  1. In bottle: green. Crisp lime and wasabi.

Wet: Irish Spring soap with wasabi.

Drydown: Mostly wasabi with a bit of soap, something powdery, and lime.

By now I should know better than to doubt Beth's ability, but I was skeptical about the wasabi in this. She nailed it. This is a great eye-opener and is super refreshing. It has a pretty strong throw- I just used two small drops and I can smell it very clearly, so I will have to use sparingly. My bottle of Velvet Cthuhlu is assured of being one of my go to scents this summer.

  2. In bottle: soft and sweet. I can't make out any particular notes- not even the lemon that so many other reviews mention.

Wet: Ooh  Very feminine sweet light musk.

Drydown: same as wet, quite lovely

This is a very feminine scent and not at all like the foodie scents I wear so often. I received multiple compliments on how nice I smelled while I was wearing this today. I'm definitely happy that I picked up two bottle of this.

  3. In bottle: yummy, yummy strawberry bliss

Wet: mmm strawberry, I kinda want to lick my arm

After 15 minutes: still very strawberry but the grass has come out of hiding. What a lovely addition.

I could still smell Strawberry Moon on my skin after four hours. The addition of the grass keeps this scent very clean and refreshing. Still mouth-watering though.

  4. In bottle: juicy fruit candy. Like strawberry and cherry starburst with a pixie stick sprinkled on top. Exactly what I thought this scent would be.

Wet: aw man, this morphs on my skin the same way beaver'versary does. It smells like coconut and graham cracker? Not like the scent in the bottle at all.

After 15 minutes: still coconut graham cracker. How heartbreaking.

  5. In imp: mostly lemon grass with a smidgen of light florals

Wet: straight lemon- very bright, clean, and refreshing

Dry: still quite lemony but with a nice cedar undertone and a hint of rose rounding it out.

Namaste is having a very calming, peaceful effect on me. I may have to get a 5ml to dab on when I'm stressed. This would also work really well as a summer fragrance.

  6. In bottle: wood, dust and patchouli

Wet on skin: warm, kind of masculine, earthy scent

I only got to enjoy the pleasant fragrance for a few seconds before I made the painful discovery that I am allergic to cardamom. :cry2: This will have to be a scent locket only oil in order to avoid large, angry red welts in the future. Sigh.

  7. In the bottle: mmm! Cocoa and caramel with a bit of cherry

On skin: Cinnamon and a little cherry. Mainly just strong, hot cinnamon though.

Also- it burns, it burns!! I hadn't read these reviews before I tried it, I just read the scent description. Big mistake. I wasn't able to wash it off immediately and by the time I did (after about five minutes) I had painful bright red splotches on my neck. Ow! In the future I will make sure to read the reviews before trying new scents.

I still like this though so I will likely end up getting a scent locket and keep my fingers crossed.

  8. Years ago I almost fell in love with Demeter's Dirt, my only problem with it was that it faded to almost nothing a few minutes after being applied.

Graveyard Dirt '08 has exactly the rich soil and moss smell that I have been looking for and it doesn't do a disappearing act on me. I'm so happy I ordered this but I wish I had thought ahead and ordered two.
