My Witch was sweet and sent me an imp of this in my birthday package - can I just tell you how much I love this!!! It is wonderful and I love love love it. I don't know if it's the 05 or 08, but it's all good. Excuse me while I go huff my wrist again Just a beautiful vanilla mint with a hint of butter, yum.

 

ETA: Then it amped and amped and amped until my husband could smell vanilla sugar cookies in the other end of the house - sigh...

Fresh on it's minty and light then bam it turned all floral and sticky sweet. Had to wash it off - florals just don't seem to do well on me.

Version 2010:

Sort of nice, but then seems to meld down and have a fake plastic smell to it - I think it's the cake.

Started out nice, cinammon sugar cookies - amped to be sickening - kept getting sweeter and sweeter - had to wash it off. Yuck

I really like this - and I'm surprised. Maybe I'm a foodie and I just don't know it. Smells like fresh cotton candy.

On my skin this smells like aged cold cream. That is the wierdest thing. Not good.

Philologus - wow - is this one coloney and masculine. I like the scent, hopefully it will work on hubbie. Very clean & crisp. Just not for me. Nothing like the description.

 

 

I am just not a sweet floral girl. I don't know which item in this amped on me, but it wasn't pretty. Sweetie, floral, yukiness. I was SO hoping the wisteria would be wonderful. There is nothing subtle about this fragrance.

Tombeur - this one is quiet nice, but not spectacular. Nice smooth soft blend - I can smell the sandalwood, patchouli and snake oil, but little else which is a shame. A keeper as an imp, but not a bottle for me.

 

 

Out of the bottle it has almost a sweet-tart smell to it, morphs to a very floral plastic smell (that's happened before, I wonder if the benzion is amping into something odd on me). Too floral for me - but a good throw floral I'm sure for others.

Out of the bottle - rose, morphs to rose quite a throw - too rose for me.

This is the one I was most disappointed in on my skin. It's just too overwhelmingly sweet. I know lot's of people love this so I was anxious to try it. I seem to like a couple of the scents that have snake oil in them, but on it's own it doesn't seem to work for me

I put it on, washed it off almost immediately with soap and water. After that, it smelled pretty nice Just too sweet & floral for me to handle.

Just too perfumey for me. I need to write down all the “notes” in the ones that turn perfumey on me and avoid them - or at least see if there is a trend!

 

 

On my skin this smelled like a cheap bathroom spray - not for me.

Samhain 2009 - when this dries down, all I can smell is honey. Very odd.

LOVE this one! Sage woody smell with the frankincense and the bunn seems to add just enough sweetness to it to keep it from getting too sappy.. Reminds me of a fabulous day spent hiking near Santa Fe, NM. I'll be buying a bottle of this for sure.I don't get the cigar box smell that others have had at all. Just a beautiful fabulous scent.

I really like this one - I can smell the faint smoke and the hint of syrup and the beer on the hayride (not sensing the tar, not quite sure what that smells like anyway). A keeper.

Clockwork Couture Female - I really liked this one. It’s sweet smelling, soft, soothing, subtle. I like it alot, might need to find a bottle of this one.

I just put on Summer's Last Will and Testament - it seemed appropriate today with all the windows open, a cool breeze blowing through the house. A perfect day. This one has a big throw at this point - I can really smell the Marigold and Geranium - it's a little stong. It has sort of a dry smell to it - wonder if that's the winter wind or the leaves of autumn.

On my skin this smelled like cheap hotel bar soap

Sort of herbally weird strange. An odd mixture, I’m not too fond of it, but will try it again.

Very perfumy - not to my liking. Will try again, but don’t think I like it

 

 

When I first put it on I was totally struck with a Deja Vu moment - I knew I had smelled this fragrance before somewhere in my youth (I’m currently 47) - but I could not place it. I had my husband smell it and he got the same feeling. We finally placed it - it smells EXACTLY like Spencers Gifts used to smell - all incensy, sweetie, different - very unusual and a trip back to my past.

Sweet sweet sweet. I don't know what it is about Snake oil, but it's just too heavy and sweet for me - such a shame as so many like it a lot.
