  1. In the imp:

    Light clean floral lemon.

    Wet:

Honeysuckle? Neroli? Jasmone? Twisted, pretty. Good for an ultra girly day. No lemon at all.

    Drydown:

As I leave it on, it seems to be morphing into a very heavy old lady floral. Jasmine and green tea. This smells like Lush's Flying Fox.

    Later in the day:

    Holy soapy badness, batman!

Verdict: Well, the imp seems to be MIA, but if I can find it, it'll go up for swap.

  2. In the bottle:

A weird overly perfumey floral plastickey ick. A tiny bit of spice somewhere in the background. Fruit? Wine? I think that's what I am picking up as plastic.

    Wet:

Flowers. Spicy flowers and a little bit of powdrer. Some sort of green stems?

    Drydown:

Honey? Honey and wine? and a little chocolate.

    The next morning:

A really foul BO sort of smell, but I shower in the morning, so this isn't too bad, I guess.

    Verdict:

Unknown. I wrote swap at the bottom of my notes, but I like the description that I wrote out here. I'll put it back into the "to be tried" box, I guess.

  3. In the vial- Peach cider. Yum. It's 9am, and this makes me want a snakebite*. It's maybe a little sweeter than peach cider, very juicy. Tasty. I smell no musk, no amber.

On skin-Oh, hey, there's the musk. It's fairly unoffensive, but I'm not sure I want to smell like this. I can't pick out the amber, but my nose is pretty uneducated.

Drydown- The musk seems to have mellowed, and the amber dominates now, with the musk and the peaches peeking through occasionally.

Verdict- Pretty, but ultimately, probably not me. It's the first scent I've tried, however, so I'll hang onto it for a little while until I've tried more.

*Half beer and half cider. 'Round my house we make them from Heinekkin and Wyders Peach cider.

  4. My first review:

I got a candle scented with this from a friend on Saturday.

Yum! I don't smell the maple that people talk about, nor the fruit that the lab description mentions. I smell carmelized sugar, both brown and white, and a bit of butter.

I really like this candle, but I don't think I'd like to wear the scent.

Sadly, a moth flew into my candle last night, so now it smells like Sugar Skull + dead moth... :P
