  1. I LOVE the incensie woodsie resinie smell in my hair! :wub2: I spray it on my brush so that I can evenly distribute it and I can't stop smelling my hair and it's been 2 days. My hair is naturally curly and fine and so far I've only used it after blowing my hair out. I can't wait to see what it does on my curls.

  2. I agree Eden Sixth Day, I thought it was going to be leather, rawhide and maybe sweetgrass or something, but it's not. In the bottle it smells completely different that on my skin, which is a good thing. I didn't realize it, but yes, whiskey does sound right to me. Not as fantastic as I wanted it to be, but not bad, not bad at all. I thought I was the only one who bought it :)

  3. I love it, this is by far my favorite of the new Halloweenies that I've tried. It's in my top 10. I think the oakmoss is amazing, it's just the perfect amount, not too mossy but just right. It's the perfect wood scent for me, I was afraid the cypress would be powdery but it isn't at all. 5 out of 5.

  4. I didn't like it at all on first sniff, but tried it anyway. I hate vetiver, this scent is so not for me and the anise, blech :( I think I amp something horrid in this mix, I had to wash it off which has only happened to me once before with BPAL. :(

  5. It absorbed right into my skin too, Edens Sixth Day, after about half an hour. It's very faint.. and I am surprised too because in the bottle is does smell extremely resinie. I love the sweetness and I am not sure where it's coming from but I get a green note. I can barely smell the cumin. I wish this had more throw because it's such a beautiful scent.

  6. knowing Beth I wouldn't be surprised. :) If she made one, what scents do you think would be right for it? I'm really curious, I have no idea what New Zealand smells like, or a Maori deity for that matter!

I have to also admit, I think Maori men are sexy as hell. I once had a year long flirtation with a Maori man who owned a salmon farm. He was also an artist, he did pendants out of abalone shells. He was a very intelligent, eloquent man.

  7. I was told to get this by several board members. I got a big bottle and it's my favorite amber. I wear it all the time. It doesn't go powdery on me, the warm amber scent stays on my skin for hours and hours. tiny bit of spice.

  8. I don't know about everyone else, but as a long-term, extremely picky customer I can tell you that I am completely satisfied and delighted by both BPAL's products and customer service. I am not sure what your agenda is here Jayne, but if you are trying to persuade the members of BPAL's forum that they are "tricking" us somehow, or ripping us off, you are totally barking up the wrong tree.

  9. it doesn't smell like coke to me at all..it's definitely my favorite of the Yule 09 scents.

On me it dries to a resinie awesomeness with a hint of darkness.. and it has amazing staying power. I can still smell this one on my wrists the day after, after a bath.
