    Sakura

This does scream SPRING FLOWERS! I find the flowers here are well-blended, and at first it's hard to pick them out. After a few minutes of the spray settling around me, I start to distinguish the scent of wisteria and cherry blossoms, then the iris slowly peeks out (but it's not the powdery type I'm used to). There's no sweetness at all in these flowers. I agree with windbourne's comment about the dryer-sheet-like scent that appears later and I'm not sure if it's the wisteria or hibiscus that's creating it, but I also don't find it takes away from the scent. It's strong too, I can still smell it hrs. later after just a couple of sprays. This is a very floral, feminine, and pretty scent. I find this particular floral blend to have a very calming effect, which I really like. I'm so glad I got this!

    Voyeurs Among the Cherry Blossoms

Very creamy vanilla, cherry blossoms and moss! It's so pretty! The light vanilla musk peeks out after a few minutes. This is my favorite cherry blossom scent so far.

    Nostrum Remedium

I found this strangely wonderful at first but could not figure out the notes, I was very surprised one of them is wasabi. I get the tea, but not the honey or wasabi. It's a very fresh and light unisex tea scent (I'm getting a little aloe too). Unfortunately it starts turning very soapy on my skin (tea notes have been doing that lately ). I find it a very fresh "just stepped out of the shower" clean scent, complete with soap.

    Iago

Iago reminds me of Haunted but with leather and thankfully just a hint of vetiver.

    PX68

I'm getting florals and oranges that are similar to "Florida Water", some sandalwood, a linen note (similar to the one in Antique Lace), resins, and some smokiness too. As it dries it's starts slightly powdery on me. PX68 reminds me of an old-fashioned perfume. It's a bit too strong for me but a very well-blended fragrance.

Cinnamon Sugar Cookies & Egg Nog

In the imp I get a not too boozey egg nog and cake. On my skin I start getting the sugar cookies, and just a little spiciness from the cinnamon (which I'm usually afraid of but don't find too noticeable here), and then the egg-nog appears. Once it dries it reminds me of a Lait de Chevre (without the coffee) and buttery sugar cookies!

    Ides of March 2010

This is pure for me! This starts off a smooth, creamy bergamot/lemony musk. I'm getting whiffs of vanilla? It must be the benzoin. I'm confused because at times the throw is warm and sweet vanilla, other times it's a cooler and refreshing creamy bergamot/lemon musk scent! Later the amber amps a little more more for me. It's complex and delicious, it makes me think of a creamy lemonade at times. Perfect for the warmer months. Love, love and I don't even like bergamot!

    Roses, Pearls, and Diamonds

In the bottle this reminds me a bit of a grown-up and red rose version of Snow White. On my skin I get the same creamy coconut from Dia, it's blended beautifully with the fresh red rose (it doesn't have that bite or sharpness rose scents can have for me sometimes), the orris also blends well with the rose to making a gorgeous and sophisticated scent. I get some sweetness and the crystalline musk reminds me of the musk in The Girl. Good throw, but didn't as long as I'd hoped. You should definitely try this if you like rose scents!

    Echo

Initially this reminds me a little of The Harp Cnoc I'Chosgair but instead of tiare, it's tuberose. I'm getting a soft, creamy tuberose (and it's really beautiful, not the cloying tuberose I'm used to smelling). It's very pretty, I actually like the throw it gives more than sniffing it up close on my skin where I get a slightly bitter thing happening, I don't get any bitterness in the throw. Later on this gets more complex, and at times it seems I get a lot of vanilla/sandalwood, other times it's the amber that amps (this amber is almost sparkly on me), and some sniffs it's pure creamy tuberose. I'm glad I got two bottles of this! Note: I tried layering this with Narkissos like recommended, but it didn't work for me on me this way, Narkissos overpowered Echos!

    Snake Oil Bath Oil

So excited! I must admit that this is my first bpal bath oil I'm actually using in the bath, so I don't have others to compare to. It's Snake Oil! I put about a cap's worth in my bath and settled into the warm Snake Oil-infused water.. mmm...could life get any better than this? Luxurious, decadent, sexy, orgasmic....what else can I say? Is there anyway to petition for this one to be permanent? The only thing I wished it would be a little stronger (I added a little more to keep my bath scented and used it as an after-bath moisutrizer). After my bath, the scent was gone after about an hour on my skin, which could be good if you plan to apply another scent. It could be that I'm used to stronger-scented bath products. I found it very moisturizing but not greasy, my skin absorbed it really well (I have normal/dry skin). I will go through this pretty quickly and will be needing at least a couple more bottles!

    Bread-and-Butter-Fly

I was so excited to try this one because I love bread notes. Initially this is really delicious bread and butter, it reminds me a bit of the the cake in Huesos de Santo. Unfortunately within a couple of minutes on my skin it starts turning soapy, five minutes later it's all soap! I'm so sad about this, I have no idea why it would turn soapy, perhaps the tea? I will try this again, I'm just not ready to give on it because I love the way it smells before it turns on me. ETA: decided to retry it today and this time I almost got no soap and much more of the delicious bread note (and the tea note in Dorian but without the lemon) ! I wonder if it was something hormonal that made it get soapy on me the first time I tried it?

    Lovers in a Carp Streamer

This is a really delicious and refreshing cranberry and red currant scent, after it awhile the mint and tobacco come out a little, but it's still very well blended. I just wish it would last a bit longer on the skin and retain that initial cranberry and red currant scent a little more. I think this will be great for the warmer months.

    Different smells/colors, same perfume

I get a lot of O from my first bottle too, but this one has even more of it, and actually smells like aged O to me, it's more rich, whereas my first bottle smells more of fresh O.

    Different smells/colors, same perfume

I just received my back-up Womb Furie bottle from the lab, and decided to sniff it before putting it away, to my surprise it's whoa on the O! I took out the other bottle to compare (which I ordered from when it was released) and it's definitely more Snake Oil in that one. I'm not complaining at all because I LOVE O and Snake Oil, I'm just happily surprised with this batch variation.

    Chaste Moon 2010

This version is definitely very different from the 2005 one, which is one of my favorite florals and I multiple bottles of. I'm not getting any creaminess here, it's a blend of strong florals, well blended, possibly a mix of gardenia, lilies, magnolia and skin musk. One of the flowers in it is too heavy for me (I think gardenia). .. after a couple hours on my skin, this has turned into generic dept. store floral perfume.

    The Harp of Cnoc I'Chosgair

In the bottle I get sandalwood, slightly medicinal amber, and tiare. The scent strongly reminds me of this Hawaiian Tiare hair stuff I used to regularly use. On my skin it turns into a creamy, ambery/sandalwood tiare scent, I get very little vanilla from it I think it adds a little creaminess. I'm not getting any cardamom...wow, I'm really amping the tiare. I went through a tiare phase a couple years ago and have recently noticed it can be a little to heavy a flower for me. This smells very beachy and tropical because of the tiare, I think this is will be a nice spring/summer floral blend if you like tiare. I'm a little disappointed this turned into a mostly tiare scent on me, I definitely won't be needing the back-up bottle I have coming I may not end up not keeping this one either, I'm starting to get a headache from it. ETA: I started getting a little more vanilla and amber the longer I wore it, but still a lot tiare.
  17. I was just recommending that Love Potions scent to someone! I agree, Sea of Glass, maybe layered with Squirting Cucumber? Here's some others: The Black Swan Water lily, peony, seaweed absolute, lotus, Spanish moss, violet leaf, and marine accord Danube Rhododendron and bellflower petals swirl through deep, cool, dark aquatic notes. The Gibbous Moon Moonflower, Madonna lily, orris, white ginger, cucumber, hyacinth, and Irish moss

    Enchanted Wood Florist

Wet I get a sweet, juicy tropical floral, unfortunately once it dries it strongly reminds me of a certain dept. store floral/fruity perfume I've smelt before and don't like, I can't remember the name of it.

    Black Widow Circus

In the bottle it's dark, earthy fruits. On my skin, I'm getting smokey (tobacco) spicy apples, plum and vetiver. It captures the scent of a Black Widow Circus perfectly! As it dries the dark smokiness and earthiness start to fade and fruit come out more, it settles into a delicious spicy plum/apple and vetiver scent and it's not sweet but just a little tart. I also detect a teeny bit of balsam and mint in there.. really nice. Not much throw but it lasts.

    The Confectionary

This smells like girly fruit punch and cotton candy. Fruity tartness and lots of sugar, a pink scent. I'm also getting something dusty when it dry, unfortunately it fades a bit too quickly on me.

    The Steeple

Very interesting, this reminds me strongly of the background scent in Nosferatu, not as "dark" though. It's a very well blended green/herbal and I'm also getting a little dirt.

    Enkhespalos

I really like this one, definitely my favorite from the Ode to Mars, a very comforting, sexy and masculine scent. It's a man sitting in his leather couch, next to his bookcase, smoking tobacco and drinking cognac..
  23. cfrancesca

    Thouros

Really nice sweet citrus and rose, almost candy sweet on my skin. This reminds me of the rose in Blood Rose, very grown-up but with the sweet tartness from the lychee it really works. It's not too complex, but you like rose scents I recommend you try this one, I think it will be great in the warmer months.

    Enyalios

Very astringent and herbal at first, settles into a mostly resinous, patchouli, juniper blend. These notes together seem to create a scent of mentholy, herbal woods.
  25. I tried the Olive Leaf line awhile ago, and I vaguely remember the scent. I would recommend Banded Sea Snake, I personally didn't find the Snake Oil to be too strong (which I would have preferred), it's really great one, and I find it very comforting too. Another one that comes to mind is Tabella, it has olive blossom (not leaf) but it's another great scent that is a little similar to Olive Leaf but not as herbal.
