    Harvest Moon 2004

This one is a tricky little bugger. Wet, it was a gorgeous red-fruit scent; I got apples and cranberries and underneath it all the distinctive scent of fallen leaves! However, on my wrist it dried to a fairly average, chemical floral rather quickly. But!!! There's more! If I put it in my hair rather than on my skin, the fruit lingers longer and doesn't go chemical. Go figure.

    Velvet

This was the first oil I really noticed morphing on me as the hours passed. Out of the bottle it was gorgeous buttery chocolate, but it only remained so on my skin for about twenty minutes. It then became a very soft sandalwood with just a lick of chocolate for about two hours. Then...behold!...the cocoa resurrected and the scent became very much like Lush's Cupcake face mask; the sandalwood toned down and out popped an unexpected sniff of mint amongst the gentle chocolate. Marvelous!!!

    Grog

Oh, how I love Grog. It starts lovely and alcohol-y and mellows to an amazing combination of buttery rum, sugar, and...wood? Smoke? It smells like a butterscotch from the wrong side of the tracks. And that's just fine with me.
