  1. ROSES! It starts out light a fresh, like it was just picked, but like rose blends tend to do on me, the rose gets stronger and stronger till I have to wash it off or get a headache.

  2. all cocoa and rum. Boozy notes always tend to over power in most other blends, but this is a nice mixture. It kind of goes a little floral, but this is really weird. I'm starting to get a very strong wood note, like being in a log cabin with a fire going. I was scared I wasn't going to be able to wear this to work because of the booze notes, but this is so pretty and woody. It reminds me of spending the winter in Eureka Springs when my dad was working there, and sleeping in the loft of a wood cabin and a fire going with snow outside

  3. I wasn't even going to try this because I don't really care for mints, but grabbed an imp of it off a forumite.

In the vial, yeah, its minty. When I put it on, I'm not getting too much mint. It starts to lose any semblance of mint as it dries and starts to smell fairly masculine.

But then........what's this? Its starting to smell a lot like my beloved Buck Moon! I'm starting to wonder if I got a mislabeled imp. I hope not because I'm in love with this and I'm thinking of ordering a bottle.

  4. I still think "pr0n" is brilliant, but then again that's my low humor.

By the way, my CS from BPAL has always astounded me. I sometimes get literally knocked on my can because of it, as you can see by my number of Thank You Lab entries, each one meant sincerely.

As for government cheese, I have to agree with the person who said,'As long as it's really good cheese." I suspect the French Government puts out really good cheese. (really good free wine, too, as free wine goes).

American Government cheese.........*shudders* It taste good, but works better than any laxative on the market :P

  5. I'm pretty much getting all leather with this. Its almost exactly like Dead Man's hand on me. I get a touch of myrrh that sweetens it and a little bit of amber to add a powdery like tone to it, but mostly, its just leather. I'm kind of iffy on leather.

  6. it starts out very masculine, but in about 30 minutes, I'm getting this beautiful woody tonka scent and a slight undertone of leather. I was going to count this out and put it in the swap pile because its too masculine, but wow, after about 30 minutes, I'm so in love with this. I love woody scents and the tonka adds a nice bit of sweetness. Thankfully, the leather and incense only compliment and don't over power

  7. erm........in the imp, its the great honey and spice scent.

When it dries, it smells like stink bugs???

Cinnamon never goes right on me and Ginger is always iffy. I guess together, they don't work at all on me. This is straight stink bugs.

    *sighs*

Why does cinnamon hate me so?

  8. Sweet figgy wood!

I don't get any patchouli. I'm not sure what black palm smells like and if that is what is giving the wood smell. The cocoa doesn't register at all, but cocoa usually disappears on me anyway. The fig is amped a lot, but its ok because I like fig.

I'm mainly getting freshly carved wood and fig.

  9. A vital, bold scent, throbbing with sensuality. Essence of dragon’s blood resin, thickened with myrrh and cherry, with a trickle of clove.

I'm not getting much cherry at all. Dry, this is all dragon's blood and clove with myrrh. Its a little musky and sexy........but WHY am I smelling cinnamon? There's a faint undercurrent of cinnamon. Please don't go cinnamon on me.

I'm guessing its the clove taking over, but mixed with the cherry and dragon's blood is reading cinnamon.

I guess I'd sum this up as spicy, musky dragon's blood

  10. In the imp, its cinnamon and its scary, because cinnamon doesn't work on me. It either leaves welts on my wrist or is just stinky

As this dries, its vetivert and cinnamon. I'm only getting a little bit of dragon's blood, but this is still really strong. The vetiver and cinnamon eventually dry to a strange woody scent that I'm not sure if I like or not

*edit---here comes the itchy welts........ouch. Time to wash this one off. Pity, because I was just starting to like the smell*
