  1. Not sure what this smells like, but it is a very comforting scent to me with a hint of apples when first applied. Dry down reminds me of blankets at my grandma's house in the winter, I love it! Scent is rather subtle and lasts for hours. :wub2:

  2. Days of Winter Sunshine

"Are the days of winter sunshine just as sad for you, too? When it is misty, in the evenings, and I am out walking by myself, it seems to me that the rain is falling through my heart and causing it to crumble into ruins."
- Gustave Flaubert

Rain falling through the heart: carrot seed, frankincense, white jasmine, sea buckthorn berry, and iris.

This, this is goooood. It's a light jasmine with a hint of fresh green and a touch of the sea. Dry down is mostly frankincense and jasmine, I looooves it! :wub2:

  3. thank goodness other people are getting lemon out of this  from reading the description i was sure it was a figment of my imagination. this starts out with a quick whiff of vetiver, which fades fast and turns into lemon verbena and a little bit of amber. unfortunately, lemon verbena always smells like lemon drops mixed with lemon cleaner, so this is not for me.

  4. HATTA
Copaiba balsam, battered brown leather, and Ceylon cinnamon.

This! This is gooooood. Leather, definitely well broken in leather with spices, cinnamon isn't overpowering and in your face, but you know it's there and I've no idea what Copaiba balsam is supposed to smell like, but to me it smells like the aftertaste of root beer...not that that makes any sense, but it's what it smells like to me and I love it! :joy:

  5. Dark Chocolate with Wormwood, Fennel, Sweet Flag, and Lemon Verbena, Dusted with White Sugar

whee! wow, my decant is mostly chocolate sludge  love it! very hard to mix though. initially, there is a blast of chocolate, followed by a whiff of lemon and the slight hint of licorice. dry down seems to be a slightly smokey chocolate that's been kissed by sugar. pretty good, actually :joy:

  6. this really shouldn't work on me, patchouli and myrrh both hate me  and the mention of vetiver made me not even want to try it on  but very glad i did! this is an amazing blend of sweet and dirt and a teeeeny hint of vetiver that doesn't take over and kill it :thud: love it! very grateful to the person who sent me this frimp cause i never would've tried it on my own! :wub2:

  7. THRIVE
If you make a purchase at Black Phoenix Trading Post on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, or Cyber Monday, you’ll get a squirt of a TAL-inspired blend, THRIVE: a warm, vibrant, prosperity-generating blend of ginger root, gingergrass, frankincense, cardamom, tonka, and hay absolute.

wow, this is really gingery! fresh ginger lightly touched with frankincense makes this a really refreshing smell. don't really smell the other parts individually, but it does have a hint of spice to it. love! :wub2:

  8. this is not good! i may have to change my opinion of vetiver! this is a really nice scent, soft but with a hint of vetiver making an appearance and actually not taking over! dries down soft and with a hint of something fuzzy or furry in the background, if that makes sense
