    Summer's Last Will and Testament

In the bottle: Bright, bold citrus. wet: More citrus, but with something very sharp behind it. I think that is the geranium in it. drydown: This one isn't really much of a morpher on me. I don't really get any of the traditional floral notes, just the spicier floral of the geranium. The sharpness dulls a bit, but there is still something vaguely unpleasant about this blend. final verdict: I regret buying a bottle. This is one that I could keep and wear occasionally, but I would rather wear stuff I truly love wearing.

    Stinky

On me, Stinky smells just like baby powder. Maybe at the beginning, I get faint whiffs of the honey and the milk notes, but the overwhelming scent is that of baby powder. This is definitely not for me.

    Windward Passage

This smells like dial soap. I mean, just like dial soap on my skin. My boyfriend uses dial and I did a side by side sniff test with him and he couldn't tell the difference either. Definitely not what I would want to wear for perfume.

    Creepy

In the bottle: carmel and rum. Wet: A VERY light throw - I can smell the carmel and the apples mostly and a bit of the cream. Drydown: This smells exactly like caramel apples. This might be a little foody for me, but a wearable kind of foody (as opposed to, say, Lambs-Wool which I love to smell, but I don't want to smell like Lambs-Wool). I think the light throw also helps here to make it a little more subtle and a little less BLAM! Food in your face. Verdict: I'm keeping my bottle, but I suspect it will take a LONG time for me to finish it. This was the surprise hit for me among the Halloween scents this year.

    Pomona

In the bottle: Fruit with a nutty sort of background. Wet: More fruit, but this has gone sharp and plasticy on me. Drydown: The apple becomes more and more dominant, and the plastic smell remains. It's a little better than the wet stage, but still. Yuck! Verdict: Swap pile.

    Bite Me

in the bottle: almond. Wet: more creamy almond. This is exactly what hecate smells like on me in the wet stage before MUSK MUSK MUSK. Drydown: The almond scent it still there, but it has gone powdery, like all of the rosy floral scents do on me. Verdict: Yet another scent that ends up smelling like talcum powder. Almond is not a long lasting scent on my skin. For the swap pile.

    The Zieba Tree

in the imp: Lemony and wonderful. Wet: holy floral, batman!. I get no resins, no fruit, just a huge burst of nose tingling, get it away from me floral. Drydown: The floral starts to fade and then it just smells like soap. I can almost smell a hint of something resinous, like the sandalwood, but it is overpowered by the soapy smell. Verdict: I wanted to like this very badly, but I don't. It takes a very very special floral to work on my skin.

    Detestable Putrescence

I am with Molls and Monster - this quickly turned to vanilla plastic on my skin. I had to wash it off.

    Pumpkin IV (2009)

This one smells so much like Pumpkin I on me that I had to put one on each wrist and do a smell test. This one is a little darker than Pumpkin I, but the overwhelming scent I get here is still spice. This one is a little muskier than Pumpkin I and lacks a bit of the sweetness. I like this well enough to keep the imp, but not so well as I would want to buy a bottle.

    Boo

This smells like caramel to me. In the bottle, it smells like caramel. Wet, it smells like caramel. The dry down? Still smells like caramel. I don't know where there linens are in this, but that note is absolutely lost on my skin. On the upside, I do like caramel. I ended up with two imps of this, and I think I will keep them but two imps is probably the perfect amount of this scent for me.

    Pumpkin III (2009)

This one really surprised me. I added it to my order at the last minute, but of the three pumpkin scents I have tried, it is my favorite. In the imp, it is all sweetness - I guess the sweetness I am smelling is the pitch? I am not sure, but this is lovely. On wet, it smells pretty much like it did in the bottle, with the pumpkin add a bit of buttery-ness without overpowering the more delicate scents that it is blended with. As it dries, the fir comes out more and adds even more depth to this. A surprise hit and I am considering a bottle.

    Pumpkin I (2009)

I thought that this would be my favorite pumpkin scent, but I was wrong. I like this well enough, but the pumpkin note here is extremely strong on me and is almost enhanced by the spice. As a result, this smells really foody on me. I think I might keep my imp and use it as an oil for a room scent as I LIKE the smell, but I can't see myself actually wearing this, especially not on an every day basis.

    Psychological Horror

This was not soft, floral or unassuming on my skin. It was sharp and astringent and it almost smelled sour. I put it on and I tried really hard to wait for it to dry but I had to rinse it off as it was almost burning my nostrils. The boyfriend walked in and asked what the horrible smell was. I don't know what all the notes are in this, but something in it does NOT like me.

    A Fit of Artistic Enthusiasm

This reminds me very much of a more feminine version of Jolly Roger ... sort of Jolly Roger and Olokun combined. My skin loves salty aquatics and I have a bottle of Jolly Roger already, and I actually like this better. There is a nice floral high note in the perfume that tempered the woody salty aquatic smell. This is definitely a keeper for me.

    Soothing System

in the bottle: Wine-like grape juice wet: grape juice dry down: stale smelling grape juice This is the second scent I have tried recently that is supposed to be "boozy" and it has just turned out smelling stale on me. I scrubbed and scrubbed and couldn't get the grape juice smell off of my wrists. This was awful on me.

    The Girl

in the bottle: musk, and … amber maybe? And a little jasmine. Wet: it is … gone? I can't even find it. After huffing my wrist (and probably getting some on my nose), I can kind of smell it. It's musky still, for me, and I get the ylang ylang as a bit of tang. But it's a wee bit powdery as florals often are for me. I actually wish I got a little more of the jasmine because that might balance out the musky tangyness. Drydown: Okay, now I can smell it and the jasmine is amping up a little to complement the rest of it. I also get a kind of plastic-y smell off of this. Verdict: I MIGHT keep the decant, but I don't need a bottle. EDIT: I think I might have gotten the lingering scents of the previous perfume I tried. On second trying, this is awesome. I love the soft, full scent. It kind of reminds me of Bulgari perfume. I am definitely buying a bottle.

    Suck It

Sexy and suckable: black cherry brandy. decant: smells like cherries. Wet: It smells like a black cherry candy - like one of those ones that has a gummi outside and a liquid center. Drydown: Smells like stale or musty candies. This one does not dry down particularly well. I never really get a "boozy" smell, though I suspect that the staleness that I am smelling is the booziness coming out. Verdict: I'm glad I only got a decant; this one is a swapper. I do not like it - and, unlike some other, the scent WON'T GO AWAY.

    Dia de los Muertos

***2009 Version *** in the bottle: Really, really, really sweet florals. It reminds me the perfume that my college roommate wore our sophomore year (she used to really strongly spray it on). wet: Wet, it is still very floral, though tempered with a foody sweetness. I have to assume that is the cactus, and or the candies. The smells is still overwhelmingly floral. drydown: ... and, more floral. It smells like jasmine, as others have noted. Although, unlike many florals, this one did not go to babypowdergrandma on my skin, but kept its integrity. Staying power was moderate - four or five hours, though fades quickly. verdict: I got a decant from one of the circles. I think I'll keep my decant, but no need to buy a bottle.

    Julia Stone

Bottle: In the bottle, this smells a little like honey suckle and cucmber. It does have a "green" feeling to it and I would classify it as a sweet aquatic. It kind of reminds me of Olokun, or something like that. Wet: The smell of it wet really does smell just like it does in the bottle. I like the wet smell very much. Drydown: For me, it dries into something kind of powdery - it smells almost like talcum powder on me. I think there must be some kind of floral in this, like rose or lavender as those always do that to my skin. It's also making my nose itch, which makes me think it might be lavender. Disappointing. The more it dries down, the worse it is. I'm going to have to scrub it off. Disappointing. Verdict: Swap.

Invasion of the Flesh-Eating Reindeer from Uranus

In the bottle: gingerbread with a touch of vanilla? I think those must be the rum balls. Wet: More gingerbread, but with a warmer base. Whatever that higher note I smelled in the bottle is, it doesn't show up on my skin. Drydown: Still gingery. This one stays very true to the original wet scent. Despite the strong gingery smell, it doesn't really smell overly foody. I think the musk must be acting in this to take it away from being horrifically sweet into something that is really quite wearable. This to me is definitely a wintery scent. Verdict: I think I like my musks tamed with spices rather than florals. I don't love super foody scents, and I still love this. In fact, normally I wouldn't bother reviewing a scent that already has plenty of reviews, but I liked this one so much I couldn't resist. This one is a keeper!

    Giallo

In the bottle: I smell something woody, a bit of the orange blossom, definitely some vanilla and the red musk. Every time I smell the bottle, I pick out new notes. Wet: Smoky orange. I can still smell the citrus notes from the bottle, but that woody, smoky smell is even stronger. Dry Down: The citrus notes and the woodiness almost start to fade, and I get the jasmine, the musk and the vanilla more. As dries more and more, I start to smell the plum in this too. 10 Minutes Later: This is getting more and more floral on me, which is a little disappointing. I'm losing some of the darker, woodier base. Verdict: This is an extremely well mixed blend. I think that all of the elements work together very nicely, and it smells ... expensive, if that makes sense. I thought this would be my least favorite of the three Dark Delicacies that I ordered, but I actually quite like it. I think this would age well, since it's been experience that citruses and florals mellow a little more with age.

    Alien Invasion

Slick, spiced space fruits and residual tentacle goo. In the bottle : Very citrus-y. The only scent I can specifically identify is grapefruit/yuzu. And I love grapefruit and yuzu, so I'm excited. Wet: Spicy grapefruit. There is definitely a spiced note that is coming through on my skin that isn't present in the bottle. Dry Down: This is still a clean, bright citrus smell. I can smell something floral or musky that is trying to come through in the background as others have noted, but my body chemistry amps the bright citrus notes like crazy, so I still smell grapefruit, but with the edge. It does seem to fade quickly though - this is one that would need a mid-day reapplication. 15 minutes later: BLECH! I smell the tentacle goo now, and I do not like it. Verdict: Needs more trials, might go to the swap bag.
