  1. Wet on my skin, I get that "fizzy pomegranate" note that Aldercy referenced above. I'm definitely picking up the black pepper and oakmoss as well. I actually don't find this to be too masculine on me. The patchouli begins to emerge as it dries further.

Fully dry, the pomegranate, black pepper, and patchouli notes are strongest in that exact order.

I love this scent! I'll have to try to make this one last.

  2. I pick up the lab's snow/winter note in this blend, which is always chilly mint and pine to my nose mixed in with candy, pumpkin, and just a trace of leaves and dirt. I guess I can see the reference to maple syrup as well, though I initially just considered it to be the candy note. I love this blend.

  3. Starts off a little bitter on my skin. As it settles, the wood, linen, and pumpkin rind notes emerge. I really can't smell the bourbon vanilla note in this one. Unfortunately, it's not as creamy as I had hoped it would be on my skin, so I think I may need to pass on this one.

  4. Bright fruity pumpkin on my skin with red currant and honey. I'm not really getting any chocolate out of this. I don't find this terribly foody and definitely has more of a pumpkin floral vibe to it the longer it dries on my skin.

ETA: Bottle label is darling with Lilith in it.

  5. A very dry apple scent on me. The black musk, cypress, and myrrh notes are strongest on me layered over the apple note. The tobacco comes out several minutes after application. From wet to dry, this remains very dry, slightly powdery, and stays close to the skin--not a lot of throw for me.

  6. Love this blend. It starts out all foody and very much like Cake Smash, but then about 15 minutes into dry down, I get cigarette smoke mingled with the cake scent. I actually hate the smell of cigarettes in reality, but in this blend, it just works. It's now been over 7 hours since I applied it and, while the cigarette smell is gone, I'm still left with this gorgeous soft sweet cake scent on my wrists.

This would have been amazing as a BPTP atmospheric spray. Maybe someday... ;)

  7. Sniffing the bottle, this put me off considerably as it smelled of BPAL's milk note that just doesn't agree with me. On my skin, it's a cross between milky and buttery vanilla on clean cotton. I like it, but not sure I want to keep an entire bottle.

  8. If it weren't listed in the notes, I would never believe there is gardenia in this blend.

In the bottle, it's soft, creamy, and sweet smelling, but not cloying. On my skin, I get that same spicy orange creamsicle quality several other have gotten. This blend is just gorgeous and I really need more of it, like now!

  9. Yikes, this scent is a bit nauseating for me. Pink pepper is definitely the strongest note right after application. After a few minutes, I can also smell the patchouli, clove, and rum notes. In the end, I had to wash this one off my skin. This combination of notes is not for me.

  10. Starts out very bitter on my skin. After a couple minutes, I begin to pick up the wood note, but still very bitter scent. Gradually softens on dry down, and I also pick up a dry leather note. By the time it's fully dry, no bitterness remains and I am left with a woodsy, leather, herbal-esque scent.
