  1. Beautiful scent! It is heavy on the lilac and violet on me, with a warmth in the background that I take is from the amber. On drydown, a bit more of the oakmoss comes out.

If you like the atmosphere spray, you will probably also like this :)

It is fitting for a beautiful, but cruel character like Lucille!

  2. This is a very light and fresh fougere on me. I get a teensy bit of blackcurrant and tea as well, but not much in the way of mint. Also, if you are afraid of the decay notes mentioned, I am not getting any of those here :)

To my nose it reads like a cousin to Venustas, actually, so if you enjoyed that one you might also like this.

This could be worn both by men and women, in my opinion!

I quite like it. It's elegant and light and would work for many different occasions. I'm glad I could find a bottle :)

  3. Normally Snake Oil doesn't work well for me, but I wanted to give this one a try because I love linden blossom and there are entirely too few blends with that note.

I am not getting much in the way of Snake Oil at all, actually. I am getting a bit of linden blossom along with a lot of lily, so if you're wary of the lily note you might want to proceed with caution.

I quite like it, but unfortunately it faded quickly on my skin.

  4. I am mostly getting blackberry, orange and honey, but it seems well-blended with all the other notes. If you are afraid of the jasmine, there is no need to be, because it is barely there.

An exotic, fruity-spicy blend that really evokes some kind of caravan journey for me - maybe a caravan where the Carnaval found Faiza originally? :D

  5. I have no idea how half of these notes smell like, but I will do my best to make a review anyway :D

This starts off as a snowy, slushy outdoors scent. The sage is quite prominent. There is something sweet peeking out from underneath, and it might be the mysterious "swamp tea" mentioned?

There is a teensy touch of berries, but aside from this I am not sure I can identify any of the notes.

It is a very fresh scent and fits the concept very well - it is kind of like being in the forest from Princess Mononoke with all the little white forest spirits milling about your feet.

The scent does turn sweeter and less outdoorsy as it dries.

    I quite like it :)

  6. This is pure chocolate in the bottle, but on my skin I get almost no chocolate save for a tiny bit of creaminess. The orange blossom and jasmine come to the front, with jasmine as the most dominant. It's a very soft and nice jasmine, not sharp at all on me.

One might think this could be a cloying scent because of the marshmallow and chocolate, but on me it is very springlike and fresh and feels mostly like a slightly creamy floral. :)

  7. I was curious about this one, because I love the idea of a lilac fougere, but honey can go wonky on me (same with lime). So I took a chance!

And sadly I don't think it's really for me.

This is like a slightly masculine kind of honey scent (there is that wonky honey!) with a bit of lime in the background. It is certainly different from anything I have smelled before, but ultimately I think I will never wear it.

  8. This is a very fresh and beautiful jasmine tea - with emphasis on the tea; there is not a very heavy jasmine in this at all. It feels just like the jasmine earl grey I sometimes drink, and it would be perfect for a hot summer day :)

  9. This is indeed like a pink version of the snow note! I don't specifically get any rose, but it definitely feels girly and pink, while at the same time chilly from the snow.

I really like it, and while I can see the comparison to scents like Snow White, to me they are still different enough that I am happy to have a bottle of each :)

  10. This is rather heavy on the lemon verbena, especially while wet.

As it dries down, there is more of the rosewood and a floral quality from the osmanthus.

It's very springlike and pretty, but not really something I would normally wear.

  11. I'm not usually big on chypres, but this one is soooo pretty :)

It really has a springtime rain quality to it, very refreshing and cool. The bamboo lends it a nice greenness too.

I am considering getting a bottle since I have nothing like this in my collection.

If you love fresh, aquatic or green scents, be sure to give this one a try!

  12. This is just lovely!

It reminds me of similar scents like Hope and Fear Set Free or Hesiod's Phoenix. If you like those, you will love this too. On the other hand, it is quite similar, so if you already have those, you might not need this one as well.

  13. This is a honeyed wood scent on me - it feels very refined, and the wood is warm and beautiful. Honey often doesn't work on me, but this one is kept firmly in check.

There is a gilded background of resins as well, which lends further warmth to the scent.

This is very beautiful if you love woody notes!

  14. On me, this is like a leathery violet perfume. I'm actually not getting any of the coconut, which is fine by me.

The leather is a light, definitely white sort, and it doesn't have any of the new car smell that leathers can sometimes have on me.

Overall, it's a very pretty leathery floral, and feels rather different from other scents in my collection, so I might get a bottle.

  15. This is a bright, cheerful strawberry + cherry blossom on me. I was happy to discover that the red musk is not prominent, as it usually amps on my skin. But not this time, apparently.

It is fun and would be great for a summer's day at the beach or something. I'm still undecided if I need more of it, though.

  16. This is SUPER faint on me, so I'm not sure I'm very good at picking out the notes.

It is sweet from the honey and a little sort of floral-ly, maybe from the dragon's blood resin. I'm getting a teensy bit of pear if I really concentrate.

It's a very nice scent, but I can almost not smell it on my skin, so I won't be needing more of it.

  17. This feels like it has a cream note in it, which is probably a mixture of the vanilla and lotus, I would guess? It is a subtle and sweet floral with a background of amber. Not getting much of the oak, and I don't know what tea blossom smells like so I can't comment on that :)

It feels very spring-like and I would say it is in the same family as Mouse's Long and Sad Tale.
