Snow White
in Yules
I tried this yesterday.
in the bottle: Snow White 08 smells like wet grass and a cold night. It's a little odd, but not unpleasant.
wet: On me, this scent became a playdough type smell. Flowers and playdough. Not that appealing.
dry: The playdough smell isn't as potent but still lingers behind the scent of flowers. This one definitely isn't right for me.

bottle: mmmmm. minty, sweet..... I'm in love.
wet: Wow. This scent is magnificently pepperminty on me. It's like I'm a candy cane. I fully understand the term "Lick it like you mean it" now. This scent smelled weirdly different on my sister. On her, the scent was a very smoky musk. But on me, the scent is light, pure peppermint. Very festive. This is my first lick it perfume and so far I'm enjoying it.
dry: I too, smell like a sweet, fresh candy cane. Anyone who enjoys peppermint will love this.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one freaking out.
When I made a query about my order on answers@blackphoenixalchemylab.com, I kept getting that Mailer-Daemon thing sent back to me.
I ordered on the 15th of October, and it says it was shipped on CCNow on October 31st. Glad to know that I can stop crying because CCNow's shipped doesn't mean it was actually shipped. I'm very impatient, obviously, but now I can feel a little relieved and hope that the actual CnS comes soon.
The Lion

I'm doing a random-imp-a-day where I pick a random imp and try it on. I have so many of them that I rarely get to smell them on the skin, and I do want to give all my imps a try. So today... I closed my eyes and picked The Lion.
In the bottle: the Lion is a mixture of different spices. I can definitely tell that the amber is somewhere in there, but it's pretty covered up by a sweet/spice scent.
Wet on the skin: Wow. The Lion actually smells warm. I don't know any other way to describe it but that.
Three hours later: I too get hints of dry grasses, but it's way behind a sweet, soft scent of amber. The spice notes in it have died down, and I can tell that this scent probably will only last another three hours or so.
Over-All: This scent smells good, but is nothing like I expected. It's not the type of scent that keeps your nose glued to your wrist, but it is very pleasant and on the dry down becomes exceptionally subtle.
5 mL: Nah. I'd probably only buy the occasional imp of this instead of a 5mL of it.
