  1. I'm looking for the old version of Avon's soft musk which my mum used to wear in 90s . Here is a picture of the bottle:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/SOFT-MUSK-COLOGNE-SPRA...1QQcmdZViewItem

She has loved this one very much. She said that the current ones being produced are not same as the previous. She said that one was a strong perfume.

I couln't find the notes of this one. I do not have any idea if they share the same perfume notes with the current ones. Here is the description of the current one:

Warm, woodsy musk with bright notes of rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang.

Could you help me please to find a bpal oil that resembles the old version Soft Musk? I'm planning to give as a gift to my mum at her birthday :luv2:

  2. I'm a bit confused about different violet types. Parma violet, african violet... What is the difference in the smell ? Also, it's said that there is no violet flower absolute. None. Not since the 19th century when ionone was synthesized, one of the very first synthetic florals. It is just too expensive to harvest all those tiny little flowers which do not produce much apparently. So now all the violet oils are sythtetic....

  3. Is there any bpal oils that resemble to old-fashioned perfume Lancome Magie Noir?

    Here is the description:

Magie Noir, black magic in French, is a heady, and enveloping scent in the classic oriental tradition. Exotic top notes of hyacinth, cassia, bergamot, rasberry, and galbanum,a sensual heart of jasmine, ylang-ylang, Bulgarian rose, lily of the valley, narcissus, honey, tuberose, and orris, and rich basenotes including spices, sandalwood, ambergris, cedarwood, patchouli, oakmoss, musk, civet all combine to create real "black magic". 4. A few days ago, I was at the Layette stores. In the rare perfumes section, I've tried Paris Rouge by Delle Grazie. It was really nice and attractive. I don't know but it has reminded me Drangon's Milk a bit. Here are the ingredients:

Paris Rouge’s base notes are a rare mixture of oils, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Skin Musks, that form the visceral element of sensuality, which at the heart of the scent is being reined in with Rose, Jasmine and Transparent Floral, for sensibility, and elevated at the top of the note to a spiritual finish of Bergamot, Freesia and Heliotrope.

Also there are real diamond particles inside the perfume. It says that:

" Paris Rouge Chapter I, “The Scent of Diamonds”, is the worlds one and only magical perfume by Delle Grazie, infused with energized (tachyonized) diamonds during the maceration of the fragrance, by the secret principles of Leonardo Da Vinci, to create the perfume’s positive charge of hope, love and peace . In addition, inside every flagon a tachyonized crystal amalgamates the amplified vibes of the scent with the aura of the woman; So that the scent of no two women will be alike. "

  5. I just bought a few bars of soap from a lady in Dallas and it's called Arabian Musk. Oh  I see her once a year so it will be a long time before I can get more soap.

Is Arabian musk and White musk the same thing? I just adore the Arabian and would love to find a perfume with lot's of it in it.

I don't even care if it's by another company. Any recommendations?

I'm also in love with Arabian musk. Once I have bought Arabian musk from the site www.thepurplepeople.org . This scent is to die for

Arabian and White musks are different in my opinion. Arabian musk is a bit more chilly. I compared the Body shop white musk and arabian musk from purplepeople. They are absolutely different. Arabian musk is better....

:whisper: I love this scent alone.....

However, I haven't tried a BPAL oil taht contains Arabian musk...

  6. I had high hopes. I indeed liked the smell wafting around me. However, someone said that " Here, something smells like hajji misk..!!
