  1. IMP: Creamy, spicy, warm floral.

WET: It smells like a yummy winter drink - bergamot, honey, spices and warm milk. Definitely foodie but not too sweet or overcloying.

DRY: Once it dries the carnation stars to emerge - again, this is not a heavy floral note. After a couple of hours all I can smell is a hint of rose and spices. Lovely, but I wish it lasted longer.

Alice is my ultimate comfort scent, just perfect to wear during a lazy rainy afternoon.

I love it and I will need another bottle of it soon!

  2. IMP: Floral laundry detergent. It reminds me of clean clothes drying in the sun.

WET: Buttery and creamy floral, very heavy.

DRY: Sadly I had to wash it off after about fifteen minutes because it was making me a bit nauseated.

I am sad because I had high hopes for Dirty, as I find the scent of clean linen lovely.

Obviously I do not care about smelling like butter, especially because this was supposed to be a fresh summer oil, so off to the swap pile.

  3. IMP: Orange and spices.

WET: It reminds me of Christmas cookies, a very comforting scent indeed. Sadly the cinnamon oil is making my wrist itch!

DRY: It has almost no lasting power on me.

I got Red Devil as a frimp and even though I like the smell, the fact that it has no throw and my skin is still irritated after an hour sends it straight to my swap list.

  4. IMP: Almonds! The smell reminds me of Amaretto liqueur and soft almond pastry, bitter and sweet and the same time.

WET: Where did all the almonds go? Sweet incense smoke.

DRY: After three hours the myrrh completely took over, even though I can still smell something very sweet, almost foodie.

I am going to keep the imp because when Hecate is dry it smells gorgeous on me, but I am a bit disappointed that my skin totally absorbed the almond notes!

  5. IMP: Definitely a foodie scent. Juicy, sugary pineapple and a hint of cherry cake.

WET: Huge throw, too strong for my likings! All I smell is very sweet pineapple.

DRY: Thankfully the throw subsided a lot within fifteen/thirty minutes. I still smell pineapple, but the cherry cake came back and I get a bit of burnt, caramelised sugar too.

While this is not a bad scent, this is definitely not something I would wear all time.

I really wanted to like it, mostly because the "hot buttered toast and roast turkey" bit in the description seemed so amazingly weird, but it is almost all pineapple on me. :(

I am keeping the imp, but definitely not getting a bottle.
