  1. I just couldn't resist ordering a bottle of yellow snow. And I am not disappointed at all.

Lots of snow and citrus on my skin. Mint is light and more "snow note" than mint. This is my 3rd favorite Yule scent this year and I am glad to have a bottle.

  2. Wow, this one works so well on me!

In the bottle, it's a creamy lavender. On my skin, it starts out straight up lavender cheesecake with no honey at all. It dries down to a soft vanilla lavender reminiscent of TKO on my skin. I love this one so much, I have someone buying me a back-up bottle at tonight's WC.

If you love lavender and you love vanilla/foody scents, this is definitely a winner. :wub2:

  3. Not skin tested as this is a gift for someone, sweet metallic incense. I actually really like the scent of this one and might have to get one for myself to fully skin test in the future.

  4. Cleric

Not skin tested as this is a gift for someone, but sniffing the decant it's all rose and incense.

ETA: I got a frimp of this in my last lab order so I was able to finally skin test. I was surprised how sweet it smells on me. On me, I barely smell any rose and get lots of sweet myrrh, frankincense, and herb. Very resinous.

  5. FRUITBAT FRUITBATH
Plump plums, ripe pomegranate, sweet mango, kumquat, yuzu, melon blossom, and Boquila berries.

Applied on my skin, not in bath:

Fruity! Melon is strongest on me, but I tend to amp the Lab's melon note, so not a surprise for me. I would swear there are strawberries in this one too if I didn't see the note listing. It's sweet...it's fruity...it's exactly what I thought it would be. ;)

  6. Applied on my skin, not in bath:

Buttery, rich pumpkin meat. I'm not really picking up on the stout, but this is smelling pretty yummy on my skin right now. :wub2:

ETA: Tried this again tonight (11/7/11) and I am now picking up a little smokiness and more stout to the scent. Still not as "stouty" as I thought it would be, but I do like the decant.

  7. I tried my decant of Frankincense and Clove gloss this morning. Light fragrance and stays close to the hair, so not a lot of throw, which I am actually kind of happy for since it allows me to wear this anywhere.

As I was spritzing the gloss into my hand for application on my hair, the clove was strongest note. Very holiday-esque scented. :D

Same amazing effect as the SO gloss. My hair is soft, not greasy, very manageable, and styles with blow dryer so well.

Can't wait to gradually try the other remaining glosses. :wub2:

  8. I've been using it SO gloss daily since I had my hair cut short a couple weeks ago.

Personally, I have best results applying it right after my morning shower to my still wet hair. I spritz about 3 times into my hands and then glide through the back of my head. I do 2-3 more smaller spritzes and catch the sides of my hair and top of my head. I then continue my normal routine of blowing drying and styling.

My hair actually retains the styling ALL freaking day long without being stiff or greasy looking.

My hair has never, ever been softer (except maybe when I was baby. )

I've had almost no issue with static head. (With the colder temperatures settling in here in the Great Lakes region, my head of hair usually looks like I put a finger in a light socket unless I frequently run wet fingers through it. But not anymore!) This amazing gloss is even keeping my hair from flying away in the drier air of almost-winter. We'll see how it holds up when the temperatures really start to dip, but so far I am extremely pleased.

AND on top of all that, I get to smell amazing all day long. (Plus the throw is not as strong for the SO gloss as I thought it would be, so I've been able to wear this everywhere including work without worry of overpowering any sensitive noses of co-workers. A win-win for everyone.)

Big thanks to Beth & Co for this wonderful hair product!!! :wub2: :wub2: :wub2:
