  1. Wow - this was not at all what I was expecting.

It's a little hard to explain, but it not really a soft note - but it is airy - like snow itself. There is just a touch of forest in this, but it is mostly snow. There is something else underneath it. I can't quite figure it out. I wanna dig up the snow and find it, but I can't.

So finally - it's soft, airy, cool, snowy scent. I like it, but it isn't for me.

  2. Ok - I didn't get leather or tabacco - I got syrup - maple syrup. Now that I know what it is supposed to smell like - it's kinda smoaky syrup. Either way - I very much did not like it.

  3. It first it is very evergreen especailly in the bottle - quite overwhelming. I'm not a big fan of it. As I where it, though, the sweet berries start off soft, then grow. It's not bad. Evergreen just isn't my thing. It doesn't last long either.

My man didn't like either, but the dog on the other hand - was all about sniffing and trying to lick my arm :P

  4. This one I got simply b/c I love tiger lilies and I love honey :P

In the bottle: Green tiger lilies, very little honey.

On: At first it is the same as in the bottle but with a touch more honey. Then it goes through this "odd" period where it smells like several things that are not all lily and honey. However, it settles back in. The honey starts to come out a bit stronger, but even still the tiger lilies come out as the clear winner.

It lasted about 3 hours before I started to feel the need to slather more on - and, yes, that means I liked it...a lot! *sniffs wrists some more* Yep - it's a keeper. :D :D

  5. In the bottle it is very fruity - mostly with a tropical feel and maybe a cherry underlying. And on that doesn't change. It is still fruity sweet, but it is not artificial sweet - it's very realistically fruity. It has a good throw and a bit strong. It is yummy, and I would love to eat it, but I'm not sure I want to smell like this on a regular basis.

  6. Wet - Forbidden Fruit smells sweet and a little fruit with light florals. As it dries the sweet and citrus fades back and mixes with the florals. Unfortunately, after a bit longer it all goes sour on me. It did smell nice, but even when I smelt nice - it still wasn't for me.

  7. Wet, it was sweet and a little floral smelling.

Dry, it is warm, sweet peach. It reminds me of spring and my mom's peach pie. Growing up in SC, I love the scent of warm, fresh from a roadside stand peaches. The peach isn't strong - more like the smell of peaches drift through the air. It is also lightly woody smell. It makes me happy. I close my eyes, and I'm standing on the deck of home in SC. My mom's peach pie is almost done because I'm just starting to check whiffs of it.

  8. In the Bottle: Very, very sweet. My boyfriend turned his nose up at it b/c he doesn't think I need to smell like candy. So I waited to a night home alone to try it out on.

On the Skin: It doesn't take long for the sweetness to calm out and reveal the florals. Now it is more a softly sweet and floral smell with just a whiff of wine in the background. As it dries - the wine because stronger.

  9. ... Her scent is a bounty of golden honeyed almonds and a whisper of African and Middle Eastern spices.

Whenever I get a new imp, I always sniff the bottle before I open it - kinda a sneak preview. I sniffed and liked what I got, but there was a bite at the end. When I opened the bottle - it was no longer a bit, but a big giant chomp of bitter green. I forced myself to go ahead and put it on.

On immediate dry down, the bite was gone. I was left with almondy, spicy, incense. It is a very warm smell and does (as so many others have said) reminds me of walking through a sunlit bazaar with all kinds of good scents around.

  10. I'm not quite sure how to describe this one, except I know I love it. :P

It has a very robust smell. It is sweet with a slight tartness - a thick dark red - juicy and plump. I use this for "night" time smell when I'm headed out on the town. It seems to wake up the animal insticts and makes feel like I'm on the prowl. But that might just be me. :D

  11. I got this decanted into an imp today. I very excitedly unwrapped it. Apparently some of it had spilled over onto the outside of it since it was filled right to the tippy-top. It smelt so divine! Honey goodness. :P So I opened the imp and took a big sniff...bad, nose twitchy, sharp bite. :D I was very confused. Where was the sweetness I had smelt on the bottle and bubble wrap. I forced myself to put it on because I knew it had to get better.

And sure enough - as it dried the honey came out. Although, as it dried the smell of all of it was quite strong, but once it did it was honey wonderful. It wasn't just pure honey sweetness - it's tempered with something. I'm not quite good at picking everything out, but it makes me think of an open jar of honey at a picnic. You smell the honey, but you also smell everything else. I'll keep this and wear it every now and then. It isn't an everyday scent, but it is still quite yummy. :D

  12. My favorite scent - I have a 10ml bottle on the way! =)

It has a sweet, rich smell that is tempered by a powdery softness. It is a great "anytime" scent. After a while (as it starts to wear off), the powdery scent starts to overpower the rest.
