel in the best way to help your Fortune.

have you ever tried Serge Lutens's "Louve"? It's quite similar to BPAL's HECATE: It reminds the smell of that middle-eastern sweets called 'loukhoum'. a sweet almond gourmand very very enjoyable!

Phantom opens with fascinating and deep animalic notes, dusty feline hair. After about ten minutes you begin to smell the heart notes that contain a hint of gold-honeyed ylang and a powerful and fantastic powdery rose attar, one of the most pleasant roses I have ever tried. The undertones of sandalwood add a creamy softness to the blend.
It you love rose -as I do-, you won't loose this blend.

have you ever smelled "Alamut" by great italian nose Lorenzo Villoresi? Well, it reminds me to BPAL's Baghdad. Deep and spicy. (Alamut is a fortress in Persia).

I like very much a french parfume by L'Artisan Parfumeur called "Passage d'Enfer" (lilium and frankincense), and there is a BPAL blend very similar to it: SHEOL.

extraordinary sense of lighness and freshness in this parfume -not easy to find in a parfume oil. a spicy drydown makes Desdemona more intriguing. I add it to my wishing list!

even if it is not tecnically a musk, if you are searching for something 'animalistic' I suggest you to try CHIMERA. Its name is very appropriate because it smells about something in the middle between human and beast, just like the ancient Chimera was. I find this parfume very exciting and 'feline'.
