  1. This one was a weird one. First applying it was lovely almonds and the usual buttery pumpkin with a hint of spice, it stayed that way for about an hour, but then I started to smell something familiar...Dorian! This was Dorian with pumpkins! Very odd.....love Dorian though, and the pumpkin adds a bit of sweet, just was not expecting that morph at all .

  2. When I first put it on it was hellooooo cocoa! But just a quick whiff of it, very weird, since it's definitely not one of the mentioned ingredients. Goes away almost instantly and is replaced by a lovely honeyed fig, so yummy! After drying down for a while the patchouli comes out to say hi and grounds the scent a bit, making it not quite as sweet but still really yummy. Think this is going to get some serious use this fall :)

  3. In the beginning, it was pure chocolate, after a second or two there was MINT! For about 20 minutes this was pure chocolate mint love, but then it turned into something weird, dusty and just not right :ack: so, I gave it to a co-worker who smells like lovely chocolate mint brownies for hours at a time. (I'm jealous, but now she's enabled )

  4. Unfortunately not the coffee note I was hoping for, it's mostly wood to begin with, a very faint whiff of coffee that fades down and gets sweet. But! after drying down for about 40 minutes or so, it turns into the best pipe tobacco smoke ever! Love it! Will have to keep looking for that elusive coffee scent I want, but definitely glad I got a bottle of this :wub2:

  5. ... The scent is one of unadulterated spiritual purity, with a taste of the world's eternal pathos, and the joy of suffering with grace: frankincense, olive, spikenard, hyssop and galangal.

Clean, floral, slightly spicy and fruity? Maybe just sweet, hard to say. Doesn't smell like any fruit I could name, but I smell it and think fruit. I keep smelling my wrist, it's really nice, even if I don't know exactly how to describe it .

  6. Helloooooo vetiver! Immediately after applying, all vetiver all the time! But after a couple of seconds the orange appears, yes! something that can hold its own against vetiver! Mmmm, after a few minutes, orangey vetivery goodness :wub2:. Usually vetiver is a deal breaker for me because it'll beat down any other scent that happens to be unlucky enough to be paired with it, but in this blend the orange sticks around and gives that vetiver a run for its money. Probably not bottle worthy, but definitely keeping the imp.

  7. Lemony, tea-y, slight bit of musk....reminds me of a much lighter Dorian. I've worn it every day for a week so thinking it's a good warm weather scent  and I loooooove it! Usually don't go for so many repeat performances so think that this will definitely need a bottle to get me through the summer :)

  8. Wet: Helloooooo Snake Oil! *check imp to make sure it wasn't Snake Oil*

Dry down: Aaah, there's Dorian! and some Snake Oil...plus what smells like freshly cleaned baby! You know, not the 'baby fresh soap smell' but actual clean baby smell...very nice!

  9. Mmmm, tangerine! A nice smoky one...uh oh, there's cedar...ah! Cedar's going to play nice today! After about 5 minutes *ack* that's why cedar's playing nice, there's VETIVER!!! Hmm, vetiver's playing nice, very unusual, since it usually likes to take over and become SN Vetiver regardless of it's playmates. One hour later, yep, that's what it did! But, if I could keep re-applying it, the first hour is quite yummy so there is hope, at least for the imp :)

  10. Definitely aquatic, so :wub2: for me! A bit of floral, a bit of grass, really like going outside right after the rain and standing near some flowers. Don't get any of the smoke :( but it's still a really nice and refreshing blend, will hold and love it!

  11. Amazing! It's like Bonfire Night without the sweet at the end, all smoky goodness....mmmmmm  Am surprised that there's vetiver in here, because I don't smell it at all and vetiver usually amps like crazy on me. I'm thinking it's definitely bottle time!

  12. Mmmm, coconut! A little bit of a buttery scent and then coconutty, pure yum! Seems to last for a decent amount of time too, been almost five hours and I still get little whiffs of it every now and then. :wub2:

  13. First putting this on it was....MUSK!!!!!!!!!!!! But after about 5 minutes it dried down to a nice vanilla-ish spice, very nice! It's not all that strong after the first few minutes of musk happiness, but it is a nice close skin scent, which is good 'cause I wouldn't want to share this with many people, hehehe.
