Bottle: Bright, cranberry goodness. Amazing!

On wet: Immediately things change. The cranberry becomes dustier and a green note emerges. This smells like a candle. A good, festive candle, but a candle.

 

Dry: This maintains it's strength and throw for quite some time. I can definitely see enjoying this around the holidays, but the dusty "unsuccessful" fake-candle note never goes away. I think I like it anyways, at least for immediately around the holidays. I'm keeping my bottle and am glad to have it. This one just screams Christmas, so it'll be nice to wear to all those festivities.

This smells like how I imagine storybook sheep to smell. Cuddly, sweet, and soft. I don't know how to pronounce the name, so I just call it my sheep perfume and if I ever run out I don't know what I'll do.

This is one of my favourite scents of all time.

I love me some pumpkin spice.
And I like the idea of pumpkin spicing the f&$# out of everything in my home. So I bought this.
I was not let down. I was slightly afraid that this would be SPIIIIIIICE! and not "pumpkin spice". My worries were unfounded though, because this is pumpkin and spice. There's almost a hint of a bakery type note, but it doesn't specifically smell like baked goods. My husband commented that it reminded him of pumpkin scones - not sweet, just pumpkiny and lots of those autumn baking spices.

In a nutshell: It's a well balanced pumpkin/spice scent. Perfect for fall.

This is exactly as described. I mainly get the dead, red leaves scent. There definitely is a slight smokiness to it as well. There's a sliiiiight bitterness that might be the sap, but it's not bitter in an unpleasant way at all - it smells like a cold autumn day, right at the end of the fall when the trees are bare and people have their chimneys going.

It is very evocative of that time of year right before the snow falls.

In the bottle it's pure decadent chocolatey goodness - like El Dia de los Reyes without the coffee/dusty notes.

 

On the skin, marshmallowy sweetness quickly comes out and balances some of the chocolate. This is SO good.

 

As the scent dries, the chocolate scent becomes a tad dryer, but the marshmallow stays strong so this never turns dusty at all. Overall, it lasts a few hours. The scent is quite strong for an hour or so.

 

This is a total winner, I'm glad I have it!

There's a lot going on in this blend, but it works nicely.

 

It starts off on the skin with a lot of greenery (the moss, I think - but I don't know what raiz de moraz is, so I can't say for sure). The Snake Oil comes out quite a bit and Dorian is definitely there too.

Once this dries, Snake Oil comes out more, and there's a lot of the sweet honey/vanilla on my skin. This is lovely, extra sweet Snake Oil with a hefty note of carnation once it dries on me.

Lovely. I'm pretty sure this is gonna age really well.

I'm a foodie fanatic. This perfume was my "safe" choice that I was certain I'd like, since how can I go wrong with all the vanillary, creamy things I love in this oil? I didn't go wrong, but this is not at all what I was expecting!

 

Wet: Not much going on here...sweet, creamy, this is promising. This might be really good on the skin.

 

Wet on skin: Okay...something is happening...there's shifting. I smell....cornmeal? Is my nose broken? It smells like the inside of a pantry. Sugar, and a mismash of cooking ingredients. It's not unpleasant, but it's definitely not what I expected! This is very evocative of wearing a worn, white apron and opening a well used, well stocked pantry.

 

Dry: This is very close to the skin with almost no throw. I have to huff my wrists to detect it after only 20 minutes. Pumpkin is present now, and it's not at all a spicy pumpkin but isn't vegetal either, so it's nice. Good balance, pumpkin. The cornmeal/pantry smell is still here, but now I can kind of smell the sugar/cream of Boo back there. This is a bit different for me, because normally I amp the heck out of sugar and vanilla. But once this has dried down, it has become a pleasant sort of pumpkin creme-brulee scent.

 

It's comforting and sweet, but very soft. It's not in-your-face-POW CREAM AND SUGAR COZY TIME like Boo is.

My word this is lovely. I knew I couldn't go wrong with a cake scent but hesitated as I was afraid it would be too similar to Eat Me. It's not at ALL.

 

In bottle: Sweet, kinda cakey, but not very complex. Not worried, I know this will change on the skin.

 

On skin wet: HOLY HONEY! A beautiful sweet honey cake scent - mostly honey. Kind of reminds me of the honey in Lush's B Never shower gel, but this is sweeter. I smell absolutely zero currants here.

 

On skin dry: Omg. The lovely sweet honey cake has stayed, but now the currants have come to play. The currants feel like they're on top of this dense, sweet honey cake. I absolutely LOVE this scent. It's my favourite of the Lilith/Weenie releases.

 

This stays pretty close to the skin, unlike Eat Me, which is pretty in your face. This is much quieter than Eat Me, and seriously an entirely different scent. But if you like the other cake scents, you'll probably like this one as long as you don't hate honey.

2015 version!

 

In bottle: planty. Almost more like the leaves of a houseplant, very fresh and lush.

 

On skin wet: Red leaves, alive on the tree, stems.

 

Dry: This has fairly strong throw. This is very interesting. There's a distinct fruitiness here - almost mangoey. Something fruity and juicy anyways. In the back is the crispy dead leaf scent, but on my skin the strongest note is the fruity one. The initial houseplant leaf scent is gone. Like fallen wet leaves and a wallop of mango. It's kinda weird, but also pretty. I think I'd like this better as a room scent rather than a "me" scent.

This definitely has more spice than I was expecting since sugar cookies don't typically have spice in them. It's got definite notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. Happily, the sweetness still comes through on me and the spices don't overwhelm (although from a distance they are the main scent)

After several hours of wear it smells like perfect raw sugar cookie dough. The spice backs off as it wears.

This was quite strong on me. Definitely a clean scent, but not in the ozoney, watery way that you normally associate with "clean" scents. It's bright, I could definitely see a hint of citrus being in there to brighten it up. It does sparkle in a way, lending to a soda-pop quality. Overwhelmingly though, the dominant note is pine. Fresh, sparkling junipery pine. It's very nice, but it feels a little bit masculine to me. I was hoping this would be a perfect scent for me (I am a pale student of arts, haha) but I think this would be better on Mr. Moosue.

This one was a morpher on me, but all stages were great.

In the bottle and for the first 2-3 hours on the skin, it's sweet, slightly tart red wine, something lemony (probably Dorian) and a slight hint of sweet vanilla cakieness (which could be Dorian and cake). Not bad at all.

After the 3 hour mark this turns to something so, so beautiful. Snake Oil, who hadn't been present at all before, shows up and makes this a deep, warm cakey blend. Frosting comes out more, wine backs off, and it's just a warm, cozy, blend that smells like Snake Oil is having a party and Dorian is invited.

Throw is reasonable, and it smells so, so good. I wasn't quite sure about this one because of the smoke notes, but luckily I get none of that. Glad I have a bottle.

In the bottle it smells perfect. Vanilla cake, frosting, and a slightly (veerrry slightly) sharp sugar note that sort of smells like sprinkles, purple ones no less.

On, a bit of an almond note comes out on me too. The whole blend starts to turn towards plasticky, but mostly a really sharp sort of note comes out. It's hard to explain (edit: I think this might be the "dusty" note some are referring to). It's like dyed sugar sprinkles if the dye used to colour them was really bitter. That note begins to overwhelm everything else.

On the late drydown, more cake and frosting come out, but that slightly plasticky/bitter note never leaves.

The throw is not too far although you can smell it on yourself, and the wafts that you get have less of that plasticky/bitter note. Overall I prefer Eat Me as a cake scent.

 

It's okay and I'm hoping age will bring out the vanilla more and burn off that sugar sprinkle scent a tad.

Strangely enough, on my skin wet this smelled almost exactly like O except with some deeper "red" notes. I can't believe there isn't honey in this.

So yes. Dry, there is berry at the forefront, no particular berry is standing out except I will say that the scent smells very "red". It's a dry berry scent, not juicy like the Luaus at all. I'm quite certain that the base is brandy. I get little to no red musk from this, which is nice because it tends to overtake a lot of blends that its in.

Overall, this is a deep brandy base with a bunch of dry red berries at the front. Still smells a little powdery and honeyed like O when its dry.

Not a summery scent at all, I see this more as a cool weather scent. It's very pretty but a decant is enough, especially considering that I have (and love) bottles of O and Womb Furie. This is very similar in tone to those two.

This smells a lot like a shampoo I've had before. Maybe Biolage but more lemony?

At any rate, it smells like shampoo. Fresh and clean.

It starts out a tiny bit Pledgey but that quickly turns to a soft, clean citrus scent with a soft white musk making it smell "pretty".

After an hour or so, anise starts to come out with a vengeance. Anise quickly takes over the entire blend and I'm left with anise with a tiny bit of lemon.

 

Doesn't last particularly long, maybe 2-3 hours. It's okay but not something I'd reach for ever.

In the imp, I absolutely adored this. It smelled purple! It smelled fruity and rich at the same time, just very purple. On the skin, the bright fruity notes vanished in all of about 5 minutes and what was left was a dark, dusty, strong perfume. A very vampy scent, not my thing at all. It lasted several hours and I didn't dislike it, but it's not something I'm eager to wear again.

Looking at the notes, I get a lot of the opium, and the plum is present only at the beginning. I could not detect any clove, and clove is generally a very distinct scent.

How odd. Virtually every review here detects lemon quite strongly, especially in the beginning. While it is sharper and slightly boozier in the beginning, I got no lemon from this whatsoever. The mint is present as well, especially in the beginning but it isn't as strong as mint often is. Instead, its like a creamy mint.

Dried down, this is a very creamy sort of scent, reminiscent of ice cream. It's exceptionally creamy and sweet, vanillary and a little bit chocolatey (it's the chocolate note from How Doth the Little Crocodile). Very foody, overall.

I like it a lot, but don't know that I'd need a bottle. Great summer scent.

These smell a lot like the perfume oil, only less complex (but in a good way). The bath salts are all rich vanillary saffron goodness. I threw in 3.5 small handfuls and had a lovely scented bath.

The grains themselves are very large and they were slightly uncomfortable to sit in for the first few minutes until they dissolved. I barely noticed; I was in olfactory heaven.

This was the first BPTP bath product I've ever used, and I do believe this is going to be a terrible, wonderful addiction.

 

The packaging, as others have mentioned, was not ideal as the oil is very prone to finding places to leak out of.

 

These left my skin soft and very scented. Definitely a really great product. I suspect I'll get 4 baths out of the bag.

I knew I would like this one!

As everyone says, its very sweet. My boyfriend told me it smells like watermelon candy (an observation many here have had also) and he's right. It smells like those 5 cent watermelon jelly candies when its first applied. It isn't all candy though, and there is something pretty and perfumey behind that.

Lasting power and throw are good, and this is a keeper!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this one! It was one of my first BPALs.

Anyways, its herbal and green as everyone else says with a hint of juicy, ripe blackberry. The berry note is sweet rather than tart, and nicely offsets the herbal green notes. Not a very strong scent and doesn't wear very long on me, but is very nice.

This one was a no-go for me, and I kind of expected it would. Wisteria and pretty much all lily notes are doom for me. This blend is no exception. The frankincense doesn't help matters.

A wash off. Will pass this along to someone else.

At first, this is buttery rich vanilla (oh no) and trees. Maybe some mint too.

On, the buttery vanilla goes away a bit, which is good news, but the trees and mint start to smell almost exactly like the ointment you spread all over your chest when you have a cold. It's not looking good for this scent.

 

As it dries, things improve. The vanilla comes back and is no longer buttery whatsoever. A chilly, icy note is present without being minty. There's still a hint of trees, but a sweet chilly vanilla is the dominant note here. The chilly note here is exceptional, this one actually tingles your nose like you're breathing in cold air. Yet its not actually minty. It's marvelous. It's what I keep hoping "cold" and "slushy" notes will be and they so seldom are.

 

Overall, the scent is well done. If you don't like it in the vial, this one smells almost unrecognizable to it's wet scent when it's dry.

I'm glad I have a full decant, but I don't think I'd go through a bottle. The decant will be enjoyed though.

Imp: Yep, thats candy canes alright.

On: Yep. It's minty. As advertised.

As it dries something almost dusty can be smelled close to the skin. Dry, it's less candy cane and more straight up peppermint. Makes your skin cool in the spot you apply, and makes your nose tingle and feel cold if you sniff for too long. The close-to-the-skin dust scent remains. I can't figure out what could be registering as dust.

 

Overall, this is a very interesting novelty scent but I can't see anyone wearing it as an every day perfume. I agree that it might be nice if you have a cold.

If I didn't know better, I'd think I was wearing Alice.

The same carnation is in here, and it's very pretty. The difference is that where Alice has milk and honey, Klara has powdery honey.

Wet, this smells like something I've had from Lush before. There's something very clean smelling about it. Behind the carnation is something snuggly almost, and something ladylike. The powdered honey and the rose, I guess.

This is one of those scents where you probably only need Klara OR Alice, not both. They are subtly different, but I think one or the other would be fine. I'd say Alice is slightly lighter and less perfumey, and that Klara is more grown up smelling, and more traditionally perfumey.

I expected to love this, but unfortunately its one of my least favorite Yules. It's so overwhelmingly ordinary.

In the vial it smells like medicine and is quite unpleasant. Of course it loses this as soon as you put it on, so we have that as a positive. It turns into what smells like a craft store, a Michaels or something. Lots o' cinnamon (the pumpkin pie?), pine and a slight hint of bayberry in the back.

It just sort of reminds me of an exceedingly ordinary fall scented candle.
