  1. So uhhh not long after I posted that, I was in a pretty awful car accident. I'm in the hospital for at least a few days and it looks like I will be spending quite a bit of time recovering. Sooo... more time/need for crafty swaps, I guess? But it'll probably be awhile before I'm put together enough to eun something.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear this. I hope you recover quickly!!

  2. Post holiday slump and I'm itchy for a crafty swap. Does anyone have one in the works or want to co-run with me? I've never run a swap before.

I would be up for cohosting one, if you want. I haven't run one either, but I am a SW ringleader, so it can't be too different.

  3. I love doing swaps and my kid loves opening all the packages that come in. She is always asking when she can join the forum, can she do a swap too, etc. She's still to young, but it got me thinking, do others out there have kids who want to do a swap too. Kids, grands, cousins, nieces, nephews, etc. I'd love to do a swap for the kids in our lives. Any thoughts?

  4.

So, it's mid-August...'Weenies will go up before we know it...any chance of a righteous, solid, full-blown Halloween Switch Witch???

    yes.

Coldie, are you saying yes because you might be one of our fearless ringleaders in this endeavor, or simply because like me, you're hoping for a good old fashion Halloween SW???

    soon..... :ninja:

  5. Emma, looking out my window right now and seeing the huge accumulation of snow that is neverending, I would LOVE a Spring/Green swap. Your ideas sound great.

I would love a pet themed swap as well. My doggies and kitties would be so happy. :) Too bad my kid couldn't be a pet, she'd love to do a swap, too. lol

    .

  6. I love the idea, Em-, of a spring clean craft swap. It would be neat to have something specifically crafted for you and it would be a great way to use supplies that might not be getting any craft love. :) We do a lot of crafting in my house and this sounds like it would be right up my alley.I'll have to watch out for it, when it happens.

  7. I just received this in a swap and based on all the past reviews, I thought I would love it.

    OMG, no!

It reminds me of something my grandmother once wore, which isn't bad, but once I put it on my skin, it smelled like old moth balls and cat pee. I am so sad because I really wanted to love it. I expected to love it. But, alas, it is not to be. :(

  8. My daughter just loves, adores, and traysheers her bottle of Strawberry Moon from '05. The more recent version is a little to green for her skin, but the older version smells sweet and more appropriat for a child. Well, at least on her skin. We are very careful with it though, because it is harder to get a hold of. She does like to sniff and try everything, so maybe well find another favorite soon.

  9. I don't usually do well with red musk or patchouli, however, this blend hits all the right notes on my skin. It smells sexy and enticing. The vanilla and musk really stood out for me and were so pleasant. My husband noticed it on me immediately. He is a huge fan of sandalwood, musk and frankincense and picked out those notes right away.

I decided to try it on him and it smelled amazing on him. It was amazing! This blend on him smelled so manly and just... yummy. And, he liked it too. It's one of two blends he's actually ever asked me to buy for him. Looks like I'll be making another BPAL purchase very soon!!

  10. Oh! My! God!

This scent is amazing! I cannot really describe each of the notes, but I can say it is sexy and masculine yet, oddly, delicate as it dries down (at least on my skin). It's not overpowering and it's actually comforting, as if I were wearing my husband's shirt. As far as the aformentioned boy, he likes it as well and it is amazing on him too!!

  11. I agree with the above posts. It smells just like Ludens Cough drops in the bottle. On my skin, it turns into Red Hot candies. Unfortunately , it doesn't last long, but it yummy while it does!! This one is a keeper and maybe a back up as well!

  12. A friend asked for a list for the Cobweb/Trunk show and this was an impulse buy. I am not good with notes, but I get sweet, lemon, coconut, and a possible floral. Smells beautiful, but I am just not 100% sure it's for me. Will have to test another time to see how I feel.

  13. I got an imp of Scurvy to sniff and Yay!!! I love it even though it did smell very candy-like. When I opened it, everyone in my house asked if I had jellybeans. I love the lime scent but it doesn't last long on my skin.

  14. This one reminded me very much of Milk Moon '05. I didn't pick up the fig at first, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. Something in the drydown did not agreee with my chemistry and it just ended up smelling... funky. I'll stick with MM'05
