    Numb

Numb was in my second BPAL order. I was hoping for something cool and minty (I refuse to read reviews on a scent that's pending so I won't worry about it working or not until it's here and staring at me). Disreguard my putting off on reviewing this for so long. I'm behind In the bottle, it's overwhelmingly purple flowers (apparently that's the violet). No coolness to it, just loads and loads of purple flowers. On me, it's floral scented soap, and it kills my allergies. Fortunately, the scent barely lingers before it's gone, and I can't say that I mind. *adds one to the swap pile*

    Three Witches

This is the resurrected Three Witches. In the bottle, it's a wonderful cinnamon and cloves, with very little pepper. On me wet, it's still that wonderful cinnamon and cloves. Once it dries though, problems start. It goes towards the red-hot end of cinnamon, which I don't mind per se, but one of the other notes (the cloves maybe) are making me nausious. I'm going to have to go wash it off shortly, because it's making my stomach angry feeling. I'm sad though, because I'm a huuuuuuuge MacBeth freak and was hoping this would work on me as well as Lady MacBeth. I may try this again on a strong stomach day, just to test, but I think this one will either be swapped or used to scent a room or something.

    Gluttony

On me, Gluttony shows its sticky sweet side: loads of toffee, honey, vanilla, buttercream, and caramel. It smells good on me, but it's too overwhelmingly sticky sweet for me to wear. It does, however, smell absolutely divine on my younger sister. I shall not question the scent gods.

    Blood Moon 2005

This is my first Lunancy oil, so I had no idea what to expect. In the bottle, Blood Moon smells like a walk in some woods on a cold fall day, with a spicy fire in the distance. Wet, it's was so spicy it made my eyes tear up (which, considering I've got dry allergy eyes, is a nice thing). Its dried into a spicy, musky, creamyness that I'm just adoring. It's still very strong, and very sexy smelling. It's not an every day scent.. but when I do wear it, watch out world. I had to come back and edit this. Last night, after I'd been wearing this scent for a few hours, it just made me relax all over. I had the best sleep I've had in months (and I slept right through my alarm, although thankfully I didn't have anything I needed to be up for). I'll also be wearing this when I greet my fiance at the airport.. it makes me want to tie him down and do naughty things to him.

    Somnus

I ordered an imp of this for my sister, who's been having bad insomnia for many months now, as her anti-depressant made it hard for her to sleep. She hasn't found an anti-anxiety drug that lets her sleep that doesn't cause her anti-depressants to stop working. So she tried out Somnus to humor me, thinking that if prescription stuff wasn't going to do it, nothing was. Lo and behold, she slept better. She has no idea what it smells like dry, as she's not awake at that point, but wet she can smell lavender, juniper and soap. When my sister get's enough sleep, the whole house is happy.
